 The stadium began to dissolve and turn into data, Lief knew it was time to get out of here. He stood no chance against these two. Looking across the arena he could see his opponent on his side of the field. Maybe if they could team up they would stand a better chance of survival. "Come on Val, let's get over there and see if we can team up!" The Tamer and the Digimon took off, hoping that the distracted knights wouldn't notice them trying to cross the field. The pair dodged still falling debris and jumped over dissolving parts of the stadium. This was a mess.
As they got about half way to the other side Dynasmon gave out a shout about something and Lief's Digivice beeped twice. Lief skidded to a halt and looked down at the device in his hand, a green lock had appeared on across the screen. The grey haired tamer wasn't sure what that meant but he had to figure it wasn't good. He had to fear the worst, the best thing to do was get off this field. Lief decided to see if the boy he was battling could hear him, "Hey kid, let's get out of here....come on, we can find a way out." Lief wasn't sure what they were going to do when suddenly as if an outside force had been listening to his voice an escape presented its self. On the back side of the arena a door opened up that Lief had not noticed earlier.
Not having time to think about if it was safe or not, Lief took off for the door, calling back to his opponent, "Come on, let's try this way, maybe it's a way out!" Val and Lief almost reached the door when a shock wave hit them in the backs sending them sprawling through the doorway and into an unknown underground passage.

As the group of tamers form together, it is obvious that they want to escape while their arena hosts continued to barely buy them time, the question is... would escape be that easy for them?
As the tamers notice people clamoring to get out of the doors, they would soon ear deathly cries as well as the slashing sounds of sabers against human and digimon flesh.
"NONE SHALL ESCAPE JUDGEMENT!" A digimon would call after plunging his blade into the stomach of a fleeing patamon. Another ball knight would soon join it as they both slashed whomever made it past....
"ALL WHOM FLEE SHALL PERISH!!!" Another digimon, a dracomon would cry as he and his allies unleashed flames on a group children and their young partners as they entered through the doorway.

Marco and Veemon cried out in pain as the fire balls landed right in front of them creating a small blast that send them flying. He wasn't sure how, but Belphegor had disappeared behind a door that appeared out of nowhere. He was about to follow inside, but then they were attacked by some blasted Pokemon. The mini explosion had knocked Marco and Veemon on their butt, but they did not miss the chaos that was happening around them. First, the Royal Knights decided to and kill everyone and now there were even rogue digimon who were attacking the audience (even small children!). Marco's hands curled into fists, he could not stand this destruction. He got up and gripped his digivice, the digivolution was locked and they could not call for more digimon so Veemon would be his only partner for now. He was okay with that, his bond with Veemon was stronger since he was his first digimon ever.
He looked around where Vademon was previously doing the announcements, it seemed that he was trying to talk with the Royal Knights ending this madness. However, his words were not heard and they entered a battle. Marco wanted to go there and help Vademon, but he knew that this was beyond his power. If Veemon could only digivolve then they would at least stand a chance.
The Royal Knights have not noticed him yet which was a good thing because he could try and find a way to help Vademon by escaping this place. Maybe if he escaped then the digivice would unlock and he could digivolve his digimon to come back and fight those evil knights. He noticed the Dracomon and Gladimon who were attacking everyone. It was time for some pay back.
"Veemon, power up." Marco commanded as Veemon pumped his fist into the air to active his 'Victory Punch' power boost. His body was surrounded by a golden aura, "Vee Punch!" Veemon jabbed forward in an attempt to knock out these digimon from their path. Veemon's fist was send flying towards one of the three Dracomon. The green dragon was knocked back, the sheer force of Veemon's attack destroyed the dragon type. Veemon threw another jab this time hitting the second Dracomon who was send back flying as well. Marco grinned, "two down and three to go," he looked around hoping to find some other tamers who could help him battle these digimon. He would not be able to handle this by himself.

 Neirin bounds down the bleachers while Vademon and Harpymon valiantly hold the attention of the callous knights now spreading chaos and destruction throughout the arena... He feels a small pang of despair as he watches them, knowing there wasn't much they could do against two so strong (not to mention stuck-up and self-righteous) warriors for long... But he doesn't let it linger and quickly hardens it to determination.
 Recognizing his former competitor from before, Neirin makes a beeline for him... Lance was the only person who he knew here aside from his own Digimon.
"That's gonna be no good, man!" Neirin yells down at him, trying to get his attention. "Come on, we need to get out of here so we can try to--"
"ALL WHOM FLEE SHALL PERISSSSSSHHHH!"
Before Neirin can finish, an overzealous Dracomon who had dropped down from the ceiling with several others' at the Royal Knights' call charges up the stairs between them on his powerful little legs, bearing down on the young tamer... Eyes widening in surprise and realization as the little dragon's teeth draw near him, he has hardly made recognition of the threat before Tsunami the Betamon barrels down the steps toward him, bouncing and using their momentum to slam into the Dracomon's stomach, knocking him forcefully down the stairs with a howl of pain. "DON'T... TOUCH... MY... TAMER!!" Tsunami roars with an ugly snarl, a threatening guttural croak resounding from deep in his throat as little bolts of static start to crackle along his fin...
((Kk so I read the posts about the Controlled Free-Form Combat in addition to the tourney proctor's most recent one, so is the 1 4-sided die used later or what? Let me know so I can correct my roll if need be or whatever)) |

The opposing digimon would be easily wiped out by the present team of tamers and their partner digimon. As quickly as they appeared, the party of Dracomon would fall under the might of Neirin and Marco's team, but their initial plot would appear to be rather effective as all the tamers and their digimon were burned by the Dracomon and their wall of fire. The gladimon would also have their hands full when dealing with Lance's team. After being taken out by Lance's veemon, the Gladimon's partner would feel rage. "NO! How dare you touch royalty! I'll have your head!" The swordsman would cry as he made a mad dance for Lance with both of his swords at the ready. Edit: In a cry of rage, the digimon would go into a spin attack with both swords, hitting both Lance and his veemon partner. "Feast your eyes on my swordplay... SWORD DANCER!!" As the Dracomon who had attacked him falls, Neirin makes a mad dash for the exit with Tsunami in tow, wincing as the Dracomons' flames singe them as they burst through the entryway.
Pausing to look back at the other tamers, there was no sign of Lief nor Belphegor, who had been competing in the match... Feeling a bit of a sinking sensation, Neirin could only hope that they had been able to flee to safety (leaving the rest of them, including the spectators, to basically die =__=') rather than be vaporized into thin air by the Royal Pains-in-the-Fanny. "Hey, you guys!" he yells at the two Veemon tamers fighting down on the ground floor, waving his arms to get their attention. "C'mon, we gotta get out of here ay-sap!"
Seeing that his attempt to get their attention don't seem to be working, he frowns for a moment-- but his disgruntlement is short-lived, as his partner still seems to be plenty riled from the heat of battle... Quickly identifying the lone remaining enemy on the field, Tsunami the Betamon unleashes an arch of built-up static electricity towards it, growling furiously. "BOG BLASTER!" The crackling electricity leaps through the air toward the lone saber-wielding mini-knight, frying him and removing the threat of the Knights' underlings.
