A torrent of faces suddenly arrived in the Academia as soon as Masahiro had sent one out. A girl whom he didn't immediately recognize stood bantering with a pair of ANBU, both of whom seemed to be a bit offput by her demeanor. His eyes focused on the girl for the briefest of moments, her physical features spoke to her being from the other continent. This would be interesting, but first, he had to deal with the others he knew. Nanami was in hysterics, her face spoke of loss. The Hatake cursed himself, her father had been one of those caught in the detonation of the office. Grinding his hand into the workbench he sighed and turned to face Shin'ichi. The boy was back and stoic as ever, looking for new orders. Setting his hands flat on the table for a moment he pressed away.
"Shin'ichi, with the latest flood of genin, coupled with the need for competent and caring leaders, I will be giving you a squad of your own. As a temporary measure, I'm breaking Gen Uchiha off of his last designation and will be coupling him into your squad. Alongside him, I'll be sending Hanako Hide and most likely Saeko Hyuuga to your ranks. You're compassion and your level-headed nature are trustworthy in a position of leadership. As of this moment, Gen Uchiha is undertaking a job at the Northern Mines, the new startup project to help the village with self-sustainability. Go to the mines and seek out Sorasu, the foreman. Tell him you're another recruit I sent along to help out for the time being." The elder Hatake ordered as he nodded to the young man and placed a hand momentarily on his shoulder, his demeanor stoic, but his eyes showing pride in the boy's upbringing so far.
Turning to Nanami he crouched softly so he was on height level with her, his hand ruffling her wild, long, free white hair, before pulling a hair-tie from his gauntlet which he used to tie her hair back and tucked it into the back of her shirt. His free hand tossed an ingot of chakra steel into the forge and he looked at her, his eyes intent on hers as he pulled out a book of basic instruction, a method to make gears and pipes. He smiled and shook his head.
"Focus your sorrow into the craft. Take the hammer and focus all of your sadness into making something. Let not one life leave this world, without something new being made. I need you to make gears, much as the ones I've made and lain out on the table. Use them to make your measurements. A single ingot should make you five of them. I want you to make thirty." The Hatake said with a smile as he placed his palm onto her back, between her shoulders and pointed her in the direction of the forge.
"You will be helping me make something great for the village. Something to prevent these atrocities from ever happening again." He promised the girl as he set her off, then walking to the two ANBU who were keeping the red-haired woman in their gaze.
"Yes, they serve to keep us hidden, so that our enemies may never know our identities and seek our families for revenge. They also serve to make little girls like you ask questio... Lord Hokage! This woman had a map to Konoha from Takumi. She also bore an aged letter with your seal placed upon it." The ANBU spoke in quick report, her demeanor shifting entirely as the Hokage approached, from snarky to a salute.
"You're an outsider in these lands, but, my seal... Nym? By the Bodhisattva, Nym Armistead!" The Hokage chuckled as the name, and experiences under the stars of a foreign country came back to him.

The hyuuga closed her eyes as Masahiro ruffled her hair, taking a deep breath in. It seemed that whenever she was lost and needed direction, he was there to guide her. He sort of felt like the father she had always wanted, the kind that helped shape your life instead of break it down. She had great admiration for the man, he was a good leader, a good teacher. Somewhat calmed down, the young woman made her way over to the area she would work in, taking the book along with her.
Nanami sat down where she was instructed to and opened the book, taking a look carefully through it. Inside was everything she needed to know; technique, instructions, even tips on how to make her time forging more efficient. A glimmer began in Nanami's eyes once more, replacing the blankness that had been there. Nanami loved learning, she loved obtaining new knowledge and new techniques; Masahiro had picked a good job to give her. Nanami made sure that she had the instructions down before setting the book aside and moving to the gears Masahiro had made. She would need to take the measurements of the gears; their diameter and their thickness, along with the size of the teeth.
Nanami brought a piece of paper over with her along with a measuring tool and a pencil. The white haired woman began working on getting the measurements of the gears, trying her best to ignore the growing feeling of jealousy rising inside her. She didn't want to admit it, but she easily fell prey to jealousy, especially when it came to Masahiro. It was irrational, and not fitting for a warrior like her. Her eyes flicked up from her work to look at the red haired female she hadn't noticed before; there was something in the air between her and the Hatake, but she couldn't put her finger on it. It made her heart beat erratically; would this woman replace her in Masa's life? Would he forget about her? Nanami shook her head, smacking the side of it a few times to get a grip on herself before gathering the measurements she took and moving back over to the forge.

The short red head had managed to keep herself distracted for a little while attempting to make conversation, granted everything was interesting here. Shed observe the other two upon arrival, the white haired girl looked very distressed. 'Hope she doesn't end up hurting herself' the redhead would think, and soon noticing the other, a boy who seemed about as stoic and serious as a man maybe twice his age. The white haired girl looked like she was probably going to break down crying at any moment. Looking for their leader seemed like they needed something akin to guidance or tasks, although the boy seemed more preoccupied with finding something to do that didn't bore him. They both did have that white hair maybe all three were related? Shed ask about that later right now she was a fair bit distracted looking around. The comment about her being a little girl did manage to get the short freckled red head angry very quickly "Huh I see but...hey!!! Now see here I'm not-" she wanted to continue and fight that would soon vanish at the sight of him. Her old friend and the very reason she had traveled so much. Ryoku made it to the Academia after a short bit of catching Chloe up to speed on what was going on. Catching Masahiro he asked about the student that would have come through. "Masa have you seen a young Uchiha pass through here, most likely with his sharingan awoken? I'm mostly concerned about his well being. He was beat up pretty badly from training. Also concerned about what is the current state of the village. If it is even safe for students to be running around unaccompanied." Chloe had come behind Ryoku and gave a subtle bow to her Kage as they approached.
Noticing that Ryoku went right to business with their Kage. It seemed as though formality was something he would have to retrain. Smirking she extended the respects for him as he spoke.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep.
Kazumi followed behind Ryoku and the pretty woman who had joined them. Once inside the massive building serving as the temporary office for the Hokage, she bowed to said leader of the village, flabbergasted that he was so blunt in speaking with the Lord Hokage. She gave nothing away, however, and remained silent for the time being, not caring to incur the wrath of higher ranked shinobi. She had learned, out in the wilderness, that silence often benefited more than loud talking and boasting ever did. Actions spoke louder than words and all that. Kazumi stuck close to the woman, still unaware of her name, and observed everything going on around her. There was a white haired girl, clearly distraught but trying to remain strong by circumventing her grief, a tactic Kazumi herself was familar with after the death of her parents and the loss of her brother, and a redhead hanging on the Hokage, tugging at his hair? Kazumi was surprised at the boldness of the foreigner, but again, said nothing, and gave nothing away with her completely neutral expression. The Senju wondered where the Uchiha went off to this time, but didn't ask, not overly concerned with the boy who was supposed to be her teammate. Out in the wilderness, searching for her brother, she had no time for niceties and kindness; things like that nearly got her killed before she learned that lesson. Sure, she would protect anyone for Konohagakure, but she wouldn't just let a fellow shinobi live blinded by delusions of grandeur or superiority, pride came before the fall after all.

As the excitable young woman leapt atop Masahiro, his left arm swung out to catch her, wrapping it with a grip beneath her rump as he pulled her in closer to him, letting the fierce redhead tug at his hair a little bit as he looked to the others, albeit somewhat obscured by the tangle of red before his eyes. He smiled to Chloe as she offered the proper respects one would expect, however.
"What a sad day, Nara-kōhai, when a student no longer refers to his teacher as such. Chloe, however, you are graceful as ever. The young Uchiha came to see me here before I sent him on for medical treatment. Since that time, he has returned from medical treatment and I have... Hold on a moment." The Hokage chuckled to the woman in his arms and pulling her down gently to set her to the ground, his eyes now staring at Ryoku over the woman's head.
"Uchiha, Gen was sent to the mines to work off some of his excess frustration. I think, for the sake of both the young man, and yourself, it is best if I reassign him to another unit. I will be assigning a new Graduate and young Kyo Satetsu to your unit, for education, however, he is currently part of an existing operation. Once he returns I'll send him your way." He said as he patted the little redhead in front of him on the head.
His eyes then fell to Kazumi, taking in the details of the woman as he did so.
"Miss Senju, your sister is currently in the hospital, your brother has also resurfaced. I had figured you may have been contacted already, I take it you being here means that you haven't been contacted. Hozuki blacked out during an operation with her squad, ANBU escorted her back to the hospital. When Ryouichi returned and spoke to me, he asked both of your locations and I told him Hozuki's and yours. I figured he would find you on the way to the hospital." Masahiro sighed and looked off in the direction of the hospital.

"Understood." Klaus gently brushed the Hokage's hand away from his shoulder as he turned for the door. His new family was still a strange concept to him, and he wasn't sure how to handle it.

Nanami moved to the forge and grabbed one of the ingots that were softening inside it, placing it on to the anvil before using one of the many tools available to cut it in to five equal pieces. She then began to flatten one of them out slightly before trying to stretch the metal itself by working it. Nana looked up at the red haired female shouting the word angel, only to be blessed by the sight of Masahiro holding the female up while she clung to him. The young hyuuga missed the piece of metal she was hammering and the sharp sound of hardened metal against hardened metal rung throughout the room as Nanami hit the anvil with the hammer she was working with. The white haired female cussed under her breath and continued working, passively aggressively grabbing the metal and beginning to round it over the end of the anvil. The young girl looked at the anvil herself as she worked, it seemed she hadn't done any damage to it. "At least there's that..." She grumbled.
Nanami then took the metal off the horn of the anvil and began flattening it. Once she was sure it was of the right diameter, she then began doing the same with the other pieces of the ingot. While she worked, the female just muttered somewhat crazily under her breath, taking out her frustrations at herself for not understanding her emotions and the root of her jealousy, and the anger at herself for not making things up with her father before he died, out on the metal. "Stupid beautiful exotic woman taking my sensei from me..." she whispered under her breath, cranking out gears like a machine, "Who does she think she is, coming in here with her wonderful sounding accent..." Nanami finished making the gears themselves, then worked on grinding the teeth of them. With her emotions fueling her actions, she finished in no time and soon Nanami was standing over five finished gears.

The small redhead would hug her 'angel' tightly one last time before he'd let her down. His grabbing her rump was a bit of a happy bonus too. She was happy to see him again, he was a lot busier now it seemed. He was definitely a man of importance and it looked like time never stood still for him for an instant. She'd be more than happy to wait until he was done with a few others to speak to him again. His hand on her head petting her gently made her feel at home. She watched as the white haired boy left, brushing Masahiros hand of his shoulder. The boy seemed very distant, she knew shed probably see him again and he'd probably be equally stoic and distant. Shed also observe at the others that had entered the area, a couple and a black haired woman. 'Huh lots of people, this is definitely a big village' the red head would think as she maintained her spot, moving only if he needed her to move. Once he was done speaking she'd look up at him with a smile, trying to distract him a bit from what seemed to be a very stressful situation as he stared of to the distance. There are those within the village who wish to subvert our ways and who seem to think that cutting the head off of the snake is the wisest course of direction. Our ANBU have already determined and found several different incendiary devices across the village and neutralized them. In this time, I can only ask vigilance of you. But, between the capture of one such person, who has been retrieved from the confines beneath the tower after detonation, and one of my most trusted shinobi on the heels of one of their outposts, we've returned pressure upon them. I will consult with you, should the need arise again, Lord Fifth." Masahiro stated as he dismissed the pair into the security that the village was, at the very least, on heightened alert, but all potential enemies in the walls plans, for now, had been foiled.
The Hatake stepped out into the courtyard and his eyes immediately fell to Nym. He looked into her eyes for a few moments, his bright red offset by her cool blues until he unfastened his Konoha Flak Jacket, pressing his hand to his chest there would be a sudden bright light and a flare of his chakra materialization as his armor shifted from that of the Konoha Shinobi into a suit of Knightly armor. His swords shifted to the belt line of the armor, and he drew his tachi.

She watched as the man unfastened his jacket and donned a suit of armor. "How could I forget with all the trainin' we did?" she'd ask, her demeanor growing more serious and focused. She unsheathed her own kriegsmesser. As he charged towards her, she began her own stride for him from the right. She would take note he was lacking any defense on his left side, feinting the movement for a moment before darting to his left, spotting what she believed to be an opening she would charge twisting a thrust toward his torso.
