Mizune blocked the attack and as the sword started to go threw the sword had a strong but small current to push the sword off to the side and Mizune slashed at Nowe's ribs

( Yeah, but he doesn't know that...or at least he didn't. )
Nowe cursed as his guess was dead wrong, and while he dodged the worst of the attack, he still withdrew with a bleeding wound. He pressed his hand to it, swearing under his breath. Well, that didn't work. An idea went to his mind though, and he ran forward. He repeated the attack, slicing his sword into the water, but as he did so he let a lightning current travel through it as well. I don't know how i do this, but I like it.

as the lightning touched the water Mizune let go of the chakra flow making the water land on the ground to splash and he quickly moved to strike at the the wound he made with a palm strike as another sword began to form in his other hand

Nowe took the hit, holding back a scream as activated his Shinra Tensei ability a second time. The force of gravity pushed against Mizune, blasting him back. Nowe stumbled a bit but regained his footing. To much chakra from that....I can't risk another one. I need to end this now.

A shiver ran up Kohane's back as she watched the fights down below. "Man there not letting up" she muttered watching closely. The two combatants were rather worse for wear and keep attacking one another. This tho was what it meant to progress to a Chunin but deep down Kohane didn't know if she was prepared for this.

Tayu felt the blood drain from her face as she watched the battle below. She looked over at Kohane and saw that her teammate looked much the same as she did. "I hope we don't end up having to fight each other, huh?" she said, "I'd give in right away. I don't want to...kill. If that's how far I have to go to be a chunin..." she trailed off. She knew she would fight to the death if she had to. It didn't matter who she was fighting. She just prayed it wouldn't be one of her teammates.

Koinu gulped as he watched the fight "I just hope I don't have to fight ether of them"
Mizune was thrown back to the wall from the Shinra Tensei his body was in complete pain but his face stayed the same he got up and ran at Nowe his sword spining like a saw and he slashed at Nowe's face

"Just give up already!" Nowe blocked the attack with his katana. Moving around, Nowe got a grip on Mizune with his free hand and tried throwing him over, hoping to pin him on the ground. If this worked, Nowe would hold his katana to Mizune's neck, both pinning him and insuring a Nowe's victory for the match without killing.

Mizune was knocked down then looked at Nowe his eyes seemed Empty "just finish it..."

Nowe stared down at Mizune, and his eye's returned to their blue color. He smiled lightly. "Not bad. Your right about the match being over, but I'm not gonna kill you." He said.
The referee walked in, announcing the end of the match and Nowe as the winner.
Nowe sheathed his katana and looked up at his teammates. He grinned and started walking towards the stands so they could start the next match. The computer picked the next two matches. Menendo vs. Kohane and Brume vs. Zane
( I've decided that, since everyone is waiting, we'll do two matches at once. Just imagine a wall dividing the field. )
