As they reached the gates, Bjorn would land and roll before standing at his full height in front of the Great black gates, coated in his steel as Grym landed and reverted to his normal form to stand beside him. With their far superior speed, they had reached the gates first and waited for the so far insolent genin, Nariko. As soon as she would get to the gates, Bjorn would move towards her and place his hand on her shoulder, “Look Nariko, I don’t care if you prefer to work alone, the Hokage wouldn’t have chosen to send both of us on this mission if it wasn’t something beyond the capabilities of a genin. I’m the senior rank here so I’m the one calling the shots and we can get through this mission a lot easier if we know what each other’s’ capabilities are and can figure out how to cover for each other. He said it was an S rank entity, so we’re in for a rough fight if or when it comes to that and charging into the situation blindly is more likely to get either or both of us killed than anything.” Bjorn was speaking with a serious tone and the girl would likely feel his claws press into her shoulder slightly though not enough to break the skin or cause harm. He was used to working alone as well, having never been on a squad in his entire time as a shinobi, but he still understood the benefits of teamwork when it could be done and preferred to not have to explain to Masahiro in the end why the genin that was sent with him didn’t make it back.

Description: The user, through a little combative understanding and sheer combative need, begins to understand the idea of moving and attacking on circles and angles. This way, they are able to circularly avoid attacks and danger, or simply slip off the angle off attack their opponent uses. When faced with a taijutsu and non-projectile based bukjutsu technique of D rank of lower, the user can simply expend that rank of stamina to augment a given technique of this style to perform a fast shift and dodge to avoid the technique. When faced with a taijutsu and non-projectile based bukjutsu technique of C rank or lower, the use can expand that rank of stamina to count as a defensive activation to perform a fast shift and dodge to avoid the technique. If used during a combination, this counts as one of the techniques.

This counts as a single offensive activation.

Description: In the jungle, combat is hectic, ferocious, and often brutal. To maximize their survivability, masters of Jing Shen Jie Fang utilize the principle of constant motion with all of their limbs, all the time and not get hung up in one action. By focusing on this principle, the user understands that by utilizing all their limbs during offense, as well as defense, that they can become an overwhelming force, like the roots of the jungle trees that smoother the ground. The user can now use their legs instead of their hands or weapons to defend an attack and perform combinations by using the stage 1 directions to defend the torso and lower body, leaving their hands free to engage and the attacker.

Description: The ability to reach out and touch your enemy while not having them touch you has been the very defining thing of modern combat. With no change in power, it can greatly increase the effectiveness of the user, allowing them to possibly land more strikes and attacks by distance alone.

Description: When combat occurs in the close quarters, and confined and chaotic location like the jungle, then the user needs to be able to move themselves effectively to make sure they are not surrounded or flanked by multiple opponents or a single opponent getting a lucky shot. By whipping and swimming their arms and limbs, the user can transition from outside to inside of the opponent, offering different angles and attacking opportunities while limiting the opponents options. This can also allow the user to slightly manipulate their opponent with defensive and parry techniques to make multiple opponents block each other, or risk hitting each other instead of the user.

As a hand was placed upon Nariko's shoulder she looked to the man. She couldn't remember his named for the life of her. then as he began to talk she remembered it again. Bjorn. Then he began to spout about his rank and how he was in charge of this mission. As her body still didn't give away anything she spoke softly. "I don't care." She said informing him of his rank and so on. "We're here to do a mission. Not waste time. If the hokage didn't think we could handle it as we were he wouldn't have sent us. He would have sent one of the squads that worked together for months instead of putting us together. And don't you worry about me. I'll hold my own." She said as she lifted his hand off of her shoulder by his finger and then rushed along heading in the direction of the base.
Taka walked up to the gate. She was dressed in her civilian clothes and carried a small box at her side, about hand sized. She awaited her genin's decisions as to whether they were going to come along or not.

Growling to themselves as Nariko rushed off on her own, Bjorn and Grym looked at each other and shrugged before Bjorn would speak to his partner “Fine, she thinks she can handle everything on her own, I won’t bother trying to keep her alive. If she gets herself killed, that’ll be her own damn fault. Let’s go Grym.” The tamer and his partner would then rush through the gates, running down the road towards the wilds of Fire country.

Rikijo arrived at the gates and saw that both the Squad Leader and member were there. He waved to both Kitai and Taka. He began to fix both his cloak and scarf, making it a bit more comfortable for him. He fixed his pouch as well as he approached them. He finally stopped just a few feet away from them and nodded."I ready to go if you are. I'm not backing down now sensei."

Kazumi walked through the gates of Konoha, thankful for all her training and her two and a half years of crash courses in stealth. She noticed that the ANBU didn't seem to be around the gate, though that didn't mean that they weren't. In fact, the wayward Senju had the distinct feeling that she was being watched anyway. But, luck seemed to be on her side, and she was allowed to pass through the gates undisturbed. Kazumi made her way through the gates and into the village proper for the first time in two and a half long years. The last time she had been here, she was sixteen, and left under the cover of darkness, and her little sister's carefully orchestrated distraction. Things seemed to have changed very little since then, but then, she had focused more on finding her lost brother, than on the going ons of the village. She winced and hoped that the Hokage wouldn't be too upset with her. Kazumi wasn't an idiot, she knew that what she did technically labeled her as a rogue shinobi, and by all rights she should be imprisoned or killed on sight. She sighed and followed the back roads to the Hokage's office.
A group of ANBU sat in the trees, their eyes focused on the girl as she attempted to return to the village. The actual ANBU at the podium had left only a few moments before to take a leak, leaving the others to cover for him. A single ANBU in a Kitsune mask seemed to have the attention of the others, and when a single ANBU attempted to break rank and chase in after the girl he shook his head. He knew this girl. It was the sister of Ryouichi Senju, a nin that another detachment of his men had been sent to retrieve. When the girl trespassed through the gates Foxy would put his finger to his ear and activate his radio.
"Hokage-sama. A missing-nin has returned to the village. Kazumi Senju has returned. I'll maintain a team presence watching her, but her directive gaze is upon your office. Expect company." The ANBU Captain spoke softly, as not to betray their position.
"... ..." Two short bursts of radio static with a short pause between them gave the ANBU the word that Masahiro had received their message and that he was not free to speak on the matter at the moment.

Taka's gaze would lock onto the senju as she moved through. She had a sense of recognition dawn on her and she did know whom that particular girl was. But she walked with a purpose and by walking as close as she did to taka, put off a sense of peace. She felt the situation would be under control anyway. Looking to her genin she would speak. "On task. Sorry to be brief with you guys but...this is our life. Onward and let your first real test begin.." She said, walking out the gates and onto the roads. She walked out into fire country towards the border outpost.

Taka walked back into the gates of the village, her genin not actually behind her but back several hours waiting at the base of a mountain chain. She would be interested to see what they learned on her return the next week. In the meantime, she could be a model supervisor and shirk her duties left and right. She decided to head to the dojo and see who was messing up the place this afternoon.

Ryouichi walked along time to get to the gates. When he first saw them a smile spread across his lips. It had been too long. The group stayed behind him as Ryouichi slowly walked towards to the gates, soon coming to a halt about fifty feet from the gates. The anbu stayed with him, his summons staying by his side. Ryouichi wouldn't bother going through the gates. No he would wait instead until he was welcomed in. There was no point in just entering as he didn't want to make the villagers think there was an attack. However, if a person would look upon him they would likely barely recognize him as he had changed a lot since he had left. The thing most recognizable about him would be his summons standing next to him. Even his mask had been changed out, his clothes as well.
The ANBU walking with Ryouichi shifted their positions as they received the latest debrief through their headsets. An assault on the Hokage's life and the loss of the Council of Elders, and the former Kazekage was present for it, no less, saved by the Hokage's clone at the office. They eyed Ryouichi for a moment, remembering a Prior Hokage's words about the man, but suddenly the gates opened.
"Hunt Two, stand down. Ryouichi is brother and friend." The Hokage said with a smile, an odd thing from him, as he approached closer to the man.
"You'll have to forgive the sudden hostility if you sensed it. There was just an attempt on my life, and the lives of the Elders. I was off site, the Elders were in council, so far, there was not a survivor. Come, I need to visit the Serec Fields, and we need to catch up. I need a debrief of the last couple years, brother."
