Young Justice: PANIC ATTACK (Open!)

Lewis stopped when he heard a voice. When he turned he could see a girl, possibly his age, maybe younger, who stood in the hall. "Sure, but what are you doing here?" Lewis asked. There wasn't supposed to be anyone in the academy ruins, and he didn't think there would be anyone nearby who would possibly wander in and get lost by mistake.

Nightmare

They say you shouldn't be afraid of the dark.
That nothing will harm you,
and nightmares are just dreams...

Nightmare's frightened expression turned slightly smug as she probed into the boy's mind for his darkest fear. He wouldn't feel it until he saw what she had found pulled to the forefront and taking her place in front of him.

...But they're wrong. You should fear the dark.
For I am the thing that hides within it
and brings your nightmares to life.

((Leaving it up to you guys to decide and describe what your character's greatest fear is since I don't want to play god.))

Lewis's eyes widened when the girl suddenly changed shape. Impossible, they told me he was insane! Lewis thought frantically as his Grandfather appeared. He had heard stories about the man from his parents and how horrible he was, but deep down, Lewis feared he was the same as him, which was why he had no desire to lay eyes on Grandfather Grimm.

Nightmare chuckled darkly. She never actually knew what her victims saw, but she always enjoyed seeing their expressions of horror.

Lewis's horror quickly turned to anger and he started firing off telekinetic shockwaves towards his Grandfather. He didn't want the man anywhere near him and would do everything he could to keep it that way.

"Archer help me find some light" Dead said as he ran behind her keeping the debris from hitting either of them and instead making it rain down upon the creatures throwing it. He needed to get out of this area he was scared and he didn't like that feeling.

As Skye looked at the "little girl" and it seemed like her vision started to darken as the girl started to shift into ghostly demonic figure. There wasn't anyone she was particularly afraid of, but she was afraid of being defenseless and alone, especially without her tech. She couldn't see anything except this figure nor could she feel her gauntlet. Her breathing started to quicken and she even started to sweat a bit.

As the Droogels continued to barrage the two teens in the classroom, their numbers began to slowly subsist. Soon they were all suddenly gone and the room went quiet. The only thing missing from the scene was a gentle gust of dry. hollow wind and a lonely tumbleweed passing by.

Back in the gymnasium, the brawl continued. Now even more Droogels appeared, howling like wild animals. Some continued throwing chunks of debris at the intruders, others went for a head on assault. Those who did were met with much confusion as there was now seemed to be many of the doing random things. Some Droogels believed they had caught the teenagers and beat them to a pulp but did not. Others felt they cornered them, but all were wrong.

Shadowfiend slunk next to Darkside, appearing out of the shadows as she sat next to him and looked up at him, her bladed tail waving slightly as she chittered a bit, her spine-like hair shivering slightly in her odd way of saying hello. She then proceeded to look around before looking back at Darkside, as if asking what had happened while she was out, and what she could do.
