[post 1 of 2] Shikatsu entered the dojo and quickly set up outside. This kind of training would destroy the dojo if done inside it's walls. He gathered several dummies that awaited death and set one up. As he did he got ready and started to focus his chakra.
[post 2 of 2] Shikatsu then opened the first gate, the gate of opening and looked at his target. He dashed forwards and then did a severe roundhouse kick to the dummy. This caused it to snap in half and go flying across the training area. Once done he hot ready for the next jutsu.

[post 1 of 4] Shikatsu set up another dummy and once again focused his chakra. He the opened the second gate, the gate of healing. He felt his speed and strength increase and was now ready for the next attack.
[post 2 of 4] He quickly rushed towards the dummy, almost as a blur, and began his attack. His speed was unmatched as far as he knew and looked to be a black streak heading for the dummy. As he neared the dummy he let a bit of his cloth-like weapon out.
[post 3 of 4] Shikatsu then used his extending chain weapon to wrap up the dummy and launch it into the air. He then launched himself into the air and begin a barrage of strikes, knocking the dummy back towards the ground. He then finished it off with a strong leg strike right into the ground itself.
[post 4 of 4] This made the dummy explode into bits. The rater it made looked as tho it would have killed a normal person, maybe even a shinobi. He fixed the hole by filling it in and then went back to train more.

Lee first opens a celestial gate to increase his speed, he then uses his extending chain weapon to wrap up his opponent and launch them into the air. He will then finish them off with a strong strike right into the ground itself.

[post 1 of 2] Shikatsu, after having already trained several new and hard techniques, was ready to learn a new one. He knew the next technique was a very powerful one that also came with some risk if he was not careful. He prepared himself and focused on the task at hand. He had one last dummy set up and it was all the way across the way. This was a distance of about 30 yards, not to far away, but to far for close combat maneuvers. He then proceeded to open up the third gate, the gate of life. As he did, his skin turned red and his eyes white. The veins on his head and neck now easily visible as they seemed to almost protrude out of his body. He looked at his target, the dummy was still and would remain that way. He knew in a real fight he would have a moving target, but he hoped his speed would compensate for that. Shikatsu was now ready and in an instant, he vanished. His speed was now at max for his current state and was invisible to the naked eye. In almost the same instance he vanished, he reappeared in front of the dummy and did a rising kick to where it's chin would be. The sheer force of this kick could kill most ninja, but for the stronger ones the follow up was what sealed their fate.
[post 2 of 2] As the dummy rose, almost shooting up like a rocket, Shikatsu had once again vanished from site. As the dummy flew higher into the air, a sound that could only be described as thunder or cannon fire was heard. The next few things to happen would take place in a matte of seconds. The dummy was was shot forwards in the air from an unknown and invisible attack. This was followed up by several attacks that made the dummy bounce around in the air with no way to escape. As he neared the end of his attack he kicked the dummy towards the ground and attached the cloth-like weapon to the dummy. when the dummy was about half way between him and the ground, Shikatsu pulled it back to him and instantly mat it with a downward palm strike and kick with his left arm and leg. This caused the dummy to crash into the ground like a meteor and like a meteor, it left a huge crater in the earth beneath him. As the smoke cleared and Shikatsu landed, he saw that only splintered fragments of the dummy remained from this last attack. He undid the gates and cleaned up the mess, feeling accomplished at his work.
training complete for: ○ Ura Renge [ Reverse Lotus ] Rank: A Description: Ura Renge is a Taijutsu technique which was forbidden due to the strain it puts on a ninja's body. To complete the technique, Lee had to open the first five of the Celestial Gates. By opening the first of the Celestial Gates, the Initial Gate, the ninja is able to release the restraints in the brain and push the body farther. In Lee's case, he was able to increase his speed and power. By opening the second gate, the Heal Gate, Lee was able to temporarily increase his stamina. With the opening of the Third Gate, the Life Gate, Lee's body turns a shade of red and he is able to perform the Ura Renge. When Lee performed the technique though, he also opened the fourth gate, the Harm Gate, and the fifth gate, the Limit Gate. Opening the gates removes the limiters placed on the body, and by opening these gates Lee was given a great increase in power in speed. The technique was forbidden though because as each subsquent gate is opened, the body faces more and more strain. When Lee opened the fifth gate, his muscles began to snap.
Generally, to utilize the Ura Renge, Lee will open the first three Celestial Gates. Then, like Omote Renge, he quickly moves beneath the target and kicks them upwards. While in the air Lee will then pummel his opponent throughout the air with high speed Taijutsu attacks to weaken them. Then at the apex of his attack he will strike his opponent in the chest towards the ground. Lee then moves in close to his opponent and attaches his bandage. Lee will then allow his opponent to get some distance, he then pulls his target back to his body and does a hard downward palm strike to their chest causing them to crash into the ground with massive damage. Because so many chakra gates are opened at once, this technique can only be used once, since the user will likely be unable to stand afterwards. This is proven when Lee is left barely able to stand after using it on Gaara, and the latter's powerful defenses and long-distance attacks allowed him to win the match. Consumes the remaining post counts for the third Gate.

Flash back training
Rin finally was working on her buki skills after focusing so long on her medical practicies. Her father had taught her buki and this style was passed down to her. Sadly he had never the chance to teach her all of it so she was here now to learn a bit more. The first stages she was familar with so she didn't think it would take her long to remember what to do. Picking a dummy the girl rushed forward but just as she was going to strike from the right, she swapped directions hitting the doll from the left. [Axle of Rain 1/1]
Running at the dummy again Rin brought her blade in an upward motion as the weapon glowed from the chakra gathered. Being outside as the wind was sent from her blade (which missed the target on purpose), leafs and dust gathered in the burst. If this had been a human target it was surely to be a bit disoriented, if not blinded. [Rolling Rain 1/1]
Continuing her training Rin moved on to more moves she'd been taught by her father. She was already quite adept at them so they took little time and effort and before she knew it she already was on the last one of the first stage. Rushing forward once more at the dummy she struck down her blade after it rose over her head. Missing on purpose the chakra gathered in her weapon erupted in a mist of water. Rin couldn’t help but blink as she saw what the next technique was. IT seemed a bit ridiculous, however she could not deny its potential usefulness. It was bound to throw her opponents off guard and surprise the heck out of them. It would also make her end up losing a blade. She didn’t take long to decide that perhaps it would be best to wait for a “Must need” scenario if every using it. Or… just making sure she had more then one weapon when acting this out.
Sighing she figured she may as well give it a try. It was part of the style after all and she needed to learn them all before moving onto the next stage. Dropping her blade the hilt fell downwards where it would be meant by her foot. Her kick protecting the weapon off in the distance. The dummy was missed by quite a long shot. Aiming was surely a must and possibly not that easy with how this was being done. Rin would continue working on it until her aim was somewhat acceptable. Even if she didn't hit her target it could be enough of a distraction to land another move. [Last Minute Rain 2/2]
Looking up into the dojo Rin needed to find someone to help her with this next move. If she could use it on a dummy it would be great but dummies didn't breathe... how could she synchronize her breath with something that didn't have one? Finding one of the instructors there for the purpose of helping she explained her task. Just as was expected the woman agreed and walked to the center of the dojo with Rin.
Getting in sych with someones breathing was extremely difficult. The further away they were the harder it was for Rin to understand their breathing. Fortunately for her, being also a medic she had a good understanding of the human body and knew where to look to get indications of their breathing movement. It took her some time before finally getting the indication of when she was going to be attacked, finally evading a painful blow and succedding at yet another move. Metal clashed on the ground as Rin dropped her blade yet again. This was technique was proving more troublesome then the girl would have preferred. The objective was to surprise her target by swinging, only to purposely drop the weapon in mid motion and picking it up with the other hand. Timing was of essence as well as not tripping on her own feet in doing so. There were times where she would not catch the blade or trip on her feet as she attempted to make the blow with the last hand.
Clash after clash rang on in the dojo as Rin continued a bit stubbornly at it. She wasn’t going to let this technique beat her. Determined her eyes glared down at her wooden opponent. This was going to be the one! Running forward the girl brought her blade up in the air, bringing it diagonally down at the doll inches from its fake torso. Her hand loosened its grip allowing the blade to slip out of her right hand. Left hand caught it, her body twisting in order to finish the move in the opposite direction of its original attack. This time she had done it. [Summer Rain 2/2]
Stepping back from the doll Rin couldn’t help but smile as she succeded in the last technique. Once you had it down it didn’t seem that hard. Now to move on to the next on, one for her defense. Offense was not the most important thing in a match. If you couldn’t defend properly or dodge you may as well throw in the towel. Blade in hand she slowly reversed the hold so rather then being in front of her, it was parallel to her arm.
Eyes closed Rin took advantage of the time she had to prepare in the dojo versus what she would on a battle fields, slowly feeling the way her chakra gathered. From head to toe it moved embedding itself into her blade which glowed in a windy essence. Of the elements she could use she decided wind would be a great one to block attacks. Once ready her arm and hand moved swiftly, swirling the blade in front of her as the chakra was released. A shield of wind forming for a brief amount of time before dissipating. [Splashing Rain 2/2]
Rin sat down on to the floor feeling a bit drained from all the chakra use. Unlike many Buki, the one she was specializing in focused on more than stamina, it also needed chakra. It was the combination of both resources of energy that made this deadly style what it was. If she was going to maintain her strength in battle she was going to insure she had enough of both to last her a while in battle.
First Rin just sat there her eyes closed as she meditated. She allowed herself to feel and understand how her chakra flowed in her body. The more she knew how to summon this energy to her disposal the better it would be for her. Sometimes one got tired because they used too much chakra at a time thinking they had more than they did. By knowing how much she had, by feeling its flow, Rin could control it much better.
Knowing how much she had to use wasn’t enough, sh e needed to stimulate its growth. How would one do that? By using it of course. The same way one gets used to running a marathon, by pushing their body to the limit. Only be forcing yourself to go over what you were used to would you grow to have more. Unconcerned about recovering from her training Rin stood back on her feet. She was already a bit fatigued so it was the perfect moment to push her chakra even further.
Rin decided to take advantage of training her chakra to continue perfecting some techniques she’d learned both jutsu and complex buki. She began with her bloodline. Calling forth her clouds Rin would use snow jutsu after snow jutsu giving herself no time to recover any chakra in between attacks. Each time one was released she could feel energy leave her, becoming weaker at the moment. Moving on to a more buki aspect of her training she would make bursts of chakra erupt from various points in her body, legs, arms, hands, anywhere that could be needed for a strike.
She refused to give up. As tired as her muscles became the girl would continue onward. There was no point in pushing yourself if you were to drop over the moment something became the slightest bit painful. Exhaustion and pain was all in the mind in a way. If you didn’t focus on it, or if you were determined to move onward it seemed much less than what it perhaps was in reality. Maybe... that is the secret to chakra… was it just all in a persons mind? The more training one had and determination of their soul, the more they had to use? Perhaps no one would ever find out.

Deep breathes calmed down Rin’s spirit as her chakra focused and gathered close to her feet. This next technique when her father performed it in front of her long ago made him go extremely fast. At the young age she’d been it looked like “magic” but now she fully understood how he had done it. His explination at the time lost in the young childs awe.
Not used to going at a fast pace Rin was fairly certain it would not be easy to grasp at first. She also was going to need to be careful with her surroundings. Tripping at such a momentum didn’t seem very pleasant. Her feet glowed as the coating of chakra finished and all that was left was the first step, daring to try out something new.
Taking up a runners position the girl waited until she felt like she had plenty of space before her. Pushing off one heel the force given by her chakra threw her quickly off balance. Before one step was even placed on the ground Rin’s face nearly hit the ground. She barely managed to react fast enough to put her hands down. Perhaps this was going to be a bit harder then she initially thought.
Again and again Rin practiced. Her falls were frequent, especially when trying to change her direction. However bit by bit the girl slowly began to get the hang of it. Unused to it, her mind was left with a vague sense of dizziness and seeing what was before her without being blurred was straining on her eyes. She knew though as she kept going at it she would one day master it completely. For now though she would be satisfied in knowing she could move and looked like a blur. [Innocent Rain 4/4]
As Rin looked into the next move she was glad she had learned the previous one. Rather then a continue movement of fast speed this one was in bursts and had a clear offensive purpose towards it. Closing her eyes she tried looking back to when she watched her father train so many times at their home. As much as she tried she couldn’t seem to bring up the scene, she either didn’t remember or he never showed her.
There was nothing to fear for Rin felt she would figure it out on her own. After all when working on the forth stage of a bukujutsu it was only normal to assume you weren’t just a beginner at it. The description of the technique was clear enough. Timing was of key importance, but wasn’t mentioned. It was a good thing Rin was smart enough to pick up on that small matter.
Blade in hand Rin took in a slow breath allowing her mind to recover from the last fast paces move she performed. Wooden dummy in front of her, the girls feet slid into a position where she’d be read to “pounce” at any moment. Chakra gathering in her body the girl finally pushed off her feet in a swift burst of speed. Landing on her foot a few steps onwards she burst again in speed moving off to the right as if she was dodging an oncoming attack.
The process continued although the strain on her body was beginning to be felt she pushed herself onward. In battle no one would give her time to rest so she would have to train to her max now in order to have the resistance in battle. With one final burst of speed Rin come in at the wooden dummy. Blade engulfed in her chakra as a result from the bursts she thrust it as hard as she could into the dummy. Rin had come from her mission in time to see some of the fights but the first ones were missed by her. Her objective was to speak to the Hokage on her sucess but he was busy with the tournament. Rin walked by to see how it was however the crowds were already large and finding a good spot would be impossible. The girl ended up just walking down to the dojo where she sat ouside remembering the last time to trained in there. Her peace would end fast as something loud was heard in the distance. What was going on at the sparring grounds? Something didn't feel right. Rin stood there on alert for a moment wondering if she should check it out for it seemed out of control for a tournament.

Emi walked into the dojo and smiled, this was better. Not too many people. She walked over to one of the dummies and took her stance then activated her byakūgan. She gathered chakra within her palm before smacking the dummy a good one.[1/2] She grumbled when she just knew it wasn't right. She took a deep breath and calmed herself. She put her hand out palm outward and hit the dummy again. [2/2]{Shōtei [ Palm Bottom ] Learned} That one had felt right. She smiled and nibbled on her lip a bit before taking her stance once more. The dummy had no vital points, but she knew where the were.[1/2] She thrust her hand out and a vacuum shell was created. It went outward from her and hit the vital points. She gave an even bigger grin at that; she would definitely show her brothers a thing or two.[2/2]{Hakke Kūshō [ Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm] Learned} Had she actually liked her brothers the next technique would be a lot easier. As it were they liked to use it on her whenever they could catch her unawares. She calmed herself and let the anger flow out of her. [1/2] It was not needed at this time. She gathered chakra once again and used the same technique just this time with both hands. The dummy caved in on itself slightly as it was hit and dents appeared.[2/2]{Hakke Kūhekishō [ Eight Divination Signs Vacuum Wall Palm] Learned} Emi looked at the dummy and not having moved from her stance opened almsot every tenketsu in her body. She released the chakra and about all she got was a gentle breeze. She grumbled and stomped her foot.[1/2] She took her stance again and gave a growl. She opened her tenketsu once more then released the chakra in one blast. The dummy was knocked off where it stood and landed on the far wall.[2/2]{Jūkenpō Ichigekishin [ Gentle Fist Art One Blow Body ] Learned} Thank you, finally. She said to herself, happy that she was getting somewhere.

Making his way into the academy his eyes scanned the room looking for anyone or anything of interest. He didnt feel like reporting back to the hokage just yet. Instead he decided to occupy himself with something else he enjoyed training. But before he could begin his training his eyes fell upon a girl, a very beautiful girl. He watched her stomp her foot and the dummy go sliding away from her. That was an interesting trick to be sure. Being bored after all he decided to find out. Making his way over to the woman he dipped his head causing his crimson hair to flop out of place before he brushed it back,"Hello there."

Emi saw the shinobi before he entered as her byakugan was still active then smiled and waved at him, Hi, if you'll excuse me a moment I only have a few more techniques to learn. She said the poilteness of her noble upbringing coming to the surface. She turned back to the dummies and opened all of the tenketsu in her body. She then spun and knocked a few of them to where they were tilting off the stands they were attached to, but they should have been blown back. [1/2] She stood straight and popped her back. She would get it this time. She once again opened the tenketsu and spun this time knocking all of the dummies that were close to her back.[2/2]{Hakkeshō Kaiten [ Eight Trigrams: Heavenly Spin ] Learned} She smiled and took her fighting stance in front of one of the dummies. She gathered her chakra in her palms and struck the dummy the first time twice in a row. Two. She then settled back and hit the dummy again, twice in succession once again. Four. She then hit him four times and then eight to make sixteen. finally she hit the dummy another sixteen times in each point she knew.[2/2]{Hakke Sanjūni Shō [ Eight Trigrams: Thirty-Two Palms ] Learned} She didn't stop there, but began her strikes once again. Two, then four, eight, sixteen. She smiled as she hit it with the last sixteen.[1/4] Thirty-two. She then started all over. She had to make another thirty-two, hit every point. Block the chakra.[2/4] Block the movement. Make them weak because you are not. She may be a woman, but she was stronger than her brothers.[3/4] Isn't that why she was the heir and not her brothers? Or was it just because she was the one who could bear the children? She growled at the thought and the sixty-fourth strike made the dummy shatter. [4/4] I got it. She turned back to the shinobi, and nodded in his direction for respect. Excuse me for my rudeness, but I needed to finish that. I am Emi Hyūga. You are?

Hotaru took a few steps back to allow her all the room she would ever need. He watched her move with grace and he had to admit she was beautiful but he couldnt afford to let his mind linger on that to long. Once she was finished with her training or at least looked like she was finished with her training he dipped his head again,"Hotaru Ruzume. You do not need to apologize. Training is an important part in growing strong simple as that. Its a pleasure to meet you Miss Hyuuga. Ive never met someone from your clan before and now i know the rumors are true."

Emi looked at Hotaru and smiled. Hopefully they are all good rumors. I would hate for the clan to be slandered. Are you a new shinobi as I am? Really in all honesty she didn't care about the clan being slandered, she just didn't want anyone really knowing about who she was within the clan.

With a smile hotaru pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it with a snap of his fingers. Taking a quick drag he smiled,"All good rumors I assure you. Rumors of skill, courage..... Beauty." After a moment he exhaled the smoke down and away from the two before shrugging in response to her question,"I am a gennin yes but I am not new. I actually just got back from a mission. My fifth on my own. What about you? I would remember a woman like yourself."

Emi nodded and watched him smoke. She cringed, she didn't know why anyone wanted to put so many chemicals in their body when there were much better things. She kept up her smile though.I did not mean to offend, I am a genin as well. I've lived in Konoha all my life, but was only just now able to join and graduate from the academy.

Smiling a bit he took another drag as he shook his head,"No offense was taken. You should be proud of yourself. Despite just recently graduating you have already taken a great step to growing strong. I dont know why but I feel as if you have something to prove. Watching you train there was something driving you. What it is, is your business but if you would share it with me I would be honored."

Emi sighed and nodded, I am a Hyūga noble. My brothers and father see me as nothing more than a brood mare to carry on the line. I have more of an affinity for our techniques and they were......abusive because I would train and be better than them.

Taking another drag from his smoke he sighed. He had heard that before and hated every single word of it. Shaking his head he began,"A noble like yourself should be treated better. Just because you are a female doesnt mean you can be any less of a shinobi than any male. I have a feeling your family is in for a surprise when your potential is fully realized. A princess of the Hyuuga is a force to be reckoned with both in terms of the hearts and upon the battlefield." He truly meant every word he said to her.

Emi smiled and shook her head. Then remembering she still had it activated, deactivated her byakūgan.Some families are different. My mother never bucked back at my father and they see it as a woman should never be allowed on the battlefield. They see it as a weakness on their part.
