Kazuki entered the building with his trusty sidekick Pan, together they walked towards the stairs. When they reached the bottom, Kazu smirked and nodded his head. At the same time, they took off running up the steps. Pan's lithe legs shot her up the steps, and Kazu skipped four steps as he ran upward. They were just rounding the corner when Kazuki promptly slipped and slammed into the floor. Pan ceased her running and came back to him. Kaz clutched his mouth and feigned pain as Pan began to lick his hand. When she sat down, Kazu pushed off of the floor and took off once more towards the top of the steps. Pan let out a growl of frustration and went after him. Kaz reached the top first and thrust his hands in the air in victory, only to be tackled down by Pan. She sat on his back, digging her nails into his back.

When Pan finally got up, Kazu rose to his feet and ruffled her head. He then went into the Hokage's office, giving a bow to him and nodding his head to others in the room. He tried to resign himself to being patient, but that ran out fairly quick. Kazu started by first patting his thighs, and then went to petting Pan.

Shizuka walked all the way up to the stairs of the Hokage's building, sighing as she walked up to the very ordinary looking door. Shivering slightly because of the feel of the insects below her skin. Even if she was an Aburame and as such had been this way all of her life, she would still never quite get used to the crawling feeling every second of every day. Then again, she didn't really consider herself a bonafide member of the clan anyway. She just happened to have their insects using her body like a hotel. She stopped at the Secretaries desk, leaning up because of how short she was and peeking her head over the counter before talking. "I'm sorry to disturb you, but I need a head band." After a short discussion the woman handed her said head band, the young girl waved and ran out of the building again.

[I hope you don't mind but I don't really have time to wait for a reply. n.n; I was told that this was acceptable.]

XXXLuckily for Aya, the second trip around consisted of no furry animal attempting to steal her weapons. Arriving within five minutes tops, Ayaka continued at her regular pace up the stairs and towards the office. Stopping right next to Pan, Ayaka would crouch down and gently pat the cheetah on the head. Remaining quite for a bit while she smothered her cousin's companion, Ayaka would continue to keep her gaze on Pan while she apologized in a soft tone. "Sorry for taking so long Kazu-ni, Pan, some girl's ferret attempted to swipe away some of my senbon so I had to turn around to return him to the owner. Hopefully I didn't make you wait too much..." Given the circumstances behind her leaving, Aya was more worried about her cousin scolding her for leaving so suddenly then taking so long to do such a simple guide thing. Continuing to pat Pan, Ayaka waited for either Kazuki to yell at her or for the Hokage to call them inside. Whatever came first.

Wazurai grinned at the Yukigakure Jonin before speaking. "Well, in that case, I have two things that I could use you for. Hitomi here, has just traveled to every village and has received a promotion to Jonin. I would like it if you both would discuss various combative strategies over lunch. When Hitomi is sufficiently rested, She could use a good sparring partner. When you're both done, find me and I'll assign you a new task."

Turning his gaze over to the three genin: Eirlys, Ayaka, and Kazuki, The Hokage offered his services. "If you'll head to the Academy, I shall teach you a few ninjutsu and Genjutsu. For those interested in Taijutsu, I shall go over that afterwards. I'll be there shortly, I just have to inform my secretary that I shall be busy for a while."

Walking into the Hokage's office, his left hand in his pocket, Kazuya stopped, looking around for either the Hokage, or someone he could get in contact with for a headband. Letting out a soft sigh, he waited patiently. He hoped someone would be with him soon as he had things he wanted to get done with. He was a bit impatient after all.

Pan sniffed the air and nudged Kaz once on the leg, and then turned her head to the door. Kazu turned just in time to see Ayaka return from wherever it was she had went. He smiled at her, then looked perplexed for a moment. "A ferret?" He asked, wondering why anyone would carry one around. Unlike Pan, a ferret seemed like a useless pet to have for anything other than retrieving things. Pan could actually pose a threat to people given her speed, strength, and sharp nails and teeth. Kazu shrugged, but then shook his head. "Hey don't worry about it! Do ya fancy that redheaded kid?" He asked, speaking about Ashitaka, the guy she escorted to the dojo. He waggled his eyebrows a bit, but then Pan stomped on his foot and growled at him. Kazu chuckled and playfully swatted at Pan's ears before giving his attention to Wazurai. Finally they were going to get some training in! Kazu practically leaped for joy at this. He spun around and immediately began to walk out, motioning for Ayaka to follow. Kazu and Pan hurried out of the Hokage's office and headed towards the Academy.

Hitomi turned from the Hokage and looked back at the Yuki Jounin as he introduced himself. 'Did that guy just-? Did the Hokage just-? Nooo.' The girl groaned to herself and frowned, mumbling, "But I don't wanna be stuck with him." After a moment though, her demeanor changed as she suddenly remembered something. 'Wait, should I tell the Hokage abou-' Before Hitomi could even finish her thoughts, the Hokage had spoken and left the office. Hitomi stood still, gazing at the door with a heavy, burdened gaze, her eyebrows creased as if she was angry. This however, was her normal expression whenever she was deep in thought. Her words from before the mission kept playing in her mind like a broken recording, but yet she stood still instead of running after the Hokage. 'I'm sure he doesn't want to be bothered...and besides, he didn't even ask. Does this mean a new game plan? And all that back then might have been a cover-up...but why...?' Hitomi shook her head and placed those thoughts away for a later time. 'Anyways, it'll take a while to get from Yuki to the crossroads, so I hope Izaya won't wait long.' The girl turned to Matsu, coaxing one eyebrow upwards. "Well, as the Hokage said, I'm Hitomi Kurama. It's nice to meet you, I guess..Sorry if I'm not in the best of moods, I'm a bit tired." The girl sighed and attempted a grin, even though it wasn't as big as she would like it to have been.

XXXMoving from just patting the top of Pan's head, Aya would gently place her right hand underneath the young cheetah's jaw and begin some slight stroking of the neck. She heard the puzzled feelings laced in with Kazuki's first question and could only nod in response. His next question was the most unexpected. The thought of getting lectured was completely thrown out the door as her cousin went and actually inquired about a deeper meaning to her act of kindness. 'Did it really seem that way...? All the more reason to not be so openly friendly I guess...' Focus still on grooming Pan, Ayaka would take a few moments to ignore responding to Kazuki before finally parting her lips to speak in soft tones. "Kazu-ni...don't be silly...." Light golden hues raising up to glance at the lean, yet athletic blond youth, Ayaka would have said more if the Hokage had not decided to speak up at this hour.

Standing up immediately, Ayaka would dust her clothes of any dust or other things that may have stuck within the frills. Confident that she looked presentable as was drilled into her, Ayaka turned to face the Hokage, giving him her full attention. At his offer of further training as promised prior to their completion of their mission, Ayaka nodded in response. Giving the elderly man a low respectful bow, Ayaka would hold it for a second or two before rising. Posture straight again, Ayaka would turn to her left only to find air. Whirling around, Ayaka spotted Kazuki and Pan already excitedly exiting the door, pausing only to give her a quick motion to follow. Shaking her head, Ayaka began the short walk over to the academy.

Amai came into the office, not all that excited it was her shift. She wasn't late or anything. . .she was never late! It just had been so long since she had needed to take a shift here, spotting a young man waiting in the office. As she looked at the Uchiha boy smiling. "Heyo~ You must be a new Genin looking for a headband! Welcome to Konoha as a new ninja! Here, while the Hokage's away I'll get you your Leaf headband." The charming pink haired girl smiled sweetly and turned going to the Hokage's desk taking out one of the headbands. Turing back to the boy she stepped forward approaching him handing him his headband. "Train hard and make Konoha proud!"

The boy perked up when he heard a voice, and turning to the source, he was met with a smile. As she approached him with the headband, he gratefully took it, tieing it to his right bicep. Bowing in respect before standing fully, he gave a warm smile. "Thank you." he said before turning, and walking out of the Hokage's office.

❝Eirlys' demeanor lifted into something brighter when the Hokage made it known that he would oversee her as well as several of the other Genin's training at the academy. It was a good start, and to be trained by the Hokage himself was no small thing. It was an honor, though she doubted she wanted to learn anymore Ninjutsu at this stage, so all that left was Genjutsu and Taijutsu. Eirlys had never given much thought to her Genjutsu training, but she figured she might as well start now. As far as she knew, there was a great deal of Genjutsu out there that she could learn. All she had to do was choose what she wanted to have taught to her. Flashing the Hokage a lustrous smile, Eirlys turned to the door to walk to the academy, following not too far behind the boy and girl that she had seen there earlier, but had not gotten a chance to properly introduce herself to.
