Tricks were not normally his style, but if this Gold wanted him to impress her, then impress he would. Sharp dives pulled out of quickly, barrel turns with quick dodges around his other competitors, Sigurath was prepared to make this lady swoon for him!

Killakeeth watched and judged. Verituth was wise not to get too close, for she had no hesitation on using her claws. She did appreciate Ansheth’s performance, and watched as Besciuth seemed to shrug off the attack. Lornath appeared to be full of pretty words that made her feel like the queen she was.
Neatly done Turoth, she could appreciate using one’s skills to the utmost advantage. Phylideth launched another attack, but Killakeeth felt it was somehow lacking, as if his fury had fled. You’re not going soft are you Phylideth?
Surely you are dizzy after that Garganth, Killakeeth rumbled with amusement. Come as close as you dare Nasath, I bite. Her words were warning enough. She rolled reddish eyes with flecks of purple at Zukiath, no brown will make my choice for me.
I have been painted, Killakeeth mentioned to Teth. Maybe it was a bit weird at the moment, but my rider keeps it in her quarters. She was pleased none-the-less. Far ahead of her, the bright flashes of Sigurath caught her eyes.
The sun was well up now and stirring the air with thermals. Killakeeth dived right into them. The morning winds off the ocean could be quiet blustery. Come dance with the wind!
Vosin was faintly aware of the crowd gathering near her. Most of her attention was with her dragon, but she gave them a smile to welcome them.

It seemed that, despite all of his calculations, he had not picked the wind well. As she danced before them, a golden delight for the world to admire, he struggled to keep his place amongst the suitors. He grumbled low in this throat, focusing on following her shining figure, determined to outweigh the wind that threatened him.
For all that the wind that might pluck at my wings, I hope you do not think me presumptuous when I ask for the pleasure of another dance, my Lady? There was a tinkling note of brassy humour in there, underpinning the warm affection in which he held the gold. Even the stars cannot compare to you, as they twirl about the night.
O’dyn barely noticed the gathered riders nearby- ghosts in his conscious view, superimposed over the sky and the clouds amongst which O’dyn-Ansheth danced. He gritted his teeth, willing his great bronze beast to stay true in his course. They were still not ahead- and perhaps even the wind had held them back, to a degree… but they had to keep trying. Only effort and sincerity would win them the love of another…

The request to dance on the rising thermals should have sent a little twinge of fear through the massive bronze, but Turoth was nothing but willing to prove to Killakeeth he was the one for her. He had told her to give him one shot, after all. This flight was that one shot. Although not as agile as a blue, Turoth stretched his massive wings and let the warm, rising air carry him upward.
I would dance straight to dusk with you if you wished it, he crooned to Killakeeth as he adjusted his wings just so, using his tail as a rudder to further steer him. His movements were impeccable as he danced for her, as graceful as any green and feeling light as a feather. A twirl here, a spin there, curling back around quickly to do it again and again, eager to impress and show her that despite his hulking size he could be gentle and delicate. The best of both worlds, really.
Dearest Killakeeth, the choice will be yours to make, but know I am here to catch you once you fall with strong but gentle claws. Our dance together would be beautiful and powerful to behold.
A small crowd had gathered and Ar’ad joined it. There was a good view of the flight itself and it took him a moment to realize that the gold rider herself was at the front and center of the gathering. He could see a familiar bronze twirling in the air and he had to chuckle softly - Turoth really was giving it his all, wasn’t he? He figured this would be a good place to wait: the gold and her rider would have plenty of people and dragons to pick from.

Had it been said by any other, Phylideth would have found the assertion that he was being soft aggravating. I gave all that was needed. Should I tear all your suitors from the sky too soon, who would appreciate your lovely dance? Red ebbed from his eyes, replaced with whirling purples. He would, of course, but what was the point if all eyes were not on her?
Even the strong morning winds could not push him away as he continued the pursuit.

A little! He said cheerfully, and in truth, his dizziness would work against him as Killakeeth dove into the thermals. He misjudged them, clumsily pushed this way and that as he was buffeted about. He didn't seem to mind though--he was still close to the queen herself, though respectfully kept his space. No one wanted to be crowded!

She spoke, and her words were like drops of liquid sunlight, washing over his ears and ringing in his heart. It was a threat, a warning... but what was she if not worth it? Would the price of having her in his claws be the sting of her teeth? Wasn't that a trade he was willing to make? If she wanted him, he would be hers, and of course she wanted him, who wouldn't want him? He would break himself upon her claws, if that was what it took—he was strong, so very strong, after all, all the better to hold her up as they sailed through the sky.
He dove into the rising columns of warm air with a flash of brassy wings, his bulk working in his favor now, letting him carve great swaths through the morning bluster, to loop and sport about from gust to gust, and inch close to Killakeeth and then dart away again to circle wide. Promises, promises, my golden beauty! I'll dance with the wind all you like, but I'd rather dance a little closer to you. Even warmed by the sun, the breeze feels cold to me compared to the heat of my desire—does it chill you too? Why not just let me hold you tight, keep you as warm as you like, while the rest admire how we shine, and lay treats and treasures at our feet?

J'xsen and brown Zukiath
I meant no insult, lovely Killakeeth! Zukiath quickly corrected himself. I would never attempt to control you. You are too magnificient -- I would be your humble servant!
Through the haze of flight lust J'xsen made out a knot of riders ahead. He gravitated toward them, stumbling and half-blind with desire, certain he'd find a willing partner there for the remainder of the flight.

Almost done. The dawn had broken, and its shards had settled back into a blue sky. One more day that had no business being so bright. He narrowed his eyes as the sun glinted off metallic hides but kept pace; a few winds couldn’t knock his weight around so easily. E’roe’s disappointment at his choice of words fueled him as the silence from the queen did: suffering was exquisite, even if its cause was base, its scorn petty yet well deserved.
< Ferocity, awe, power, flattery, dexterity—a feast all around. Whatever you choose to take in this morning, may it taste sweet. > Perhaps Killakeeth wouldn’t care to hear another word out of him, but even a dragon as dour as Dhum meant no ill will.

Verituth was not used to being ignored so thoroughly. It frustrated him and red started to seep into his eyes. Do you have no desires, Killakeeth? He asked conversationally. That is an odd thing to encounter.

If nothing else at all about this flight, Teth was consistent. He was much younger than most of the other chasers, save for the brown he'd known from an egg (not really), but, well. He was huge but not.
Hmm.
Either way it didn't really matter - Teth happily chased after the gold with the same vigor he did at the start of the flight; there was no chance he was slowing down. The buffeting winds were nothing against the strength of his wings and he pushed himself around with the best of them.
You are like!!! A paintbrush!! You don't belong in just a Weyr you need to be shown to everyone!!! Make them see how lovely you are, make them want you as much as I do!! As we all do!!! The brown's mental voice was husky with his growing want, but the same good nature and loving manner that he was known for still carried well.

Brown Teth
Teth: A lovely brown dragon, who is kind and loyal (if not a bit........Teth-y. Large and loud. Will accept anyone who wants to be with him =) - UNLIKELY TO FIGHT BACK, BUT DO NOT PUSH HIM TOO HARD
F'ell: If he has to, will only accept a male partner. As it is, he is likely getting as drunk as possible so he blacks out somewhere and doesn't have to deal with this.
Wants to be with Aerden probably

NPC K'srin of Bronze Cyndreth Luckily, there were no sharp comments on his lackluster aerial performance. Into the thermals he went, following her with ease and precision, each beat of his wings strong and powerful. He would not fall, he would not fail--he would not lose! With a bugle, he soared after her, calling out to her, as he steadily kept up. It was, without a doubt, his moment of glory, compared to his...less than stellar performance thus far.
I trust that you will choose me, he said, his mindvoice a purr. You are a queen who is intelligent and strong--surely you desire the same in a mate.
The edges of red had retreated from his eyes, prior annoyance lost, as purples swirled together. He had eyes only for her.
