the old man gave a hardy laugh when he went to grab it his hands shown signs of decades of cuts scratches and using tools as he holds the small cup fromt he bottom instead of the handle and gulped down some of it "Ah, not bad, this is the same tea mad form the trees in this city" he grinned

Elly looked down at the men stuck to the ground. "What exactly should we do with these guys?" she asked.

Arina sighed as she heard Berners comment before stepping out of her hiding place and slowly walking out to the center of the arena picking up a small round object on the way as she messed with it using a very small screw driver and a paire of pliers, almost walking close enough to put her hand on the opposing fighters chest. She smiled before taking his hand and raising it before placing the object in his hands. "you hold onto this for me will you, thanks...." She quickly ran away from the man after flipping a switch on the device, only to hear a loud boom from behind after she had concealed herself behind a large metal plate.

the man took another sip and held out the cup for another round "Leave 'em be, real men take on their consequences instead of fleeing when it gets bad." he watched Berner fight "Now that boy had the makings of a true warrior, I have yet to see fear in his eyes. I bet hes the type that gets girls and doesn't even know it, I can see the naive part of him in the way he fights."
the man turned to see Arina run away then looked in his hand jsut intime to see it explode he back fromth e blast and tumbled against the wall and got up dusting himself off "Annoying little girl" just then he heard Berner call him out "Alright baldy lets settle this the old fashion way" he put his guns away and pulled out his blades. To which the fighter grinned and complied finally pulling out his battle axe he then charged at Berner who did the same now the crowd was roaring but the other mechanic wasn't gonna let this stand as he was at work on making a mech

Elly looked at him, "He's... unique to say the least." she said as she walked over to the window to watch the fight.

the old man looked at her then smiled "So you like him as well?" he gave a hardy laugh, sounds like my little girl has competition"

Arina looked out from her hiding place to se the blue team mechanic attempting to interfere with the fight, She looked around before seeing a few objects that could be helpful before grining and quickly working, moments later, she had already snuck up on the other mechanic and was now setting up her new device to stop him, She stepped out behind him before tapping his shoulder and waiting for him to turn before smiling and pushing the button on her device, quickly forming a large hardened bubble around the man, stopping him from carrying on his work. Arina laughed before winking at him and quickly withdrawing a pair of wire cutters and undoing all his work before blowing him kiss and running off, leaving him trapped in his unbreakable bubble.

He smiled "oh come now, you can't hide that blush, your ears suddenly turned read and your stutter is a dead giveaway" he took another drink "See grandaughter has been showing the usual signs as well... he'd make a good husband I can tell.

the man was pounding away at the bubble yelling curses that could not be heard from outside the bubble as he watched her destroy her work.
Berner and the fighter were just going at it swing after swing, dodges, blocks, parries, they were getting pumped up and the crowd was going nuts. they were getting their money's worth at this point Berner's true abilities shown as he showed how he attacked and dodged with grace and at a fast pace
(lol this is is way of looking good in the battlefeild)

Arina climbed up onto the mech and sat herself down as she watched the fight, not really sure weither there was any reason for her to be there anymore considering she had already incapacitated her opponant.

Elly watched Berner. "I've never seen him fight like this before. It seems so... formal, and he is self taught too. That's... impressive."

Berner was flowing through the movements now, with no jerking motions at all, as he dodged and parried and struck the first of many as he simply dodged an axe swing and pivoted and spun around the fighter slashing at his leg causing him to fall on his knees as Berner had his eyes closed stood there like he was frozen in mid attack
"You did good, kid"

"gonna finish me here? its not against the rules and I'd understand why you would if you did
..... at that Berner sheathed his blades "Naw, sounds like a crummy idea" he turned and smiled and helped him up as the fighter held his hand up and announced defeat and the crowd cheered for the great battle and good sportmanship as Berner helped the fighter walk to the paramedics that wre on the arena now
The old man smiled "Told you so, the boy is a true warrior, hehe. Now why don't you go and meet up with them, I'll join the rest of you after this last drink" he poured another cup
