Daitomi was close behind on Kinpaku's coat tails, battered and bruised as she was. Whether or not she wanted Kinpaku to believe she was in better shape than she really was, Kin didn't quite believe as such. She'd fared far better than most on hand, and she wouldn't believe the paper girl was quite so battered. Daitomi was more than eager to assist. Glancing to the tower, she sighed somewhat. "Daitomi, if you'll pull together a stretcher, I'll ask you and Ouninushi to take this young man to the hospital. We'll need to discuss your situation in due time, Samuru," she replied with a sigh, as the ANBU appeared to inform her of the presence of major business in her office yet. "I'm sure you're aware of Ouninushi and his skill base, should something be necessary."

Dai's eyes met Samura for the moment he stared at her. It didn't take a genius to know the boy wanted to or was willing she existed. She rolled her eyes as he chose to ignore her and turned them to Kinpaku as the woman post to her. "Yes, ma'am." She replied before extending her arm out. Outlines of paper edges quickly appeared upon the bruises and dirt covered arm. Paper sheets began peeling away as many more began crafting the stretcher. She looked at Samuru. "You'll bleed out if you dare walk the whole way to the hospital." Dai stepped forward and the "stretcher" moved with her. It was contented to her Chakra. "I'm sure you wouldn't like my help getting into it." She mumbled as her eyes were off elsewhere. Not making contact with Samura's.

His situation. Ah yes, the situation that the ******** Myurai had put him in. That situation? Samuru's teeth bit into the side of mouth as he held back a reply that would likely have gotten him smacked upside the head or worse. As Daitomi began to create a stretcher, he eyed it wearily, feeling the blood drying on his leg. Indeed, he looked and felt like s**t. But was it enough to accept Daitomi's help? His gaze went from the stretcher to the sky, wondering at the insane machinations of the gods that would put him in this position. A woman he disliked, a village that was likely going to be his prison and here he was, on his way to the one place he hated more then anything. Going willingly to a hospital....Dad is rolling over in his grave, laughing at me. Thinking of his father....who had that stranger been who had known his father's name? Samuru looked back, past the gates, and let a bit of curiosity enter him before he heard Daitomi's comment "I traveled from Konoha to here with worse wounds then these. I'm fairly certain I could walk to the hospital." came the sharp as a dagger reply. He really didn't ever let up on his anger or dislike of her, did he?...however...He had saved her life a couple times during the initial attack. Samuru figured he could let her repay him for a few of them and, with a carefulness that indicated he was more hurt then he let on, he actually got in the stretcher. Well, rolled in was more like it. Setting one hand on the side, he slid in on his side and pulled his legs up, feeling fiery pain rush up his side in a wave that almost had him blacking out. He held onto consciousness, barely, and gripped the side of the stretcher, eyes shut tight. He'd have nothing to say for the trip to the hospital, his entire focus on keeping the darkness at bay. Truth be told...he was a little afraid that he wouldn't be alone in that darkness.

Dai didn't speak a word as Samuru lipped off. What was his deal? She closed her eyes and sign softly. "And I helped you then too." She spoke softly under the sigh. She crossed her arms and coxed and eye brow at him as the he batted the thought around. Dai watched as Samuru rolled into the stretcher. Getting settled, Dai waited on his royal highness to lay still before moving. Once he was still, Dai stepped forward and began their way to the hospital.
Myurai landed at the gates as he patted one of his fellow anbu on the back. He took one last look at the village before he slipped on his mask and slid his scarf up over his face. From this moment on he was no longer a member of Kumogakure, though sanctioned. He handed his headband to the anbu who assured him he would take excellent care of it. Myurai clasped the mans forearm as he whispered," Strength and honor my friend." To which the man responded in kind. He smiled under his mask as he headed out. Now it was time to be what was needed of him. A blade and nothing more.
Haituro walked up to the gate looking around, it seemed everyone had either died or left to get supplies to repair the village. Haituro supposed he should do the same. [ Exit to Raijin bay ]
Haituro walked toward the gate with the convoy in tow keeping his eyes peeled for anything funny that may be going on. "We seem to be good. Head to the village square." Haituro smiled and stretched his sore side to keep it from stiffening up. Haituro slowly walked away from the gate to the worlds crossroads, so many things to buy, so many things.
Having made his way back to the village Haituro figured he should check on the convoy. "Home sweet frickin home." Haituro sighed and walked through the gate looking around at the destruction that lay around the village. "Damn it."
The smell of fire and ashes filled his nose as Myurai walked through the gates package still tucked safely away. Reaching the gates he held his hand up to the anbu who responded in kind as he made his way over to the anbu. Myurai signed the log and smiled as the anbu handed him back his headband. He tied it back in place resting around his neck. It was good to be back in the village. Despite the heavy smoke that still rolled from the village it was still his home and he loved it dearly.

-----тhis was the furthest I'd gone into another country's territory, and I couldn't help being on high alert. Kumogakure was a sort of ally to Kirigakure, but they were probably still on edge from the recent attack. I couldn't blame them. Approaching the gate, I still held my distance, sitting Kasai down to wait for the others. I slid off of the tiger's back and sat on the ground, leaning against her. All I had to hope is that they would get there quickly.

Puppet Description: This puppet was built for attack and speed. It is built of mostly bamboo externally, but the internal bone structure is steel. This gives it power behind its attacks. A chakra steel orb where its heart would be allows it to absorb chakra from Shadow for uses as either a blast or camouflage. Bladed steel claws and teeth give it a devastating bite. Kasai's body is pretty much solid, with only a couple of compartments carved within, one for holding ink, and another for a spool of wire. This makes it weigh something close to 800 lbs (362.87 kg). To make up for this, hydraulics in its legs allow for easier movement despite this heavy weight.
Mechanism Summary: • An orb of chakra steel at the heart of the puppet can store up to 100 chakra, as applied from Shadow. Chakra cannon located in mouth. The rank of the blast is determined by the amount of chakra released (i.e. 5 chakra = E-rank up to 80 chakra = A-rank). • Can become camouflaged with surroundings using 80 of stored chakra (equivalent to A-ranked Meisai Gakure no Jutsu [Camouflage Concealment Technique]). Chakra signatures can still be detected by sensors and doujutsu such as Sharingan and Byakugan. • Reflectors on the points where the strings attach to the puppet attaches the strings likewise to either Shadow or another of his puppets. This allows him to move himself or a puppet instantaneously out of harm's way. • Puppet contains a mechanism to allow it to combine with other puppets. By reactivating the strings (costs the same as Kugutsu no Jutsu), the puppet disassembles and attaches to various parts of another puppet. The claws of Kasai become blades of four large axes, and the limbs an extra set of arms to wield them. -Army of One Discipline- • Large ink compartment in stomach. Used as emergency ink for larger Ukyo techniques. 9x9x6 inches. • Compartment at base of neck opens to a wire dispenser. Used to ensnare opponents and draw them closer. Holds up to one hundred feet of wire. • Hydraulics in limbs allow for increased agility and speed despite weight of puppet.
Aria yawned again as they climbed even higher into the mountain. Daring to peek over the edge of the cart, she saw as the pathway quickly melted off onto a steep slope leading down to the valley far below them. "Eep," she squeaked, ducking back into the cart, her heart thumping wildly. The highest she had ever been was up a tree in the training grounds, down at sea level. Looking over at Chibutsu, it appeared that he was still fast asleep, making little 'fweh fweh' sounds.

-----so tired. I really needed to find a way to sleep easier. I hated being an insomniac. Jolting upright at a new sound, I realized I had started to nod off waiting for Aria and the merchant to arrive. I hadn't meant anything by it. It just happened. -----The sound I'd heard was the clatter of hooves and the creaking of wheels. Watching as the horses pulled the cart up the sloping road of the mountain, I pushed myself to my feet, dusting off with my free hand, the other still occupied by Kasai's strings. It seemed they had made it in one piece. That was a relief. I stifled a yawn, covering my mouth with my hand, and waited patiently for the cart to roll closer before stepping out to join them. I gestured toward the closed gates. This was as far as we could take the merchant, but I could tell from his expression he suddenly wasn't so sure about finding out if his family was indeed still alive. I hoped for his sake they were. I'd lost my parents, so I understood his fear.
Takumi -----The trip was a long one, and weighed in silence that only grew heavier when Kumogakure came into sight. Fear for his family rippled off of him in waves, and he suddenly wasn't so sure he wanted to find the truth. He'd gotten a vague idea of the soldiers from the attack against them, and the unconscious genin in his cart was only a little proof of what they were capable of. Takumi was beginning to think the boy wasn't going to wake up. -----Shadow's tiger puppet was the first he spotted, shortly followed by the much smaller boy standing before it. He looked a little disheveled, but the kid had been traveling almost constantly for the past several days, apparently. That was a life he didn't envy. As a merchant, he traveled a lot, but it wasn't at such a pace he was worn to the bone. -----Takumi followed Shadow's gesture to the gates, which stood closed. He was in a hurry to leave, so the merchant didn't keep him waiting. Climbing down from the cart, Takumi turned back to Aria, offering a hand to help her down. "Well, it's been a pleasure traveling with you. I owe you all my life, and I wish you all the luck in the world. Hopefully this will end a happy story for us both." He gave her a sad smile.

Aria gladly took Takumi's offered hand as she climbed down. His hands may have been worn from the ravages of time, but his heart was made of gold. Letting go, she patted her yukata's wrinkles as best she could, though the majority of them would have to be ironed out. Shifting her family heirlooms within their back position, they clinked together enough to suggest their hefty weight. Some day in the future she might be able to wield them with expertise, but for now they were just extra weight. The white, fluffy clouds rolled overhead in the vast blue sky, signaling an approach to the mid-afternoon. The shrine maiden shivered in her light, breezy clothing. Not only was it hard to breathe up here, but it was colder too! Quickly thanking Takumi for his services, she turned to Shadow as she rubbed her bare arms. "I could try to haul Chibutsu-san home on my back, but it will be a much longer journey home if he persists on sleeping. What should we do, sempai?" Aria was worried for Chibutsu: this was both his and her first venture out of the village, and he had decided to sleep for most of it.

-----вesides the fact I couldn't say anything, I wasn't sure what to say to Aria, so I blinked at her instead. She didn't have to carry Chibutsu all the way back. Even if she was bigger than I was, it would be cruel to make her do that. Raising my hand to point over my shoulder, I gestured at the giant tiger sitting stationary behind me. -----Takumi chuckled and I shifted my gaze to him. "I think he means he has it covered, missy." He turned back to the cart and carefully picked up the unconscious genin, carrying him over to me. I shifted Kasai, laying her down. Surprised by the sudden movement, the merchant hesitated, but just as gently set Chibutsu down on the tiger's back. He then turned to me. "Like I said, I really appreciate your help. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for the three of you." He nodded toward Chibutsu. "I hope he'll be alright." Stepping away, he headed back to his cart. -----With the boy taken care of, I likewise climbed onto Kasai's back and, patting the fur behind me, looked to Aria. This would be a lot faster than walking, given she was willing. Regardless, I started off back toward Kirigakure.
