My name is Melissa and I'm seventeen. I'm an aspiring song writer and I play five instruments. They are voice, violin, piano, guitar, and trumpet. (I put them in order of importance.) I hope to get into Florida State (minimum) to study to be a music teacher. Although, it would be nice to get a recording contract or writing contract either way I'm happy. My favorite genres of music are Classical, Rock, and Country. I rarely listen to anything else.

Hello everyone,

My name is Maria and I just recently created Morrigan Wynn after watching my boyfriend play Dragon Age. (Morrigan being a 'witch' and her attitude amuses me so)

I turned the ripe ole' age of 22 in June this year and after a few years off from schooling, I've once again rejoined the legions of college students.

Fortunately for me, I'm not extremely new to Gaia, as I have another toon (oy, that's the World of Warcraft dork coming out) that has been with me since February 2005. I've been a long time addict on Gaia but decided to take a break back in 2007 and just recently within the past month decided to come back. I missed fiddling around with the avatars and making crap-tacular avatar designs.

I came back to see if I can make friends and to partcially entertain myself through the college seasons.

I'd like to think I have an open mind, though admittedly, sometimes a particular tidbit of information or someone else's opinion can irritate me. Regardless if it irritates me, I choose to allow myself to calm down before I might possibly say something. I much prefer to step around conflict than to be part of it. Now, to use a list like manner:

Likes: Wolves, reading, writing, drawing, surfing the web, MMO's, very small amount of FPS's, listening to a wide variety of music, [zOMG] office supplies, the occasional picture taking, cameras (I've own about 4 - 5 digital cameras and one of them is a DSLR), white rice, technology...and probably lots of other things. biggrin

Dislikes: (Peronsally) Short cutting my words [or txt talk], racism (which includes the often ignored reverse racism), my current job at a particular retail store...a lot more. xD
