The Story That Went On... (Formerly Death Cut. Completed.)

Rosemary sat on the bed and fiddled with her holey pants. Her eyes went a little wide at his backup plan. "All right. I can see where you're going with that. I wouldn't want to be near him if he actually decided he wanted to kill us due to his demonstrations with fire in the past. Though he did say he handed over his best way of using it when he gave me this," she held the little green rock to her eye and looked at it, "but I wouldn't want to find out if he had others. Still he can teleport to other places now so we may not see him for a while afterwards."

She pulled out the larger black one, about the size of her fist, he had handed her almost reluctantly. "Do you suppose that this is... he only called it God's Wrath and I sense it takes more energy to activate than the rest. I think this is the one that summons large bodies of rock from the sky... though... don't you find it odd that something that resembles God's seventh wrath is here?"

Abigail was almost certainly smiling in that cloud-ish form of hers, and Harold couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

Harold: "Seems like you got an eyeful, boy. You should feel lucky, normally Abigail would be more upset and all up in arms, like the time I found her."

Abigail: "Well I didn't know who you were and what you're intentions were. For all I knew, you were just another dirty old man razz "

The conversation took a slightly more serious conversation when Sephiroth asked his question.

Abigail: "I... wouldn't know."

Harold: "I suppose that might be true, I'm not sure. Sadly, we'll never know for poor Abigail. The same bastards that took out my world and Jacob's, also took out hers a few years after she was kidnapped. At least, I'm fairly sure that's what happened. We traveled back there a couple of weeks ago, and found nothing but ruins all over that world. No life, everything about the world was dead. We seen some of their symbols too."

GL: "Probably a good idea. They'll definitely cool down by tomorrow, I bet. Or at least not be so vengeful...

"MI means 'Magically Immersive'. It's a place that uses magic to make you feel like you're really in the movie, it's pretty cool... It messes with your senses a bit, and just... it's hard to explain, but it's like a feeling you get that you're actually there in the action. I don't recommend scary movies though, last time I tried one, I had nightmares for at least a month. So do you want to go see a movie there? It can be your choice!"

Jacob studied the black object in Rosemary's hand with his eyes for a moment.. There was a terrible, powerful essence about it that he didn't quite like, and frankly, he was glad that Sephiroth had handed it over..

Jacob: "God's Wrath... It's a bit unnerving, the power of that one, isn't it? Yeah, I find it really unusual that it's here. Makes me wonder... is it really suppsoed to be God's actual seventh wrath? There's.... a mixture of essences in it that I can't quite tell what they are, but none of them are necessarily really evil or demonic in nature... "

Jacob closed his eyes for a moment, as if focusing on the object from where he sat.

Jacob: "...And if there's anything holy or God-like about it, I can't sense it. It's... strange."

Remember we're only holding on to it for temptation's sake while we're here, she reminded Jacob. He's been very trusting for this and it would be a shame to stir resentment if he ends up being just fine. He has kept it well enough for this long.

"He said that these things are 'powers forged in the lifestream.' Even if it isn't really a wrath it is still unsettling as you say. But if it really is God's Wrath, the fact that it doesn't feel holy or God-like is probably to keep it hidden. If it gave off a strong feeling at any distance every foul creature in existence would flock to it don't you agree?"

Jacob: I know, I just don't like to think of what he'd do with that in his hands if he became whole and his 'dark side' took complete control...

"Yes, that would make sense. Keeping itself hidden would be the smart move, sort of like how a pawn in chess is a hidden second queen. Best to keep something so powerful unknown until the time is right to reveal it."

He's at least trying to think ahead of some of the what ifs by handing that over and his best fire and shield materia.

"Curse your superior chess skills."

Still that made her wonder if that meant God was going to interfere himself and destroy the wicked niearcim mages sometime in the future. It did say that he would liberate the believers and remove those who blaspheme against him...

Jacob: "Me, with the superior chess skills? I'm not the queen and king that captured the mage-like bishop..."

He gave a sort of grin, visualizing Veni and Rosemary as the King and Queen.

Jacob: "Anyway, I think we have both plan b and c then. Plan b, trap him in another dimensional space if possible. That fails, plan C, we unfortunately try to get out of there with everyone else's lives in tact.... Plan C isn't exactly my favorite though."

At the mention of "XXX", Galantros froze in mid step and turned red.

Galantros: "Ah, ahem. Romance wouldn't be a problem... They don't show XXX movies at that place though, that's... that's um. You really don't what that means? Or are you joking around with me?"

GL thought she might've known what an X-rated movie was... after all, she knew what kind of magazine Malos had that one time while he had it in plain sight, and knew what his videos sounded like that he watched while he thought he had privacy, forgetting the kitsune had sensitive hearing.

What you're thinking should work, my child. To transplant the earth and plantlife should give her new life... if she were to accept it.

Harold: "Now that I've had a chance to rest... I've been meaning to ask you a few questions, Sephiroth. About Jenova, or Fal'Jenul, or... whichever. The one that spoke to all of us and gave us that plan the other day. ...You're speaking to her right now, aren'tcha? When you're done, can you tell me what she's like? Where she's from maybe, what her form or appearance was?"

GL: "Uhm, yeah, crude adult toilet joke filems. Sure. Let's go with that. I wouldn't say they're on the same level as those cartoons... they're uh. Worse. Not that I've seen them, mind you!"

Galantros had a feeling Rosemary would kill him if he told Black what they *really* were, so perhaps for now at least, it would be best that she thought that. As long as she never went to see them. His anxious aura was probably giving him away though, so he started trying to force himself to calm down.

"Kings move too slowly for Veni. if he was an actual king piece on a chess board, you would never win since he'd move like the queen."

Rosemary bet that his Plan C wouldn't exist if she or Harold wasn't there...mostly her she bet. "Let's go disturb them and get you humans some breakfast... though a little something for me wouldn't hurt since I'm supposed to help you keep your energy up and you can easily restore a little loss quickly with food or an energy drink."
