A stones throw away from the pair the sounds of approaching footsteps as well as the sound of rubble being kicked away could be heard, Hatake Masahiro arriving from within the cloud of rubble and dust that had sprung up from the elder Uchiha's technique and permeated the air around them now. His form bore odd markings, his figure physically more fit than either of the three before him would normally recall him. A ring of Silverblue pigmentation surrounded his eyes and from the bridge of his nose spanning out towards his jaw, on either side, were three extensions of this coloration, an odd emblem blazed on his forehead, showing the signs of a non-animal pathed Sennin. His now Red-Green eyes, giving the appearance of having two iris' surrounding each other, stared at the two men and his student before he heard the word Chuunin and saw her make off for the dojo. As she passed him he would merely pat her shoulder and whisper a soft congratulation to her, before allowing her to continue on. When she was nearly out of earshot he continued forward, eyeing the Uchiha carefully before looking to Noctis.
"We captured the Kyuubi, but the question now rises if we can control it and keep it locked, Noctis..." he spoke, taking care to keep the other shinobi in his line of sight "and whether or not our village is safe in it's current tradition. We need to consolidate our strength as we rebuild, Hokage, and ensure that our gennin and Chuunin can in fact hold their own in teams should this happen again. We got hit hard, Noctis." He finished, using the man's title as an awkward extension.
As he finished speaking, however, his body convulsed heavily, the lines and concentration of chakra in his facial and bodily features gaped for a moment, before actively dissipating, leaving him as the Masahiro they knew from sight. He heaved slightly as his own chakra levels dropped, his body unused to the shock of retaining Sennin Mode so long. Finding himself hard to stand he walked over to the same tree Noctis rested on, leaning against the opposite side, creating a kind of stark contrast in their figures. The way the two of them approached their Karma and Dogma, as well as their sociological views of the Village Hidden in the Leaves.

『 The Uchiha male nodded in agreement with Noctis' words. Masaru would give the Hatake a look-over as well. Maybe Masahiro was sizing him up, or maybe just wondering what kind of shinobi his was, the possibilities endless really. However, the more he thought on the subject, the Uchiha kept coming back to the same idea that the Hatake was wary of him, but it didn't bother him much. Listening to him talk, it would seem that he was.. well, Masaru couldn't really pinpoint how the male was acting per say. The word was on the tip of his tongue, but for the mind of him couldn't think of it. At the mentioning that the village needed to ensure that the Genin and Chuunin needed to learn how to hold their own should something like this happen again he agreed. It still continued to amuse him how to referred to the Hokage by his name along with no surname at that. There came that silence as the two men rested up as Masaru just chilled in the company of them. When Noctis told them to search the bodies Masaru would give a simple 'Hn' as he stood and stretched. "Would you like to wait a few minutes for us to do that and then I could escort you to the Monument?" Then turning to the Hatake he would comment, "You may continue to rest if you wish and I will search them. You seem like you could use a break anyways, you look pretty tired. Okay?" Masaru would give a gentle smile before starting to make his way over to the bodies and starting to pat them down and search for anything and everything he could find, however staying alert in case the bastards were booby-trapped. 』™ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

the pat down revealed that some of the gear was left behind, but there was not a compelte set of armor, weapon, or item around. No insignia's no maps, no plans.

Shikatsu got away from that last blast with nothing but cuts, which weren't that bad because he had the gates opened. He closed all the gates he was in and walked over to Noctis. "Noctis, I wanted to tell you that your kids and Sukai were in the mansion when the attack started. I had one of my shadow clones escort them out and away from here. As far as I know, they made it to safety just fine. So that's one thing you don't have to worry about at least. Now then, would you like me to heal your wounds?" HE asked, looking him over and seeing the damage he had suffered from this long and tragic attack.
"Your life is to short, so don't go throwing it away so easily."
Masahiro still found it hard to keep himself standing and as such kept his place against the tree, eyes scanning over the different forms of the remaining soldiers on the ground. The most curious thing had been the dissipation of their armor, and that was what he had wanted the most. Still the Jounin rested upon the opposite side of the tree from the Hokage. These men had been after some greater goal, the destruction of Konohagakure and the release of the Kyuubi, this made it glaringly obvious they weren't some lesser bandit rabble. This thought process forced Masahiro to sigh, only moments before he heard the sound of the Hokage beginning to leave in the direction of the Monument. After the arrival of the Nara he understood just what it was the man was seeking. Family.
The concept of family was once a proud racing thought in Masahiro's mind, but with the separation of the Hatake clan to the different nations and the bitterness that some parts of the family took to each other, he realized it was best he remained where he was. He had his own kind of family to look out for now, even if it was a little estranged after the most recent events. Still he shrugged, not to be deterred, and made his way out towards the town centre, to see what still stood.

☦ As chaos consumed the entire village Ayane didn't do much other than direct civilians to the evacuation point. Once the chaos stopped she began to walk back to her brother's place in order to see him once more only to find it slammed with destruction. Crossing her arms in the front doorway she stopped her brother from leaving as she saw him. She noticed others in the area and so she wouldn't talk. Instead she held out her paperwork for him to sign so that she could begin her intense training as a shinobi. Something that should come up as a surprise for him as he wouldn't have even known she enrolled in the first place. Along the paperwork explained she was good with taijutsu and tamer specialties and that her blood revealed she had the Katei no Neko bloodline. So she was going to need a feline partner soon but that would be down the road none the less. Her feline ears twitched as her crimson eyes narrowed awaiting for him to sign the paperwork. ✯

Noctis noticed his adopted little sister appear. He found her when he was on a mission a while back. She had grown up now. And she wanted to be a shinobi."Are you sure this is what you want? Look around you, this is what you'll deal with."He wanted to make sure she was clear about her desicion. This was dangerous work and he didn't want to put her in danger.

☦ Her tail flicked with slight annoyance but she didn't act out with her annoyance. All she did was continue to hold out her paperwork for him to sign off on. She needed him to realize that he had to stop worrying due to the fact that she wasn't a little girl anymore. She was a shinobi now. She had a lot of training that she needed to do as well and the sooner he signed her paperwork the sooner she could get to it. ✯

Noctis slight shook his head as he took hold of the papers and signed them. He handed them back to her and rubbed her head slightly messing up her hair."Make me proud okay?" He then turned to Shika who told him about his kids. He placed a hand on his shoulder."Thank you Shikatsu, you are truly a good friend." He then turned and looked at everyone who was left."I'm going to the Monument. Search the rest of the bodies and see what you find." He then exited.

Erebos stalked around the area remaining stealthy and ensuring to keep normal people unaware of his presence. he found a nice spot to observe the people around the mansion and sat in a tree shrouded by the shadows and also letting a little smoke flow off his body which would make it harder to actually spot him as a human shape.
spotting some people who seemed to have quite a lot of skill Erebos shrank back not wanting to be spotted. he listened intently wanting to catch what was going on. he needed to understand the situation in the village before he chose to make any moves in the village. his primary goal was to attain a position wherein he would be able to make moves behind the scenes. what little wind there was blew some of the smoke away from his face showing his pale skin and hair.

"Alright, but I still suggest you let me at least heal anything major first. It wouldn't be good to drop dead before you got there." He said as he gave him a serious look.

Taking a deep breath she brushed her hair from her face as it flowed in the wind.
