Taking a few deep breaths he hopped down with Dai and said," Ill be ok. My chakra network is used to this kind of punishment." He was surprised a bit by her displays of concern to which he replied them with a smile. Turning to face Samuru quickly he said," Samuru when you have a moment I have a proposition for you, one I think you would be very interested in." Turning back to Dai he smiled and said," Its been some time, what have you been up too?" He wouldn't mind playing catchup with her while he waited for his chakra to return.

Dai grabbed Myurai's shoulder and shoved him down into sitting on the ground. "I will suffocate you with my paper. Sit!" Her voice was stern to him. "Your chakra is in dangerous levels. Rest here for a moment, Myu-kun." Dai looked at Samuru when Myurai called to him. Sighing mentally. She knew that look, he was miserable. Kyo had a look like that. She puff a breath of air up causing her bangs to move up. She turned her attention back to Myurai when he spoke to her. "Oh you..." Dai jabbed a thumb at Samuru. "Hanging around people that hate me." She frowned at the statement. "So same as always. What can I say."

Samuru glanced over at Myurai, his face slowly returning to its cold expression in time to see Daitomi's thumb jerk "Hate is a weak word for what I feel for you, Daitomi. Loathing is a more accurate one." and he flipped her off. As for Myurai "I'm sure its better then what I'm currently doing. I accept." he didn't know what it was but if it got him away from Daitomi, he was fine.

He smiled and said," I hear ya. Ive been up to mostly the same thing. Training got my Jounin, was given a team. You know same old same old. OH and I opened a shop in the plaza. You should come by some time. Ill hook you up with weapons and armor, on me." Turning to Samuru hearing his words for dai his brow furrowed a bit as he replied," Well that works then. Lady Kinpaku willing you will be working for me in my shop as a blacksmith. I could use your expertise. My family can craft good weapons and armor but a little bit more skill is never a bad thing. Ill handle the armor if you can handle the weapons. Though we will have to discuss your fee or how much you want per week as pay."

Samuru hopped off the ruins "Brilliant. Where's the shop? I'd like to go take a look at it now so if you can give me directions, I'll leave." he didn't care what Myurai thought of his and Daitomi's interaction. They didn't like each other. There was very little that either would be able to do about that...even if Samuru might, somewhere deep down, regret that. NONE of that showed though as he waited calmly for Myurai to speak.

Dai didn't look at Samuru as he "corrected" his feelins about her. "Loathing is just a stronger word for hate." She turned her sight onto him as he flipped her off. "Awe, how cuuuuute~...I love you too...but you're too young for me and aren't my type." She said the first part scaracticly just to irritate him. She turned to Myurai, "See..." She held out her palm and motioned up and doawn at Samuru's person. "This is the thanks I get for saving his a** at the gates." She tilted her head back as Samuru accepted whatever before even hearing what Myurai wanted. She rolled her eyes before looking at Myurai again. "Congrats on the promotion, Myu-kun. And I'll take you up on that offer some other time." Dai placed her hands on her canisters and smiled as Myurai spoke of what he wanted from Samuru. "Awe~ Look at that Samuru. We don't get to play anymore. Have fun with your new friend, you ungrateful little creep." Dai looked at Myurai. "You can get up in five minutes, try and take it easy, Myurai. If you need me I'll be at the Kage's office, Myu." Dai shifted on her heels and took a few steps. "See ya." was all she said before vanishing in a Shinshun.

He smiled at Samuru and said," Its in the plaza you cant miss it it has a large dragon made of ice on the roof. Head on over there and get too work anytime you want. Also go ahead and replace your weapons. Those too are on the house. Ill be over there shortly once i finish my training" With that the clone disappeared in a puff of ice and frost.
The ruins were going to go from majestic to rubble as two powerful mortar shells struck the area, causing earthquake style movement and spikes to rise and form both above and below ground in the caves, as well as a massive structure of crystel spikes to cake over. The dave had taken too much abuse, and collapsed, taking the ruins with it.

Haituros clone bound down the street sprinting as quickly as it could. It ran with a silent determination to get to the ruins as quickly as possible. As it reached the entrance tunnel to the ruins it stopped and screamed. "F**K! Why!" all the clone could see where the entrance should have been was a pile of rocks and rubble. The clone walked slowly forward to the rocks and pounded his fist against one of the larger boulders. "No...no, no no,this isn't happening!" As if to prove to the clone it really was a large tree began to creak. The roots had been loosened enough by the barage that it began to topple the roots ripping out of the ground slowly at first then quickly crashing down to Haituro's clones' left. The branches and leaves landing 5 feet away from him. The clone sighed and began to turn around when the clone heard "Hello?" coming from above the rocks on the hill. Haituro looked up and saw a trio of young children standing on the edge of the mound.
The clone quickly moved. He leaped to where they were with a single leap and looked down at the three of them. Two girls and a boy, the oldest girl spoke as Haituro reached them. "They're all dead. All of them. Mommy, Daddy, the strangers, all of them, they're all dead." Her lip quivered but she maintained her composure, the two smaller ones though they burst into tears. Haituro's clone squatted down and wrapped his arms around the two smaller ones, "Everything is going to be fine, i'm here i'll protect you." The small boy looked at him and spoke in a small voice. "No one protected mommy, the rock fell and then her head was gone." The boy screamed in agony as the fresh wound was torn open again by the memory. Haituro squeezed the boy tighter and then lifted the two children he had his arms wrapped around. "Why weren't you guys inside the cave?" The clone asked looking at older girl. "We were bored, old things aren't fun." She paused. "Mommy had a head and then it was gone..." her lip quivered again and she looked up at Haituro's clone. "She was almost out.. she was almost.." The little girl shook her head and squeezed her eyes shut.
Haituros clone hoisted the little ones up a little higher as he adjusted his grip on them and nodded gently at the older girl. "We need to get out of here, there could be more mortars." The girl looked at him and nodded. This girl was a tough one there was no doubt about it, but she was still just a child she wouldn't be able to survive out here with the two little ones alone. Haituro told the girl to stay in front of him and to run as fast as she could. "I'll give you directions, you just run as fast as you can, can you do that for me?" The little girl nodded and began to run down the street, Haituro stayed close behind her.

He'd lost sight of the boy, Kaileer, but Samuru had kept to the same general direction he'd seen him going and found...more ruined ruins? The whole place was a wreck and he could guess what had caused it "I am going to find this person firing mortars and rip his internals out of his a**." he said bluntly, one hand gripping his sword tightly. He walked carefully around the fallen ruins, eying the massive hole that was left of the previously partially standing monument of Cloud's past. It was like looking at a giant sinkhole that had consumed everything and he stopped at the edge to kneel "..." which way had the mortar come from? He looked skyward and scowled, remembering his own experience with the things before he stood up to look for the other two who were with him.

Upon arrival, Airi would look around and note the damage of the Ruins. While it was destroyed, it was calm. Rubble and broken bits of older buildings lay around the clearing, but there were no enemies nearby. Nodding to herself, Airi was ready to head back and report to Doki as they had been ordered to do, but she was halted since the Shinobi she had been sent with didn't seem to have the same idea. "Oi, engaging that person in combat isn't our job right now." While she could understand the anger he held, they had a mission they needed to stick to. "Besides, Black told us Thanatos was taking care of it, remember?" Shrugging, she would continue. "This area is clear and safe, so we need to report back to Doki and tell her." Walking to his side, the short Oni would stare over the edge of a large sinkhole that he stopped in front of. "The sooner we head back, the sooner we get assigned to a new job, and the sooner we can go whoop some a**, right?" Unlike before, her voice seemed calmer. Away from all of the mindless babbling happening in the ANBU Headquarters, she was finally able to think clearly, and her head wasn't pounding like it had been before.
Hopefully her words would make sense to the older Shinobi, because she could tell there were similarities between the two. He seemed to be the type of man who had no intentions of quitting even when s**t got bad and she could respect that. It was the same way she felt. Even though he was injured, he was still ready to fight for a village that wasn't even his, and it was this that made her not want to snap at him. "Let's go." Whether or no Samuru was going to follow her, she took off back in the direction of the ANBU Headquarter's to report Doki.
-----I arrived a moment after the other two simply because I was trying to recover. I had no room to speak because the older shinobi--Samuru, if I remembered right--was injured far worse than I was. It was simply a matter of... imagine being numb and then suddenly not. It left me short of breath, hence the situation. -----Both were standing beside a gaping hole in the ground when I arrived. I hadn't been here before, so I knew nothing outside of it was a series of caves with ancient ruins inside. Or it was supposed to be, anyway. Now it was, well, a hole in the ground. I wasn't exactly sure what we were doing here. I suppose maybe if some tourists could have been visiting, but as far as I knew not many people who lived in the village came here. -----But then, what did I know? I wasn't from this village. I'd only been here a couple of years. Maybe some kids used it as a hang out or something. "Are we so sure there's no one here?" There were no enemies that I could see, but it didn't mean there weren't people trapped below. I stared down at the dark hole for a moment. Some distance below, I could see the shimmering of water, but most of the ruins had been crushed by the weight of the tunnels harboring them. I looked up to talk, but the horned girl, Airi, I think, was already walking away. I scowled slightly, but turned my gaze to Samuru. "I'm going to look around a little more, just to make sure. If you two want to head back, you can." -----I waited a moment for an answer before turning away to look for a safe path down.

Looking over his shoulder sharply then dismissing the stress when he noticed it was the Kaileer boy, Samuru didn't acknowledge what Airi had said. Just showing up and looking at a destroyed area was not exactly 'investigating' as the Raikage had instructed. Even if this wasn't what he wanted to be doing, he agreed more with Kaileer more then Airi. If they were going to investigate this like proper shinob-I have been hanging around righteous people waaaay too much. he shook his head and watched Kaileer look around "...tree walk." he muttered and focused chakra to his feet before jumping into the hole, aiming to land on one of the more prominent pieces of ruin that was still standing. As he did though, his gaze was skyward, trusting his feet to find a space, and he noticed something "..." landing on the spire, he abruptly reversed his position and launched himself back out of the hole. A good thing too as the spire collapsed on his second jump. Finding ground outside the hole, Samuru was staring in the direction of a higher and farther off structure, his eyes narrowed. He'd seen.... "What is that?" he asked harshly, pointing at the structure just as something seemed to be fired from the area. His body reacted, getting blown up twice in one day did that to a body, dipping a fraction but the item was aimed back from where they'd come, shooting towards the HQ Mortar!"Gotcha." he growled under his breath "Forget this place. We're going there." without waiting for them to agree or disagree, he took off, following the mental path he'd tacked in his mind from where the mortar had come from.
