Suddenly the shadow shurikin transformed and Zane blasted a Fireball Jutsu straight at Brume. It was one of the oldest tricks in the book, but it had caught the ninja by surprise and for that Zane was grateful. Meanwhile his clone just gave Nowe and Kiri and thumbs up.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata chuckled as she saw the clone's thumbs up. "Yeah, he's definitely gonna win. He's got this one in the bag." She said with a nod, watching the fight. It would take a miracle for the other ninja to win, and miracles didn't happen often.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

((aww that was my shippuden attack xP))
once the smoke cleared Menendo was standing in the smoke with his ant puppet and a new one the looked like a stag beetle
Brume jumped back and clasped his hands together making two clouds form together to form a shield "dark fog jutsu" clouds started to gather around the bottom of the arena only light was from a bolt of lightning surged every now and then

"C'mon, Menendo, you can do this," Chinatsu muttered, gritting her teeth as she watched the match, "Don't let that leaf chit get the best of you." She really wanted to jump down there and help her teammate, but she knew she'd disqualify them both if she did.
"Yeah, Kohane!" Tayu cheered. From her vantage point, it looked like Kohane had the advantage right now. "You've got this!"

Zane smirked and pulled out one of his Wind Style Scrolls. "Wind Style, Razor Gust." Zane called as he ran chakra through the scroll, activating the technique that had been sealed inside, hoped fully it would rage through the clouds and negate the effects of the jutsu. He also had another, more advanced scroll, but Zane was planning on saving it for later.

(So im guessing either the genjutsu hit or you don't know what it did?)
Standing there looking at the two dolls kohane clenched her teeth lightly. Had her attack missed she wasn't to sure but from the look of it likely it had. Taking in a deep breath kohane reached into her pack as she held a green pill in her hand. "Need to end this quickly" she muttered biting into the pill as a surge of chakra flowed out of her. Fully ingesting the pill kohane looked at Menendo.
"Right then" she muttered before rushing fowards faster then she had before. She had less then five minutes before the pill she took's effect would wear off and her body would feel the strain she would have put on it. Vanishing suddenly from infront of him kohane appeared just behind him on the ground. "Leaf Whirlwind" she called swinging her legs towards striking menendo in the side.

((its hard being cheered and scorned at the same time XD
or maybe I've got something up my sleeves >.<))
Brume ran at Zane as the clouds started to disappear and to shoulder tackle him
the kick sent Menendo flying back but seemed to get up like nothing happened then he put his hands up and puppet started coming apart the head moving to hit Kohane in the back where the shell of the puppet waited to catch her and trap her in it as the arms with blades would stick the shell

Ducking down the head missed as she raised a kick upwards towards the passing puppet's head. "Time to finish this" she muttered vanishing again as she appeared to the far right of Menendo. Holding her hands to the sides blue chakra engulfed them as she sharpened the chakra blades. Taking in a breath kohane vanished appearing just infront of menendo but ducked down low. Lifting her hand upwards the chakra was aimed towards Menendo's neck and chest. She had less then two minutes now to finish the fight and was starting to become more bold in her attacks.

Zane drew his sword and prepared to strike at Brume, He had a couple more clones hidden so that they could flank Brume. Zane didn't know if the guy used clones or not, having only fought him only once before.
