He stepped through the portal and into a much colder climate. Karuto ran a hand through his beard as he tended to do when making important decisions. There were a few people around him, but he didn't know them nor had the time to make their acquaintance. He needed to get into the fight. Inclining his head, he took a few moments to listen to the clamor of battle. After deciding where the most violent bouts seemed to be coming from he took off in that direction, speeding away as fast as his feet carried him.

__Maric struggled to keep up with his new shield mate, completely unsure of just what would be a respectable distance to keep from a woman without impending on her honor in the eyes of Sol. Catching up to her in the roads the boy kept his bat red face looking on ahead while addressing her. "Apologies for the delay my Lady. Come, let us make haste to the village." His words felt rigid but Maric forced feeling aside as he prepared himself for the battle to come. All emotions and thoughts were burned away so that he could truly become the avatar of burning vengeance.

Sheva came to a sliding halt proceeded by a massive gust of wind. She was excited that she was able to get away from Arashi. It had been since her inception to Arashi she was able to leave. Though everywhere was a mess, she was going to do her part to change it. She looked around and saw a familiar massive stature of a man walking away. She laughed and turned around to see a masked kenoichi and another walking away; she waved and walked closer “ Hey, where are you headed? “. As she walked closer, she began to make out the features of the shinobi.

A massive man emerged from the portal as she watched him stood for a bit and scratched with his beard. Was he scratching or was he thinking? He seemed to take off in a mad dash to somewhere. Finally, one of her teammates appeared and his face was read. A frown appeared and he even called her a lady. "Um are you okay? Your face is-" Annnnd he took off. Nozomi had to blink in few times in confusion. Her body turned to follow him until a massive gust of wind got her tensed up and she was ready to attack. Oh. It was a fellow Arashi soldier. Maybe. She got close and asked where she was heading. Nozomi looked left and right to see if she was talking to her. Oh. She was. "To Seizan, and I need to go now, one of my teammates went ahead." With that, she ran down the road to follow her teammate.
Hirukooo would appear on the road along with everyone else that had recently been dispatched from Arashigakure. Looking around in a way that made it look like he had no idea where he was or what was going on,Hiruko gathered what info there was on the attacks in the different towns nearby.He could hear the loud clang of mining equipment flying around and the loud footsteps of something big, ‘Yea... Don’t think I want to run into whatever’s stomping around the mining town...’ he would think to himself as he walked away from the portal that had brought them there. As he walked quickly, he’d feel his staff bump soft piles of things in front of him, “Corpses...” he’d say to himself, “Not much I can do for them...,” Then he’d notice a weak bit of something a few meters up as he heard a wounded person call for help in a low enough voice that most wouldn’t be able to hear them. Running up to the person, Hiruko ran a hand over their forehead to confirm the existence of a shinobi headband. “Hold on,I’ll see what I can do for you, he’d say quietly to the man. Holding his hands over the person’s body,he’d sit there for a few minutes, “A few broken ribs, feels like you got some senbon stuck in you too...” The young blind man would get to work, using his chakra to gently remove the senbon from the man’s back and arms. Once that was done, he would wave his hands over the wounds and extend his chakra to speed up the healing, feeling the puncture wounds close up within a few seconds and the broken ribs start to heal as he asked the man to take a deep breath to try to push the ribs to make them set right, guiding them with his hands as he did so.Once he had this person stabilized, Hiruko would continue down the road, hollering at any other shinobi he heard” Any wounded you find from our side, bring them here to me if you can...”

Two energized, spinning fans whipped cleanly through two ugly creatures of the enemies group. Beasts that were far from what she would expect the Empire or Toso to employ. Unki was feeling confident that her fans were proving themselves so useful that she went on to sweep over the next three. The next three targets, however, were human.
[Targeting 3 C-rank Foot soldiers] Odds were that the foot soldiers had been lost a little of their stable footing as they tried to turn to retaliate. The disrupting dust the woman had stirred and flushed over the area was now no more than just a common cloud that was ready to settle. The enemy, brandishing their weapons, was well into making the first steps of their return attack. The trio of soldiers were probably just brimming with confidence and began to fan out and split up. Odds were that these soldiers weren't fighting actual, highly trained ninja yet. Unki thought herself confident too but didn't feel she was blinded by it. She tossed both fans upward high enough that she was able devote herself to a rapid string of hand signs for real ninjutsu.
In nothing flat, Unki caught her falling fans and produced a small fireball between them and her hands. The fireball was shot forward in a showy flick of her wrists and snap of her fans. Completely unnecessary but playing with fans and fire made her feel a little cool {✺ Kasairyuu [ Blaze Eruption ] Rank: A + Shakuton}. The fireball rockets forward and down into the path of the soldier braving a head-on attack. When the fireball met the resilience of the earth a large eruption of heat and flame would threaten to over take the soldier and their two comrades in a raging fury that was secretly paired with a wallop of scorch chakra.
Unki would be absolutely surprised with the trio of Kogarashi Footsoldiers survived that fiery onslaught. But she held her fans close to her body and arms raised as if prepared to block, just in case.

Meanwhile.... A ways behind Unki's location a lingering soul of Imperial fleet managed to survive an ambush. The warrior had one hand pressed to his side and a spear in the other. He looked one determined to survive. His spear was painted by the blood of Kogarashi beasts and the weapon's end rapped at the ground with each step he took. The sound of his own pulse seeming to throb in his ears put him on edge when there were other sounds to listen out for.
A ways into his walk, however, he began to wonder if his eyes were playing tricks on him when he found survivors. The Imperial solider once crossed this path and he was left in belief that this section of the Main Roads was lost and was worth while as a place of rest to the dead. There was one standing upright, a young man with black hair, and of all things, hollering about. The young man's voice was as human as own and not gritting with guttural growls or a bitter battle cries. Next thing he knew, the imperial solider was calling out with his own voice. "H-hey. Boy!" The soldier shuffled as quickly as his woulds would allow. He called again. "Boy!" He wore armor that clanked with each hop. An image of lightning bolts on his person give away his allegiance. "How'd you get out here? You look too trim to have come out from one of those damnable rifts." He heaved and gasps over the pain his torso. "Are you fighting to save these lands... or kill it?" The soldier came closer. His spear tightly rapping the ground. "I'm bleeding, boy. Bleedin' from a claw wound." The soldier was steady but the weight of the world seems to be one that could crash on him at any moment.

Hiruko would hear the man with the spear coming up from behind him before turning to face him. The constant noise of battle thankfully supplied enough sound for his echolocation to be fairly clear as he walked over to the man, “My name’s Hiruko, I haven’t had time to get my headband yet, but I’m from Arashigakure. Here, let me see what I can do for your wounds. The boy would run a hand lightly over the claw marks, feeling the blood pulse from it, though not strong enough to suggest a major artery was severed. As he ran his hand over it again, the veins would begin to stitch themselves together. It wasn’t the strongest stitching around, but it would hold up well enough for the man to not bleed out as long as he didn’t try to jump back into battle.”Alright... I think I got the worst of the bleeding to stop, now let’s see if I can close up the surface wound...” Hiruko would lightly pinch each part of the claw wound together with one hand as he placed the other over it and focused his chakra to start the healing as the green chakra lit up the immediate area of his hand. After another minute or so the wounds were finally closed up as well as the rookie medic could accomplish and he wouldlook at the man, “I got everything stitched up and closed as well as I could with my limited training... your prognosis is good, I just wouldn’t recommend trying to jump back into the fray.... if you know of any other injured, could you get them to me?”

Many of the invading footsoldiers faded out of existence with the divine intervention of Evergreen but the stronger members bolstered by Sandayu's DNA persisted in their assault. The ensuing carnage along the roadways and surrounding lands were unspeakable but there was a respite from the destruction of the drones. Prior to the blip, there was a direct collision with the strongest of the imperial divisions. The Kogarashi Commander would suddenly appear behind Unki and attempt to drive his longsword through her heart from behind.

Through the portal Saekki went, and in the middle of the war he landed. Success. He is now a participant.
Looking about at the bustling activity and taking in the not-so-distant sounds of metal clashing with metal, Saekki considered where to go next. One hand of his rested upon Honey's, making sure that he wouldn't be separated from his companion. Though, to be fair, there weren't many people willing to separate a grown man from an even bigger grizzly bear.
Seeing all the people armed to the teeth and Saekki equipped with nothing more than the robes he wear, Noud seemed to remember that maybe he should give the new guy a weapon. "That's right, do you have a weapon you prefer to use?".
Saekki answered almost automatically, "A geom..." After a brief pause, during which he saw the confusion on Noud's face, he specified, "A straight sword, double-edged with a thin blade."
"Don't be so picky," would be Noud's only response as, instead of a geom, he threw over the next best thing he had, a jian.
Saekki caught the sword deftly and nodded as he looked over it. This would do. Heck. If all he had been given was a stick, then he would make do. Without waiting for Noud, he held the sword out, and with a few gliding motions, he carried himself through a stance. His physical form was perfect, but it took him a few tries before he finally succeeded in completely executing the simple stance for its full intent, as a small flurry of wind and thunder. [Learned 5 techniques.]
After finally relearning another of his basic stances, Saekki sheathed the sword and hung it at his waist. Smiling handsomely, he nodded at Noud to show that he was ready to go.

▰ Kamaitachi no Jutsu [ Slashing Wind Skill ] | Rank D Using Chakra and a weapon, the user creates a tornado that surrounds and slashes at objects, capable of cutting tree branches and items of similar durability. Like a real tornado, the wind expands as it goes farther and hits larger targets. The wind disappears after being traveling twenty feet and at most it widens to fifteen feet. It is capable of severely cutting and knocking back a shinobi, but moves slowly and is relatively easy to dodge.
Two war fans brace the front of her body. Unki's burning assault was looking like fresh addition to a much needed clean sweep for Imperial forces. Where next? Any step in any direction probably will equal out to an intense fight. In the face of widespread calamity this whole ordeal felt like a violent beginning that escalated too quickly and wasn't the middle of battle this all truly was. Just as the esteemed chunin was deciding her opponents were no more and it was safe enough to move on a trickle of a sinister aura dawns on her. Unki hadn't the slightest clue of what those few, fleeting haunting moments meant for her aside from a blip of a thought about a bad encounter ahead of her on the road and not behind her. In the short-lived seconds from the uncanny warning surfacing in her consciouness Unki notices that strange feeling beyond words one might get when something is watching out of sight and an alarming sharp pressure on her attempting its graze into her back. Alarm sprung onto her face. This was just mere moments before she may as well been skewered. Either luck or instinct, she couldn't argue which, had her simultaneous drop her fans without much thought aside from an order to make a handsign. Muscle memory saved her [Shunshin no Jutsu [ Body Flicker Technique ] Rank: D]. All what was left of Unki as the commander's thrust reached its climax were her fans lying static on the ground. She took a leap for the safety of the otherside of the road and clung to an erect stone. Her eyes wide and heart drumming. The wonder of if her dodge was real and she hadn't have actually died startled her about as much as the upsetting pang of pressure on her back. Although acting through rattled nerves Unki still managed to give a lively tug on her threads to retrive her fans in a whish. From there, Unki's initial response under direction of the adrenaline she could feel whizzing up her spine and into her arms. Her right hand waves one fan close into a snap. Unki lessens her grip on its spines long enough to permit a rapid strand of hand signs to stir her inborn power. A breath she takes is shaky with a pulsing thrill that brims from excitement as a trio of yellow orbs pop out from seemingly nothing and into the space covering her front angle. That spaced out little trio became seven and those seven bright yellow orbs of shakuton energy became eleven dazzling substantial creations in her defense. As soon as her yellow defense was in full form did the time come to launch each creation all together in one heap of an explosion to swarm onto the Commander's position. The commander was confused by her disappearance and the appearance of fans suspended in the air. When the heroine who don't need no man to rescue her reappeared she fired strange orbs of extreme heat at him. He swung his sword in two crescent moon formations to release two arcs of chakra that formed an X shape. They would slice through the scorch release orbs with ease and head on a collision course with the empress.
There wasn't enough power backing her orbs and the sword slinging commander swept a power-packed slice through her radiant creations with a set of countering strikes to come her way. Adrenaline wasn't wasting itself on a dodge. Adrenaline was pumping out Unki's next maneuver faster than what she could think of to replace her lost technique. In the meantime, she held tight onto her fans and did what high acrobatic flips and twists she could to dodge the attack set for her {✺Soft Physical Dodge : S-rank }.
Landing on uneven earth was oddly the easy part. Getting close to this opponent wasn't feeling up to being her next choice unless she were able to disarm the Commander of his sword. Still some tricks up her sleeves, at least. If her rapid fire of shakuton was initially making the cut then amplifying that number with an attack more caustic than physically draining might do the trick. Unki dropped both fans to make way for another quick and costly series of handseals. Then the heated air about her hands simmers into a mess of bright, red hot sparks. A jolt of Unki's energy boosts the sparks upward and out into a widespread mess of that surge into a widespread flaming mess of energized, elemental balls. The sight is a little like as if the great fireball technique multiplied about a dozen times. All fireball the same "great" size as the next with considerably imposing hot and flaming threats about the area. Her swords slinging opponent might have a flaming hot pickle in his path to deal with [Gōka Hitoame no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Shower Technique ] Rank: S] The fiery seen was set and Unki yanks on strings again to collect her fans once more.

Satisfied that his ward was now armed enough to be able to properly defend himself a sparkle shined in his eyes as Noud prepared to summon his own weapon to the field. There was never a greater feeling of exhilaration then when he got to show off to the kids. With a little fuuin magic there was the puff of summoning smoke that covered the whole area, like a magician letting the suspense build until at it's peak the admiral shouted out. "HOP ON." and a rope ladder fell from the sky smacking Saekki on the head. Looking up would reveal the marvelous and impossible sight of a full sized sailor ship, complete with cannons and sails, floating high in the sky. Deep blue chakra could be see flowing along the bottom in a manner the replicated the waves from the ocean. It seemed that wherever the admiral had in mind was sure in for a surprise for a pirate bear and her tamer raining down upon them.
Honey could feel the anticipation burning through her body upon being brought into the war. This was the first she would see of how humans fought but she was more than confident she would be able to handle any threat to her Saekki. Bristling up her fur to seem as ferocious as she could, Honey shifted herself to stand on two legs before she let out a mighty roar. Her calling card that she had arrived. Such animosity was largely drowned out though when the one who brought the two here created a fancy looking boat. At least that's what Honey assumed it was anyway from what she had seen of fishing boats. This one was decidedly larger. Looking back to Saekki with a flat expression, the bear lifted up a single paw in a 'is this guy for real?' manner in regards to the skimpy wooden ladder that fell on them. With the equivalent to a sassy bear sigh, Honey couched down to use the muscles in her legs and superbear leap her way onto the bottom of the ship. With the wall walking technique that she had managed to mimic from the humans, her large form was able to spider climb all the way to the top. The whole endeavor earning an apologetic expression from Noud.

The imperial army gained traction against the remaining Kogarashi forces. Led by General Jiro Hyuuga, the final push was successful in defeating the Kogarashi army but resulted in the death of the imperial general and numerous infantry. The commander managed to evade a number of fireballs but was eventually struck. The fire burned deeply into his skin as he screamed and collapsed. His armor was heated and cooked his skin until the wailing ended with his death. The goddess empress Unki was victorious as well as the imperial army with no more of Kogarashi remaining.
