"You know what I mean. Not exactly boyfriend/girlfriend either." Adrian said doing the same. "...You're a tease, you know that?" he joked as he looked at her with a smirk.

"How exactly am I a tease?" Amaya asked with a sly grin, looking over to him.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Giving the occasional kiss and hug with no intent of making things serious." Adrian stated in a rather matter of fact tone.  

[Maya Freana]

"Well I said not at the moment when Orion was all over you. Like I said, I didn't want to put Calista in that position. You're terrible at listening. You just hear no and that's all you hear." She replied, raising a hand and poking him in the forehead lightly.

"Well I'm just going to play my 'still recovering and getting over partially traumatic experience' card and claim to have an excuse for forgetting that detail." Adrian said pretending to lay down a card on the counter. "And Orion is gone now, so you don't have to worry about her now." he said with a slightly grim expression, still feeling a bit guilty about killing her.

((I wonder when someone's going to have the heart to tell him that Orion was a dude, seeing as how he wasn't right in the head to remember that little revelation. XD ))

Amaya only laughed slightly, shaking her head at Adrian's excuse. "Pretty lame excuse if you ask me." Amaya said with a smirk before she got up and began cleaning the dishes.

"Hey, gotta give me points for trying." Adrian protested as he got up. "On that note, I'm going to climb back into bed now where gravity can't pull on my wings."  

[Maya Freana]

"Technically gravity will still be pulling your wings." Amaya told him before she smirked and walked over to go play with Calista and Peter. "Have fun being a cripple." She called over her shoulder.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Hey, I'm not crippled, just temporarily handicapped! There's a difference!" Adrian called back as he slipped under the blankets. "....I think!"

((deepest apologies for my absence and the continuation of same, but a combination of academic and personal situations have made it quite impossible for me to log on during the period between my last post and today. Please place Smith on long-term hiatus, as I will be away from Gaia in general until the academic problems and personal situations all clear up, which will be at least mid-January if not early June of 2012, possibly later than that. I may log on occasionally to check up on the roleplay, but these logins will be on the order of one to every other week, if that.))

"Oh, to be able to flap again!" Adrian said with a smile as he came back from the clinic, arms up in glee and wings spread just because he finally could again. "God, I was starting to feel like a mummy bandaged up like that." he said stretching out in numerous ways, glad to be free of pain for the time being.  

[Maya Freana]

"RAWR! Adrian's a mummy, mommy!" Calista giggled from atop Amaya's shoulders.

"I can see that. God I'm just glad you're done whining. I could hardly stand to listen to you." Amaya told Adrain with a wink.

"Aw, you know you liked nursing me back to health." Adrian joked as he pumped his wings a few times. "Any idea when Sikes wants me back in the ring? I'm probably rusty."
