The difference between the good guys and the bad guys
Catching eyes with Jack Kai's eyes widened as he became flushed. Why was he looking towards him. Why did he call him up. A blur of questions filled his head as he looked down towards the ground before slowly moving up towards the dummies. Why did he have to be the one called. If he showed his strengths the other kids would likely make fun of him or poke at him more then this teacher did. Lifting his head up he looked at the dummy as he stood there breaking out in a sweat. He had practice fighting many many times before with his father why was it now that he had blanked as he simply stood there trembling. What should he do. Hit it? But if he did that wouldn't it hit him back with double the force. What he if he just tapped it maybe he could dodge the attack.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

With everyone's attention on the boy near the dummy, Koyuki silently walked in, with Yu trotting behind, and tried to blend in with everyone else. She hated gym and just hope the teacher wouldn't start picking on her.

Letting out a slightly relieved sigh Kai started over towards Jack. He had jumped the gun a bit on that one much to his enlightenment. Hopefully he would be able to get out of this class without having to show anything really about himself. He had made one friend aleast in the little dragon that had until he rushed up perched on his shoulder. He wanted to keep it that way atleast. Stepping infront of Jack Kai looked up to him only to about mid chest. It was the highest he would look at the man at the moment half expecting to be made fun of tho like the tiger girl before had been.
Is whether they use a human shield or make themselves one.

Amia walked to the group, bringing her hands down from her head with a wince. The pain was starting to subside to the point where she could handle it without it being too much of a bother. She looked back at the dummy and wished she'd gone back and tried again. She wasn't normally the type to quit so quickly, but she did this time. She looked back at her teacher, figuring she'd have another go at it later.

On your mark, get set, run! Amil  As she felt Kai starting to move towards the dummy, Amil remained and watched Jack and Shane for the moment. She could feel Kai's tension, he seemed very uncomfortable and it only seemed to get worse. As Jack held out his hand , Amil jumped up just above Kai and was flying just above watching Jack, Kai, and glancing towards Shane every now and then. She wasn't going to interfere with Kai's training, but wasn't sure how to really encourage him. She'd just have to hope and let him accomplish .I reach out to pull you closer, but just then

Huh? He wanted him to punch his hand? Was he going to do anything weird to him like toss him or anything. Well if he did likely then he would be put in trouble by the school he believed. Looking down at his hand for a moment he opened and closed his hand for a moment before pulling his fist back and striking at Jack's palm The punch he put in as much as he could with him still not sure about things so to an adult it would likely be more of an annoyance in power then anything more.

Penny was glad that Amia was somewhat ok and got a cold compress from the first aid kit. "Will this help?" she asked softly, so not to give her a headache with loud voices, if that was even possible for Penny.
Eva sighed and finally stood up. "Sorry for the delay class. It seems we have only a few students this hour. Everyone else must be in gym." she said as she walked around her desk and sat on it. "Now, as you may know, this is Magic and Guardian History class. I'll try not to make you too bored as you learn where Guardians come from and why we have them." she said. "Do any of you have questions before we begin?" she asked.

Sebastian listened intently already ready to take notes.
Jack caught the punch and a loud smack from when Kai's fist collided with Jack's palm was heard, then Jack grabbed his hand "You think to much, it takes you 4 times as long to deliver a hit if you keep over thinking about things." He then let go of his hand "Nice Jab though"

Watching what had just happened, Koyuki quickly figured out what has been going on for the duration of class that she had missed. Being tested on one's strength...She'll probably look like a fool for probably being the weakest one in class. She let out an inaudible sigh as she looked down at Yu.

"Can I take another go at that damned dummy?" Amia said after they were done. She wasn't going to ask, but she was pissed at herself for not making a better show of her skills. She could've had it if she'd just paid attention! And if she hadn't underestimated it. Now that she knew what to expect, she'd have a better chance. Though her head still throbbed slightly, the pain had gone down a lot within the short time.

((Geez! I missed a lot! I didn't have any time between classes to get online and post today...Sorry.))
Xandra silently crept into the gym to watch Jack testing the students and their Guardians. She noticed a couple of the students didn't have Guardians yet, but a couple other Guardians seemed to be keeping close to those students. Xandra wanted to join in, but she didn't want to get in the way, so she stayed off to the side.

Standing there as he pulled his fist back Kai was slightly surprised at the outcome of his punch. He hadn't yelled at him nor had he scolded him nor made fun of him for his punch. Looking down at his hand a moment he looked back up to jack."Th-thank you" Kai said his voice low as he gave him a bow. Maybe he was wrong in his thinking and only poked fun when people were prideful about themselves.
