Atsuko was about to respond to the woman's question and Roxas after he had finished taking a sip of the now delivered green tea when suddenly he was interrupted, causing him to choke on his drink. In a coughing fit he was left rather helpless until it was already to late and the damage was done. With tears in his eyes he could do nothing but let out a sigh, and another cough, of defeat.
"This is Tsu. And she's not my date!" Atsuko exclaimed, actually blushing at the statement before struggling to regain his composure by clearing his throat.
"I bumped into her on the streets and turns out shes a mercenary looking for work. I brought her here to tell her a bit about us.
Tsu this is Phoenix and Turtle. Other members of the Shishin. That noise you heard over the radio was our fourth, Tiger. Speaking of which"
"That's good. I need to give you your key when you get the chance. When you have the time to meet up just let me know"
These words were said into the radio in response to what Roxas had said. With the subject in mind Atsuko reached into his pocket and passed over a key to Artemis and one to Houhou without any real need for explanation.
With business taken care of he could finally repay attention to Tsu. "You said you wanted to join us? I think thats the first time I've heard someone ask. Well I will say we aren't entirely against people joining us we ARE very close knit, and cautious about how close we let people get. You seem quite nice but in this day and age you always have to be careful right?
So what I CAN offer is an opportunity. Houou couldn't contain himself as he watched Artemis tease Atsuko. The entire time he wore a huge smile with a gaping space between his top and bottom rows of pearly white teeth, as if he could burst out into laughter at any moment. It was a refreshing feeling, only the members of Shishin could evoke such joy in his heart. Then suddenly Houou was handed a key, and curiosity struck him.
"done already are we? You spared no time my friend."
Houou said with a grin of anticipation. He had known what the key was for and what it had meant for their team.
"This is a huge step in the right direction. I would share important news with you but it can wait until a later time."
Houou said shooting a blank stare at the girl beside Atsuko. He didn't give off a sense of intimidation or lust, simply curiosity.

When the tea and rice buns were finally delivered, Tsubame thanked the waitress with a smile, taking the cup delicately in her hands and bringing it to her lips. Luckily, she was able to finish her sip before a feminine voice called out for Dragon rather obnoxiously, no doubt attracting attention of those surrounding them for the moment. Eyes flickered over to the source to view two masked figures, one male and female if one were to go by choice of attire. She couldn't help but smile at the woman's jokes about the two dating, while having mixed feelings for Ryu's reaction. It was quite a sight, seeing such a stoic, business-like personality just moment's ago become incredibly flustered like this. At the end of it all, a light giggle did escape from behind the cup still held up to her face, followed by a comedic sweat drop after being called a mercenary.
"I-I'm not..." She muttered against the cup, barely audible. Yet, there was no use in trying to fight it. Other matters were more important at the moment, so she simply sighed.
So, there was a Phoenix, Turtle, Tiger, and Dragon in the Shishin. The names were a very interesting choice, and each apparently had masks that corresponded with that. She took notice of the two, Turtle and Phoenix, looking her way. Although there was no specific intent to their gaze, she could feel the weight behind them, as if they were studying her. It didn't make her nervous, but she did turn to face them both, making small eye contact and smiling before returning her attention to Dragon as he began to speak. From his words, she may have overstepped a boundary, as his offer initially was for a partnership of sorts, but becoming a member so to speak, was not completely out of the question, either. It was simply something she'd have to earn, if they saw her fit to join. The group was definitely close, almost having a family-like atmosphere about them given how comfortable their interactions seemed to be. Tsu honestly would hate to impose on that. There were certainly some downsides to being a complete outsider.
"I completely understand. As I said before, your goals to achieve peace among these lands is one I'm willing to serve. I'd be happy to work alongside the Shishin as an ally." Even if things went south as far as joining the Shishin, Tsu still had her own dream to fulfill, but she was never one to be selfish.

Artemis accepted the key and slipped it into her knapsack. She inclined her head at Atsuko's introduction to his "not" date, Tsu. A mercenary could be beneficial, but it made Artemis wonder if the outsider did it out of a joy for killing or necessity for money. The blonde figured she could find out later - for now, she didn't need to kill the mood more than necessary.
Artemis was overjoyed to hear Tsu accept an offer to be an ally. That was great! They could all go on missions together, guard the lands together, purchase necessities together... okay, maybe Artemis was extra excited to have a lady friend so she wasn't stuck around guys all the time. Sometimes a feminine spirit just needed to be around another.
"Pleasure to have ya!" She responded, with more enthusiasm than she meant to reveal. "I know Turtle here has some plans and I've got an envelope to follow, but if this is all the business we have at the time being and you two lovebir- uh, partners are determined to, ah, have some privacy-" Artemis paused suggestively but managed to collect enough willpower to resist a wink, "then I think we ought to get out of your hair." She was pleased to see Atsuko again, especially since it appeared he was healing from the glass wolf encounter, and she loved being out and about in the town, but she felt like she was falling short of her partners and she wanted to impress Houou's contact as soon as possible.
Atsuko was quite glad that the two seemed to like her and that the first meeting had gone, somewhat, well. With her acceptance to be an ally Atsuko clapped his hands together excitedly and would finish off his meal swiftly. "That's alright. We should get going as well. Tsu I have a contact in Sasagi who's rather good for work, we can get a few missions from him to start off with. Unless you have any business to take care of in town of first" Atsuko stated readying his gear and straightening out his clothes. So far he was more then excited to be able to work with another rogue that was outside of their group. His short time with gray had been pleasant and Tsu seemed just as nice, even interested in joining them. There was a nagging thought that kept to the back of his mind but Atsuko would worry about that after they were done in sasagi.
Before the pair would set off, unless Tsu thought otherwise, Atsuko would look to Artemis and Houhou. "Be sure to fill me in on whatever information you have once you set out, my ears are always open. By the way Tiger is still doing fine, though I need to catch him to give him his key. Last I heard he probably got a bit scuffed up but he survived well enough. You to keep in touch alright, stay safe out there" Atsuko finished with. So far they had all done very well for themselves, especially considering all that was against them. This was only with four of them as well, with more members who knows what they could accomplish.

Phoenix was rather enthusiastic about Tsu's partnership with the Shishin, and that made Tsubame pretty happy as well. She smiled in response to Phoenix, "Thank you, Phoenix!" Tsu's attitude was a little more upbeat than normal, and she realized that only after speaking. Phoenix's energy was a little contagious, but overall, she seemed really nice. A potential friendship in the future? The young Samurai could only hope. The group was ready to disperse, going about whatever business they needed to attend to, while she headed to a place called Sasagi with Dragon to receive work. With all of her belongings already on her person, and not much going for her at the moment in town, she felt she was ready to go. "Not at all. I'm ready when you are, Dragon. Good luck, you two." She'd nod, finishing the last of her tea, and setting it off to the side of the table so it could be picked up later. Here she was, already traveling to another city only after being in Takumi for a short time. Tsu was excited for the adventure, but only hoped one day she'd return here to explore more, and see how Kaza and Sakana are doing.

The atmosphere was very thick for Houou, even though Atsuko and Artemis seemed to warm up to this new girl rather fast. However, Houou would never question the judgement of Atsuko after he and Roxas saved Houou all those months ago. But for this reason, Houou was extremely protective over his family. No one would get too close to the other members and not have Houou keep a sharp eye on them. For now he would trust in Atsuko and carry on as usual. Forcing a slight smile, but not revealing his teeth, Houou would bid a farewell to the rest of the group.
"There is business I have with several village shinobi, it's is important that we talk about this in.... a more secure surrounding. I will radio you all upon my return from this mission. I suppose I will also acquire another radio for your friend here."
Houou said glancing around the Inn only to end, making eye contact with Tai once more. Being the only masked man in the bar showed how paranoid of outsiders Houou was, a trait he would need to work on as not to draw further attention. Though this was how Houou was raised, to operate in the shadows and suspect everyone around him.
"It was a pleasure to meet you Tsu, I hope that soon we will have the opportunity to get better acquainted."
Houou gave a slight bow and nodded to Atsuko. He was off to find the group of Kiri shinobi that should be lurking in town. Leaving the Inn he placed a hand on Artemis' should signaling his departure.
Atsuko reminded them that Tiger was fine, but also that he had some business to attend to. Everyone was rather busy at the moment, leaving Artemis with jitters about getting something to do. It didn't go unnoticed that Houou was less welcoming to Tsu, but that came with the territory. Artemis was a little more trusting considering that Atsuko wasn't dead yet in this woman's presence, and that the woman didn't show any sign of malice herself.
Tsu's warm response almost caused Artemis to embrace the other woman, but that wasn't something most people were comfortable with. Especially because they were strangers, still. Especially because they were all outsiders and lacked any village protection or genuine law enforcement as back up.
Oh well. Artemis would have another girl on the team yet!
"Have fun on your adventures." Artemis looked in turn to all of them, sending a curt nod Houou's way in response his hand on her shoulder. She left with him, letting Tsu and Atsuko collect their things and leave too.
Theo refilled Yoshi’s whisky glass when she tapped it, chuckling quietly. When she finally finished her desserts and sat back and stretched, he glanced over her again with a softl smile as they both sipped their drinks. When she asked if they should head for the inn, Theo thought for a moment, “Yea, I guess…” he’d say as he stood up and grabbed the whisky bottle, “We paid for the bottle, might as well take what’s left with us.” He’d comment as he looked at it, it was still a bit over half full. As they made their way out, Theo stopped at the guard and got their weapons back, strapping his swords back to his belt and taking his staff in hand for the moment.the guard didn’t need to know that he had had around a hundred projectile weapons with him inside. Once they had their stuff and were beyond the gates, Theo looked down at Yoshi, “To the Inn we go.” He’d say with a smile and a laugh.
Once they arrived at the inn, Theo would walk up to the counter, “ Can we get a room for the next two nights?” He’d ask quietly to the attendant, out of Yoshi’s earshot. The attendant nodded with a cheerful smile and wrote down their room number and their names before handing Theo a pair of keys and a couple Yukata to use for the hot spring “Theres several towels in the room already, we just give these out at check in so we can make sure they’ll fit the guests properly.” The attendant explained.
Once they found the room and got inside, Theo would look around and pull up a chair, setting his weapons aside for the time being before dropping his robe and removing his armor. Just wearing a simple T shirt and pants underneath with his boots. “So… how should we go about getting the spring to ourselves..?” He’d ask as he looked out the window at the hot spring, it was fairly crowded with guests. Theo chuckled softly, he really didn’t mind sharing the space, he’d been to the Suna springs with people before over the years, but if he could get them to just himself and Yoshi, why not L

Yoshi laughed when he took the bottle, "I mean I agree, it's just funny cause that's how the other night ended up like it was." She said with a smile towards Theo as they made their way to the guard. She got few things back but she wasn't packed like Theo. Putting the brawler's knuckles into the bag for now, she would need to think of some way to pocket them. Maybe with her armor, she could get a useful belt that can help her hold different things. Did they have that at the stores today? For the life of her, she couldn't fully remember.
Yoshi waited for Theo as she glanced around at the Inn. Seems rather fancy and a bit formal. Her pale hues saw that they already had dinner and it was a good thing that they went to the barracks, while she was sure that the food here was good, she just rather be able to order what she wanted instead of what was served. Especially if she had no idea the next time they will be out and about. He leads her to a room as she placed down her bag and sat down as he started to remove the armor, weapons, and who knows what else that the man holds as she smiled softly towards him, it was still odd to see him in a t-shirt and pants. When he walked to the window, she got up and glanced out as well. "Hmm. Well, no one wants to be in the springs if the weather is bad. So.... With us being both raiton and fuuton, you have suiton, I don't see why we can't make it inhabilitable. Or you rather do the ghost route?" Yoshi asked towards him.
Theo smiled back at Yoshi, tilting his head slightly, “Something wrong? You seem to be looking at me a little funny…” he’d ask as she finished putting her bag down and getting settled in for their stay. When she asked if he wanted to make a storm to run people off, or if he wanted to go the ghost route, he thought for a minute. He wanted to surprise her with the storm thing was why he went a,one with her ghost idea, even if it was really funny sounding.. after a bit, he decided what to do, “Let’s do the ghost thing. We can go ahead and rinse off up here and get changed into the Yukata, then you go find a good place to start spooking folks out of the springs. I’ll be down in a couple minutes.” He’d say with a smile

Yoshi shook her head, "Nothing's wrong, was just thinking that you look different without all the set up." Yoshi explained, kept it simple and sweet as she figured that Theo would understand why she mentioned that. There was a bit of a pause as she waited for Theo to make his decision. When he said he'll be down in a couple of minutes, her eyebrow rose. "Why? Suddenly want privacy? I've already seen you naked." With a roll of her eyes, she headed to rinse off first. Dried off slightly, she put on the yukata and slipped her foot into the wooden sandals and made her way down to the springs, and waited for Theo, wondering what got him all body shy all the sudden.
Theo smirked and laughed softly at her comment on him looking different without his gear on, “Yea… I guess I don’t just dress casually much around the village… maybe I should, could set something up to be able to summon my armor in a pinch, maybe….” When she raised an eyebrow and questioned why he was seemingly being shy all of a sudden, commenting that she’s already seen him naked, Theo chuckled, “nah, I just wanna do something real quick before I head down. Once she went to rinse off and left in her robe and sandals, Theo couldn’t help but think of how good she looked in general, even in something so basic as he went about his idea. Creating a shadow clone and putting about half his chakra into it so it could maintain what he wanted, Theo would tell it to meditate on the saddest and most angering moments in his history and then use the weather control jutsu., but wait until he left the room. Theo would then walk over to one of the side tables and focus a bit of his chakra. A vase of opaque ice would form out of thin aim followed by a dozen stems rising out of it and forming icy roses in full bloom, he even added a little of his lightning chakra, making them shine dimly with a white light. Once his creation was done, Theo would set the vase somewhere that Yoshi would see them skin as she came back in. With that done, he’d grab a quick shower and put his Yukata and sandals on, grabbing a towel and he nodded to the clone before leaving the room.
Once his original left, the clone would meditate in his feelings after learning of Sonyo’s death, the multiple attacks on Suna, his father’s abandonment of his family and village until he was seething with rage, tears running down his cheeks and finally performed the jutsu he was told to use. Thunder would boom loudly as dark storm clouds rolled in and the ran began hard and heavy. Lightning would be seen arcing through the clouds, occasionally striking down at buildings and trees and stuff, each strike reverberating with a rolling boom.
As Theo caught up with Yoshi near the entrance to the hot spring, he’d see the first few people starting to leave.it, all see,isn’t concerned about the sudden severity of the storm.”Heh Yoshi. Sorry I took a bit, how’s the plan goingL” he’d say cheerfully as he walked up, a towel thrown over his shoulder.

Yoshi heard the thunder as she gasped softly. Her head turned towards the windows as people were now coming in from the storm. Guess they don't need to do the ghost idea anymore. Theo met up with her as she squinted at him, wondering if he had anything to do with this but he seemed cheerful. "Did you have anything to do with this, Theo?" She crossed her arms, pale eyes piercing into his heterochromatic hues. The rain started to pour down and with the sudden darkness, the inside of the inn had seemingly got dimmer.
Theo would watch as Yoshi crossed her arms and squinted at him, asking if he had anything to do with the sudden storm. Laughing, he shook his head, “Nah, a storm like that would require some powerful anger and sadness… right now I’m not sure I could be much happier.” He said with a smile “Let’s just go enjoy the storm and the spring.” He’d say cheerfully. As he lead her towards the spring entrance, moving against the general flow of the people, an attendant would stop him, “I’m sorry, sir, but the hot spring is closed due to the severe storm outside… it’s not safe.” Theo would smile and shrug, “Iwe’ll take our chances, Ma’am.. don’t worry, I won’t hold any of you liable if something happens to us.” After a little back and forth, and some odd looks from the people exiting the spring, the attendant relented and they were allowed to enter. Theo went to turn into the men’s locker room before looking back at Yoshi, “See ha inutside.” He’d say happily.
Once outside, Theo laughed a bit, his clone had conjured up one hell of a storm. Walking with his towel around his waist, he’d kick his sandals off and step into the pool, taking a seat along the edge, sighing softly as he rested his arms along the deck and his head back as he waited for Yoshi to come out..
