Jack looked up to Lucy and watched her walk away. "Alright then. I'll watch over Sara for now," he said going back to eating. He made sure that Sara seemed fine and that if she got an allergy reaction, he would act quickly.

Jack turned to Sara and cleared his throat a bit. "Well...Mel is a long distant cousin of mine from my mother's side of the family. Though, she's more like a sister of mine," he lied to her. He felt if he told her the truth, she would feel strange about it.

Jack smiled to her and pat her back lightly. "I know how that feels. Mel's the only family I have left. Well, from the family I know of. My father didn't exactly like me so I ran away and moved in with Mel."

Jack sighed when he noticed he might have scared her. "I'm sorry for yelling at you, Sara. Bad memories about it all sometimes makes me yell by accident," he said softly, smiling softly and apologetically to her.
