The response to Kagerou's inquiry was almost immediate. Two figures emerged from the area where the docks had been, now reduced to some sticks hanging over a violently surging sea, a sinking ship covered in the carcass of a large bird in the background. As the figures drew near, it would become obvious that these were a couple of the proctors.
"You're from one of the four-person fights, aren't you?" one of them asked, a sense of dread in their voice. "What happened to the rest of your team? Did everyone escape the ambush?"
The other one interrupted by shushing the first.
"The evacuation ship has already left," they stated calmly. "You need to leave immediately, if not sooner. What is your exit strategy?"

While Kagerou deviated making way for the lodgings seeking survivors and other stragglers Toso made way for the dock where in there was a sinking ship and an avian carcass speeding up said ships capsizing. Whether or not any other proctors remained at said dock they would see what could be the equivalent of a large grey bullet shoot into the sea causing a visible and sizable splash. Some heavy focus and a string of handsigns later and whoever was watching where the bullet man entered would see the sea begin to shift even more so on top of the already shifting waves from the collapsing island.
Parting the waves four tentacles rose followed by what would then be the head of a huge squid sporting a pair of trademark familiar glasses. Although it also appeared there was a vein of struggle manifesting on its crown. He couldn't keep pushing himself like this, as it was beginning to take its toll on his body, but if there would be any attempts to salvage this ship the bird had to go and for his sake he could only hope that it was dead and not merely unconscious. Two tentacles struggled to maintain and keep the ship afloat for the time being while the other four ensnared and wrapped around the avians four main limbs to be rid of it. Less there were any complications he would free the ship of its crippling load and cast it aside like a beached whale on the shore. If the worse case scenario occurred he could only hope that someone else had followed him and that they would be able to prevent anyone or anything from interfering.
In Kagerou's situation she needed only to look outside from the sound of the greater rumbling to see that the former squidman volunteer was enacting his attempt at an exit strategy. Perhaps she'd be able to draw something from it to inform the proctors. Toso's plan was at it's core to utilize this ship. Assuming they all gathered and so long as he could maintain keeping the thing from sinking entirely, the girl who claimed she could use Mokuton could patch up any holes if there were any, the green haired girl could direct the evacuees, Unk-nee and the the other one accompanying her could aid in unforeseen circumstances, and once everything was up and running the proctors could navigate and lead the way back to the fishing village. This was of course the most ideal situation. Assuming everyone could coordinate themselves before he ran out of chakra that is.

Things seem that Toso really beat her to the punch of setting the boat up. By the time Unki arrived tides were rushing in and a boat was midst launch to the beach. She didn't know how much energy the squid spends to become a larger... squid, but with Unki having already making the same offer to one with plenty in reserves then she has no problem giving the same offer to another: rainbow gumballs!
The girl collects another gumball and trudges further into nearly, shin-high tides. Unki wouldn't get too close, notably if she didn't actually have to, and would wave her hand holding the candy above her head. "Tosooo! Here!" When securing even the slightest of his attention Unki would throw the candy to the nearest, free, appendage and shout in a demanding shrill: "EAT IT!" before taking a second to form an appropriate handseal to step onto the water's surface and wades back to inspect the condition of the boat[.
The same candy she ate earlier, more like sucked on as it bordered the boundary of being frozen, left her off feeling a little better. Based on her idea that a transformation jutsu of that caliber, the candy might be useful while out of direct combat, given, that he isn't working anymore jutsu. In between reviews of the boat's hull, she would glance over her shoulder should someone chose to show up anticipating both good or malign intentions to follow.

Shinji arrived though there wasn't much he could do in this situation now. He didn't have the techniques to help repair a boat, and it wasn't as though they had nails laying around. The best he could do for the time being was keep his eyes on the horizon and prepare for trouble.
For now, the only ones to respond to Kagerou's shouts were two proctors coming from the docks. The dread and urgency they expressed were all too relatable, and at least at first, Kagerou could think of little to say to ease their worries. Exit strategy? She was only present to hear the beginnings of one plan, and it involved the powers of those she barely knew, which made it all the harder to be sure. What she could say with some modicum of certainty, though, was that everyone had escaped the ambush safely, so she started with that, "Yes sir. My group has escaped the ambush safely with the help of the chuunin volunteer, Toso. They are-"
Fortunately, Kagerou was interrupted by a very large splash, both in terms of noise and size, coming from the docks. <… Giant squid?> she guessed. From where she stood, she could see what looked like tentacles and wings peeking out over the tops of the trees. She wasn't sure what was going on at the docks, but it pretty much confirmed her giant squid guess. Piecing together everything, Kagerou pointed to the docks and reported, "Speak of the devil, or kraken in this case. I believe Toso is currently working on… something at the docks. I heard he has the ability to turn into a giant squid. The other three examinees are probably with him. They'll know the details of the escape plan. I split off from them early to make sure there wasn't anyone left behind at the resort. Sirs, Could you tell me if you know of any others that are not unaccounted for? Raichi arrived at the docks with Xion tucked safe away in his arms. It seemed he arrived before Kisuke and Fang. Hopefully they will make it safely, it appeared they took the longer route. Whether Raichi liked the feeling of Xion in his arms or not was unkown, but what was certain was that it was evident he had no intention of letting her go, unless she insisted. "Tch, seems we're late." With a scan of the area Raichi got a quick headcount, excluding the squid. "Uhmm.. Ay yo, proctor. Is that squid thing with us? It doesn't look like he's trying to break the ship. Also, we still have 3 missing." The Senju gestured behind him back towards the center of the island with his head. The eyeballed the set of giant tentacles wrangling the sinking ship for a moment, then turned their attention back to Kagerou.
"The group at the village arena hasn't returned in any capacity," one informed her. "No one's been able to get into the broadcast room for a while, but if anyone were alive in there, we'd be able to tell. This group is almost everyone, I think, including the people who evacuated earlier and assuming the rest of your teams is coming. If you're looking to organize a rescue party, make it quick; we're not looking at a long time until this entire place is destabilized."
When Raichi arrived, the second of the two proctors would address him, since there was no real reason for them both to talk to the same person at the same time.
"Seem the squid's ours, yeah. Since you can use Mokuton, go patch it up and we'll watch your back," they told him.

Kisuke arrived along with everyone and his partner was still carrying thier opponent. The shinsetsu girl, it's not like he could leave his cousin on the island. He looked over at what was going on. He wouldn't really be able to help in this situation so they just kept watch over the area if any monsters tried to attack them then he would be able to smell them before hand hopefully. Kisuke looked over at Xion."You okay?"
After Unki's inspection of the hull she found a handful of good dents and a few spots note-worthy for patching, she would turn around at the sound of someone vouching to repair the ship. Building a new one was a fine idea too given they had the energy and Unki's observation of the boat was more lacking than she thought. She would wave her hand, motioning for the assumed Senju to come. "Hurry hurry!"

The bird showing no signs of life was sucessfully removed and thrown onto a crumbling beach. Effectively with four freed tentacles Toso was fully capable of securing the ship preventing any future cases of capsizing. The ships wounds now all readily visible for repair. Glasses shining at a thrown object which was unfathomably small comparably. It found itself lodged in one of the suction cups as Toso's size and manipulation of the waters and ship made him hard of hearing.
The ship could now be safely boarded for venturing and for repairs though it still needed repairs before it was sea worthy. As soon as these repairs are made they'd be done with this island.

Converting the vegetation into raw materials, it didn't take long for planks of wood to start spitting out of the ground and slapping into the boat, sliding in where planks were missing or patches needed filling while lowkey slightly remodeling part of the inside of the ship to be more house-like. In just a few brief moments things were said and done and the now house-ship-boat-thing would be repaired and seaworthy once more with renewed vigour. Raichi would then help Xion make her way on board and would wait for everyone to get on before setting sail back to the fishing village. If necessary, Kagerou can perform a riskier, instant swap on the fly without the readjustment period, but these swaps can only last for up to five [5] posts and disables the Sharingan, which needs to recover from the strain, for twice [x2] the number of posts that the swap lasted for. Techniques learned with the 'To Copy' Sharingan ability, which can be swapped out, are not forgotten but must be retrained every time Kagerou safely swaps to the 'To Copy' ability. Blind Resolution Personal Attribute [ Xion was born blind, a curse placed upon her for her parents' faults. For that reason, she will never experience sight. No ocular implant can restore her vision and even genjutsu cannot imitate the sensation of sight for her. In exchange, being blind has rewired Xion's brain to enhance her other senses, primarily the ability for her hearing and chakra sensing to pick out minute details (but not necessarily an increase in what both senses pick up) but also her smell and even touch to gather what little details they can. Using very basic echolocation mixed in with other minute details like the feel of the air on her skin, Xion has a rough idea of her surroundings up to 5 meters away; e.g. enough to pick out someone/thing rushing to her but not enough to understand the details of the approach beyond size, general shape, distance, and direction.
