Hi Amy. *waves back*

Amy smiled and then gently started to shake Thistle awake. She hadn't wanted to startle her awake by calling out to Nei, but she didn't mind lightly shaking her awake. She was very gentle about it.

"Wake up, Thistle. You've been sleeping a long time and I don't want your hours switched up. Plus, someone's here I'd like you to meet."

She held Thistle up so that Nei could see her, and Thistle slowly started to blink open her big blue eyes tiredly.  

[Nei1]

Oh, how cute.  

[Cuwen]

Amy smiled and hugged Thistle to her, next to her face. "Yes she is! She's even cuter when she's squeaking everywhere. She's too tired to make much noise right now, but I couldn't let her sleep any longer. Want to hold her?"  

[Nei1]

Sure. *holds out her hands*

Amy carefully put Thistle in Nei's hands. Thistle's eyes widened quickly, suddenly very aware that she was in a stranger's pair of hands, and she stiffened.

Amy sighed and shook her head. "Sorry about that. She gets very nervous around new people. She won't hurt you, though, and she'll get used to you soon, I'm sure."  

[Nei1]

(Got'cha)

Awww, there there, I won't bite. *pets Thistle*  

[Cuwen]

Thistle squeaked softly and fluttered her wings just slightly in worry, but she was quickly relaxing due to the petting she was receiving.

Amy smiled. "I think she likes that."  

[Nei1]

*giggles* I have that effect on animals.  

[Cuwen]

Amy laughed softly. "It seems like you do! Do you have any of your own?"

Thistle leaned her head toward one of Nei's hands, the one that wasn't petting her, and licked it.  

[Nei1]

I have an orange cat.  

[Cuwen]

"You should bring her by to the pet area! She can get some of Chef Karrie's pet food and get a massage."  

[Nei1]

LOL, she is spoiled as it is.  

[Cuwen]

Amy laughed. "Oh I know what you mean! Thistle is, too, but she seems cuter that way. Though I do try to discipline her."

Thistle was still licking Nei's hand, not paying attention to the conversation.

Amy tilted her head to the side as she saw Thistle doing this. "I think she's hungry. It's about supper time. If you still want to hold her, you can take her over to that little booth with an animal sign next to it. That's where you can get pet food. If you don't want to, though, I can take her back. It's up to you."  

[Nei1]

You can take her back, my time has expired for today. See you later Amy.

*gives Thistle one last pet* Until later.
