Matsu heard out the Hokage's ordrers and it seemed that he had caught his little gesture towards his Jounin. Nodding in confirmation of his orders, Matsu glanced to Hitomi. The expression on her face said many things, though. She seemed to dread the assignment and Matsu found it amusing. As the Hokage stood to leave, Matsu bowed and moved aside to let him through. Once he was gone, Hitomi introduced herself, her lack of enthusiasm very clear. Matsu smiled "Don't worry about it, I'm here to help out not burden you. Maybe we can go something for lunch like the Hokage had said? I've traveled a long way and have had dried fish and water as supper for the entire trip. " Matsu spoke sincerely, having truly been hungry since he arrived at the gates. I'd also like to know more about the rogues from the village. I assume that is what the Hokage meant when he talked about battle tactics.

Hitomi's eyes widened in embarrassment as Matsu spoke, and she immediately shook her head. "Oh no no no, it's not you! It's just that a lot of unexpected things have been happening lately, some good and some not so good. The stress has just been piling up. Lunch should do the trick, though. Dried fish and water..." The girl shuddered at the mere thought of it and headed to the doors of the office. "Ramen sound good? Konoha is famous for it, you won't be disappointed," she smiled and allowed her shoulders to relax a bit. 'Battle strategies with an experienced Jounin...couldn't have been more perfect.' Hitomi opened the door and stepped out, holding it open for Matsu with a grin. She was glad that the homey atmosphere Konoha provided was beginning to calm her down and allowed her usual bouncy personality to suddenly come back. "Hyūga, huh? So you have pretty eyes to!" She grinned, hoping that calling his eyes 'pretty' would annoy him.

Matsu felt relieved to hear that Hitomi hadn't been referring to him. Apparently, the Jounin had a lot on her plate and had been under stress for some time now. Following her to the door, Matsu noticed how feminine her figure was and decided to look ahead to the door, clearing his throat. "Ramen sounds perfect." Matsu said, not looking at Hitomi as he walked out the Hokage's office with an expression that tried to hold his embarrassment down. "Thank you." He did appreciate her courtesy as well. Hot Ramen sounds really good, actually. Matsu thought as he imagined the bowl of noodles and vegetable. Yeah, with beef and green onions. The sight of Hitomi's grin suddenly drew the same from him. She spoke of his eyes as pretty and Matsu made a questioning gesture by furrowing his eye brows but smiled all the same. What does she mean 'too'? Matsu could tell that his time in the Leaf was going to be pleasant but he had a strange headache on the back of his head. As he gave way for Hitomi to pass him and lead the way, motion from something dark caught his eye but when he looked to the corner where the hall turned down to the stair case, there was no one there. Matsu didn't find it strange, someone simply walking by, although he though to have seen a girl with long dark hair.

Ayame strided into the office with her thumbs hooked into her pocket, and a small bounce in her step. She walked casually towards the front desk and flashed a quick smile at the secretary. "Hi. Look, I need a headband please, if you don't mind." She asked calmly, tapping her fingers against the desk lightly. She kept a calm and level-headed composure, as she didn't want to set a bad example in front of officials. Already in her head she was planning out what she'd do next in her training, and how she would go about it. She was made for this and she was very analytical that way. In no way did she appear it, though. As she waited she let her eyes wander around the room, observing everything going on around her, humming to herself in a very small, inconspicuous tune.

Rising with a stretch and a yawn, the man who, to both the general public and himself, had been known as Ooeda for the longest time, began to step toward the office which he'd been peering at for what now seemed like weeks. Making his way through the building, escorted by signs and the pointing fingers of various high ranking shinobi, Ooeda had made rather short work of what was a rather mazing complex of paths, turns, and corner offices. Giving a small, and empty smile, he lofted his hand to the Hokage's doors, and tapped with his bent index and middle fingers.

After waking The clone looked up and saw the girl asking for a headband."You are one of the new genin then?" He looked at her with a cold and calm stare. He then reached into a satchel and pulled out a headband."Here you go."He handed her the headband."Congratulations on becoming a genin of Konohagakure, train and work hard and make something out of yourself." He then heard a tap on the door."Enter."

The Anbu arrived with Alex in the Hokage's office."Wait here to speak with the Hokage."

Alex jerked her arm away from the ANBU and just looked around the room, she just wanted to do what she had to do and leave. She had a gol for herself and she knew that having to stop by here was a waste of her time. This being her first time in a real large village this was confusing for her.

Tapping his chin, Ooeda knocked once more, his ears perked as to calculate the echo. "Oh my... New arrivals, I believe, but it doesn't seem that the Hokage is amongst them..." Smiling and sighing, he turned on his heel, his back to the office door, and re-assumed his previous meditative seat. "I will wait, once more..."

Ayame looked up when she was addressed, not directly, of course. She looked at him for a moment, a little skeptical, but never the less nodded. "Yes. Thank you." Was all she said, bowing her head a little. Keeping a cool and calm composure, she took her leave out of the office. She intended to make more than something out of her self. That she would make sure of. As she walked she tied the headband around her waist, and went on her way to resume training.

Orbezus stood in front of the desk, mindfully fulfilling his duty. Two people were still waiting on the Hokage, who had taken a break to train two of his students. "What can I do for you?" Orbezus asked in his usual chilly tone, his eyes glowing a faint blue behind his mask.

With a single twist of the nob of the office door, Ooeda made his way into Orbezus' sights, gave a light bow, and took the nearest seat, awaiting his current business to be over.

Alex looked at Orbezus and crossed her arms, she knew that she would have to come here eventually...but not by escort. For the time being, she would have to put revenge in the back of her mind and just get done what she had too. She leaned against the wall and just waited for the Hokage...whenever he deciced to show himself.
