Sha hung in silence in the bottomless pit,he had been chained there for ages it seemed.He was pale and gre thin,he ate nothing and drank nothing.They were starving him,and if he asked for something to just wet his lips.They beat him,they beat him hard.Sometimes Sheroka would send three to five of the biggest beastly guards to pummel him.There was a platform that was activated everytime a guard came in to give him his daily whipping.As sha was getting whipped he watched the platform how it came in and how it came out.Little did he know there was a guard outside who pushed some sort of key to activate the platform.After Sha was beaten he'd get kicked over and over and over again.Then forced to labor bleeding,the lack of blood caused him to get light headed and blackout.When that happened he was thrown back inside his pit of hopelessness and chained back up for days and days on end.Then,when he recovered,he get beaten endlessly.The beating Sha could get used to,but it was the never ending memories of his half brother being slaughtered in front of his eyes that almost drove him to insanity.He would frequently remember Keely, Tassa,Ariya and Gyvex...where were they?He would constantly think about how Keely was holding up and how Tassa was ruling her kingdom.The water imp,felt tears form,not from the memories of them but from the stinging of his back.His skin was torn open,raw, and he was sure by now it was infected.God only knows what was on those slimy,smelly,cold and wet stone walls that made up the pit.He found himself looking down into the darkness just wishing it would engulf him so he could leave this place.

[[Hey guys I'm back from Greece! I've been jet lagged for the past few days as my flight was longer then expected and delayed twice. (Three flights) I'm back though so expect me on more]]


Tassa smiled at Sequoia, and let go of her hand, she stood "Thankyou to all of you for your help, I'm sorry the battle had to take place on your territory but I had no choice in the matter, as Rascona does not care where he hunts." She nodded to each of the centaurs. "I'm very appriciative of your help and if you need anything of the werecat kingdom, feel free to ask."

She paused, Tassa had one more thing she needed to do before returning, and that was to find Sha and Keely and protect them from Sheroka. Knowing the the woman would not dare mess with a kingdom much stronger in magic then her own, let alone the queen, Tassa hoped to find Sha without trouble...

"I need more help. I need to find the north mountains, my close friend is being held against his will there, and I need to find him. If you know of Sequoia then please give me more information. If any of you wish to join me, then I would be very glad to know that a healer would be by hand."

Tassa took a deep breath and looked to Sequoia, the girl had no family, no real experience in the world outside her centaur home. The centaurs would need her for a healer, and going on a quest with the werecat queen was another way to gain it. Also... it would keep her safe from Rascona... Tassa could feel it in her viens that he was still alive. He was out there and wasn't afriad to come back and seek vengence once again. It was plain the wolf had no legence to his queen, nor to a sense of peace.

Keely started a small fire up in the Almurus Mountains she had followed those big,nasty guards up here when they took Sha.That was about three days ago,but she got lost when she tried finding the secret entrance to the mountains.Keely pulled her knees up to her chest rocking back and forth singing softly,"Haerus...Fyrith.....Taleba...god of light protect my Sha..please..."she let a tear escape her eye.The brown haired elf trembled a bit at the cold gusts of wind,she put up a light barrier around the fire to keep it from blowing out.

"Your friend is missing?" Sequoia gasped softly, feeling sorry for the Werecat Queen. "I'm so sorry...Unfortunately, I know little about the world outside this wood. But do you have any possible idea what might have happened to him- who might've taken him?"

Tassa sighed happily, it would be good to have the healer by her... Her injuries still stung, and in case Sha or Keely were in desperate need of it, it would be good to have Sequoia near by. Tassa smiled and nodded to the other centaurs. "Thankyou for your help. I would prefer to go right now, I need to find Keely my friend, she is a white light elf, although rather young... And Sha is a water nymph, he was taken to the northern mountains past wolf territory by a woman named Sheroka. If you have any knowledge to that name then perfect."

"Sequoia say your goodbyes I'll wait outside for you. Thankyou for escorting me."

Tassa smiled and said her goodbyes to each of the centaurs, before waiting outside, Sequoia would want her own goodbyes, and Tassa would only be in the way. She smiled and looked in her pouch, throwing the hatchet away from her. It was rightfully Rascona's and he would know she was alive, and waiting for another fight another time, just... maybe not now...

Sequoia stared after the Werecat Queen for a moment, stupified.
She...wants me...to go with her?
She had never been outside of the centaur territory. The prospect of going out into the world was overwhelming- and...tantalizing. So many strange, fascinting new sights and people-
But at the same time, it was frightening. Leave? Go out into an unfamiliar world in the midst of a war? There were undoubtedly more malicious souls out there- and like Rasconsa, they certainly wouldn't hesitate to hurt, even kill her.
And...to leave her home? Nneka, the other centaurs- her family, her friends?
She turned with trembling hands to Nneka. "Nneka, I..."
Nneka's hand came down on her shoulder- firm, strong, comforting.
The centaur smiled at her. "...Go."
"But- the others-"
"I will tell them." Nneka's eyes were misty, tearing up. She leaned down and gave Nneka a peck on the forehead. "Go, Sequoia. Goodbye, my forest child."
Nneka's smiling face blurred through tears.
"...Goodbye."

Tassa tapped her foot in annoyance. What was she going to do when she found Sha? March into the palace of Sheroka and demand her friend back? Would she even be able to find Keely? Did she understand the danger she was putting herself in? Tassa shook the thoughts from her head. She would find her friends and would protect them no matter what the costs were.

Tassa looked in and smiled. Sequoia had never been out on her own, but Tassa would look out for the girl. She was young and this would give her experience in the field of healing. She would be her ward for a time, and maybe when they met up with Sha and Keely they could teach her some more about healing then what she knew now. Tassa stood and opened the door for Sequoia, it was time to leave, and hopefully her friends would be safe.

Tassa was waiting for her.
Sequoia looked into Nneka's eyes a final time. The centaur took her hand and squeezed it reassuingly, then stepped back.
She took a deep breath and turned to Tassa.
"...Let's go."

Tassa nodded and tracked north, she hoped to find Keely first, and then free Sha, but Keely needed to be found. She explained her plans to Sequoia. "I'm not sure if you've ever been far north in the mountains, but no worries, we will be barely along the edge of wolf territory. Besides only a white wolf would be stupid enough to face a lionness. We must find Keely before continuing onwards, and she will be searching for Sha as they are like brother and sister. Although she's a powerful white elf, she is extremely young and can still barely comprehend how far her powers go."

Tassa broke off remembering when Keely was just discovering the tip of her magic, but shook her head. She stopped by a pond before explaining what she wished to do. "Sha is a water nymph, and I am an elementalist. I'm just going to take a second and contact him..."

Tassa slipped into the pool and let herself succumb to the water, closing her eyes and letting herself drift she grasped Sha's thoughts before responding. "I have a healer with me, we are on our way to finding Keely and then you... There was a hold up with the white wolf, Rascona... hopefully he will know to stay away for now... Don't panic and hold out a little longer, we're coming as fast as we can, just tell me anything I need to know about Sheroka later. I'm planning on fighting her... Good luck!"

She stepped out of the water without a word and continued onwards, although she was tracking fast, she still smiled half heartedly. "Where did you learn your skills as a healer?" She asked the girl quietly, pressing on with some small talk.

"In the wintertime," Sequoia reminisced, "when I was very little...I slipped on a patch of ice that was hidden under the snow and fell down the side of the hill. I hit a rock and crunched my ankle, but the same night that Nneka brought me back to the village, it healed. One of the older centaurs, Arion, was a healer, and he taught me to hone the art."
She watched, fascinated, as Tassa contacted her friend through the pool. White elves and water nymphs? How amazing...
"Sheroka? What- who- is that?"

Up in the Northern moutains of Almurus it was always dark and cold.The small elf shivered,she formed a barrier around herself and the fire.The brown haired white mage chanted a small light spell to brighten the wood around her but only temporarily that way she could see what she was doing and which way she should go next.

The "Sun spell"would only work in a place that was always dark and no light could reach it."Aerus Mathion Unteria Veshtu."Around her the skies brightened and for the first time she could see her hands in front of her face."Thank the goddess of light!"she squealed happily,"I did it! I did it! Yaaaaay!!!"She lowered her forcefield of light and blew out the fire."Oh wonderful warm sunlight!"Though the light would only last twenty-four hours.Keely's sun substitution spell reached around the whole moutain and part of the forest leading up towards the dangerous mountains.


Little did the joyful elf know that Sheroka noticed the sudden burst of light that lite up her mountains.

Tassa nodded and grinned at Sequoia's innocence. "Sheroka... hopefully we will meet her soon!" Tassa looked up at the bright light and rolled her eyes, Keely had always been slow on survival skills when it came to saving her butt from an evil goddess like creature. She trugged on faster hoping to God that no wolves... that Sheroka did not spot the bright gleam of light magic.

"See that dot?" Tassa called to Sequoia, "That's Keely, and we need to get there first!" She quickly grabbed the girls hand and wrist and pulled as she ran through the forest, making sure to watch her footing to not let the girl trip.
