Brian shook his head at Kazu's apology. "Don't worry about it," he told the boy. I'm more accustomed to dealing with taking Pokemon attacks than you might think." And so he was, even though he knew he would be hurting tomorrow after taking that Shadow Rush. That tackle shouldn't have affected him all that much, but with the Shadow Virus in play, it made even weak attacks seem like much more powerful ones.
He watched as the Pokeball he'd fired at the Shadow Ralts shook once before bursting open again, cursing under his breath as the Psychic/Fairy-type appeared once again, this time with even more power than before. The Collector's annoying hollering had Brian turning to him, eyes ablaze with unbridled fury. "Silence!" he yelled, his anger directed solely at the Shadow Ralts' trainer. "Do ye have any idea how much danger ye've put yerself and everyone here in with this little stunt? Ye have no idea how bad this situation is, or ye wouldn't be standing there like an idiot!"
He didn't care if his words had an impact on the Collector; right now, his sole focus was on weakening the Shadow Ralts so that he could Snag it and hopefully get it purified at some point. That being said, he was thankful there was an immunizer in the building, as it would allow him to battle the little Pokemon and hopefully not worry about the Shadow Virus spreading. But with the new surge of power, he knew they had to end this quickly, and he called Lu back to him and sent Firebrand out. The Fire-type was his best chance at defeating, or at least weakening, the Psychic/Fairy-type, even if his attacks wouldn't do that much damage thanks to the virus. He ignored the fleeing crowd, focusing on keeping his attention on the Ralts despite the amount of pain he was in from both the Shadow Rush and the Shadow Wave.
"Firebrand, use Sunny Day and follow it up with Fire Blast!" he said. "We have to weaken that Ralts so we can get it out of here and make sure it can't hurt anyone else!" Firebrand, seeing the empty gaze the Ralts had, immediately fired off a Sunny Day and a Fire Blast combination, hoping to at least deal some damage to the Shadow Ralts before it could use another Shadow attack again.

Crystal would go about looking at some of the ribbons once Reno had walked off with the sales lady, keeping a cursory and occasional glance on everyone else around meanwhile. Girlfriend, huh? Depending on how things play out, she might poke some fun at that. Best to keep it professional for not though. Mischief can come at a later time, at least, however, as right now she needed to keep an eye out for something resembling ebonite. She tapped her finger on her arm when she caught the psychic blips again, keeping her arms crossed underneath her shawl.
Her ear twitched when she got the message from Reno, the only show of her getting startled from the unexpected voice in her head. She should have known better, but there was the whole thing of still trying to get used to being around friends she knew and trusted once more, instead of trying to block out every foreign psychic presence. ‘Right, right. The button could just be a silent alarm, but I just caught more of those blips, too. Doubtful a coincidence. Hm…’ She thought for a moment, her intense gaze on the ribbon she was in front of until she had something of an idea. ‘Not too much of an idea, but Deo, how much chaos can you cause in getting that ribbon off? If we could maybe disappear into the back… At the very least, if Harleen could.’

understanding the telepathic comments, Deo knew how to cause trouble, given his size, he could maybe cause it. He then acted like he was dizzy "oh dear, not again." as he then fell right onto the cashier making sure his hand caught the ribbon and tried to yank it off as he fell.

SubonicXP “How long? About a month, I would say.” The waiter answered Cera, looking over towards the wall where the sounds were coming through. As the two spoke the sounds of slot machines would only get louder, the sound of someone slamming things also heard. The waiter would look to Cera for a moment before looking back at the wall. What was going on in there? If Cera were to concentrate on mentally ‘feeling’ for anyone beyond the wall she would detect a very distinct mental presence, as far as the team went. Only one person would have such a presence, if not because of what form of hybrid he was but also just his personality. Darts. In a Game Corner. Sounds right. But an abandoned one? Better go check it out. Darts was sitting mesmerized in front of the massive 'slot machine' floating in mid air directly before his face. At least he wasn't berserk or asleep, but his mental safeguards were only going to hold for so long before that deeper, more primal side of himself took over and he started breaking things. For now, however, he was content to let it ride. "Woooooo hooooo!" He yells, thrusting his fist into the air in triumph. "Triple Starmies!" He crows, looking around at an imaginary crowd of casino patrons. "C'mon baby you know it's all about the Darts - let's put the money back in I can't lose!" From the ruckus he was making there was no way to miss the hybrid's location for anyone nearby, he was causing quite the uproar.

The woman gave Reno a scowl at his implication that their most expensive ribbon was less than the highest of quality. Clearing her throat she went to speak however the lumbering giant that was Deo would fall over the counter and somehow ‘accidentally’ snatched the ribbon off her waist that was acting as a belt. Fortunately it was only a ‘belt’ in the fashion sense, it served no purpose in holding anything up as she was wearing a dress. However the woman immediately took offense to Deo’s very bad attempt to make that look like an accident.
“How dare you! Are all you Snagems so uncouth and perverted!?” She shouted, not taking kindly to having her accessory ripped off her body, so shocked by this act that she forgot the purpose it really served. Obviously Reno would use this as an opportunity to pierce her mind, which would be especially vulnerable in this moment of heightened emotions and distraction. His most immediate concern would clearly be the button she pressed and what purpose it served. It would be easy for him to find this information as she was still thinking about how long it will take for her teammates to get here and put these Snagems in their places. There was a considerable amount of hostility in these thoughts as well.
Either way Reno now knew for certain others were on their way and they weren’t bringing cake and ice cream. Before he could poke around much else the woman mentally pushed him out as she snatched another ribbon out from behind the counter and held it tight. “Did you really think I didn’t know who you were?” She hissed at them, her eyes drifting between them. “I may not have recognized the hybrids but you, the red headed psychic Co-Leader of Team Snagem, you’re very well known to me.” She said with a smile as the gate typically used to close the store at night slammed down, trapping them all inside. “How lucky we are that you would walk right in. Didn’t expect to cross paths with any of you so soon but oh well, seize the moment!”
With that said she chucked a Pokeball over the counter and after bouncing off the ground a Lunatone appeared from it, one with that characteristic cloak of foul purple energy surrounding it. “Tooone!” Moaned the Shadow Lunatone as it appeared from the device. “Shadow Wave!” She commanded, knowing the exact move to call for. This wasn’t just some random person who acquired a Shadow Pokemon but someone with intimate knowledge of them.
With its shadowy cloak surging the Lunatone would unleash in a sweeping U-shaped wave a blast of powerful Shadow energy in the form of a Shadow Wave, the attack threatening to hit all three of them. In a small shop with the exit closed there was little place for them to escape to. It was clear that this woman only intended to keep them here long enough for backup, though even just one Shadow Pokemon could prove to be a challenge, anymore and their odds of victory will tank.

Brian cursed under his breath when the Fire Blast missed, though he shouldn't have been surprised. Normally, that would work much better on larger targets, but with Ralts being so small, there wasn't much chance of hitting with a less-than-accurate move. Firebrand grunted in pain as the Ralts hit him head-on in the stomach, and Brian was about to call out another attack, but something stopped him. Kazu was speaking to his Espurr, and what he did next had Brian wondering if the boy had a death wish of some kind.
When Kazu glanced at him, he bit back the command he was getting ready to give Firebrand, and gave a slight nod. He would keep Firebrand at the ready, just in case, but he would allow Kazu the chance to try and calm the Ralts. "Firebrand, stand down for now, but be ready to attack again if things go belly up, alright?" He heard a grunt of affirmation from the Fire-type, and turned his attention back to Kazu and the Ralts. Hearing the boy's words made Brian realize that he had forgotten something very important about Ralts: they were known as the Feeling Pokemon, and negative emotions almost always impacted them in a bad way. Even more so now, since this particular one was infected with the Shadow Virus. He mentally face-palmed when he realized this, and did what he could to temper his anger at the situation the poor Psychic/Fairy-type was in.
Brian watched as Kazu spoke to the Ralts, amazed that the boy was able to keep so calm, given the circumstances. He wasn't sure he would have been able to stay so calm, but he'd never been in a situation like this before.
