"Darkness can be fun," Twyla said. "But I see what you mean this time."
She hesitated a moment, hardly daring to breath while the huge Arian guard had her in his sights. She clutched at her wounds, singing herself a tiny little song--one just for her. It was one her aunt used to sing her when she was tiny gnomeling, and while it wasn't magic, it brought her comfort.

The clods of earths bigger then one square require climb checks to move over and are blocking terrain that provide full cover. The craters areas from the blasts are difficult terrain. A swim check is required to move through the river. The cliff to the east is 15 feet tall and requires a climb check to move up.)

As Ruin launches his spell S54 slashes him with his sword for 8 damage before disappearing into the darkness. The two soldiers disappear into the cloud created by Ruin and everything behind is obscured by those in front of it. (Affected squares now block line of sight and provide superior cover.)
The soldiers, which had remained silent up to this point Grown angrily as Revenge heals Corsica. He feels he might have finally drawn their serous attention. Several of the burns marks on Corsica visibly heal. Though she still is bloodied she looks much healthier now."Thanks, paladin...I might of needed that." She admits begrudgingly.
Twyla catches her second wind.
Ying on her dozen of legs, charges forward, creating a cloud of dust behind her. She comes to stop in front of S51, the apparent leader of the soldiers. She lunges forward and looks to almost put a kiss to the soldiers neck, but those who have seen Ying fight know it was much more then that. The Soldier becomes rigid as her paralytic poison pumps though his veins. (stunned, save ends.) The strange aura protecting the group from ranged attack flickers out of existence.
Sylvia moves towards the group attempting to save Fumiyo.
Abby's tentacles continue to reach into the darkness. Though it cant be seen what she is doing she is obviously still constricting the soldier.
S52 then break out from the cloud, having finally freed himself from Abby's grasp. He then charges Abby and slashes her with his sword
No one but Ruin and Valac see S54 slip out the back of the cloud and attack Ying but lucky the centipede girl is able to avoid his attack.
S55 stands up from prone and charges Valac striking him with his sword for 13 damage
The rest of the soldiers try to move further away with Fumiyo
Arthur moves over and slashes twice at S52 but the soldier parries both blows.
Petra moves further up the road with the wagon, intent on rescuing the people Ruin mentioned.
Kuori moves back to AAA28 firing at the mage as she runs, but missing terribly.

Valac was somewhat hopeful that after the previous hit that the man wouldn't be so keen to re engage him but here he was again trying to impede Valac.
Turning back around sword raised high Valac screamed, "KAQ AEMM ZA ESAEU L'TIQ!"
Bringing the sword down heavily on the man's shoulder causing just as much damage as his previous hit.
The feeling the rage surge through him Valac swung his blade around him causing another small wound.
Upon resolution of attack regardless on the result he takes another 4 from RotCH but I will setup an IF statement. IF the attack upon resolution has brought the target to 0 hp I wish to use swift charge to K57 (taking a weird route round the rough terrain) to charge S56 with another Howling Strike. IF NOT then I just shift to L61.>

In her attempt to put some distance between her and the soldiers Kuori misses her shots against the mage.
Valac lands a devastating blow against the soldier in front of him but it hardly seems to faze him. As Valac shift around the soldier lands glancing blow against the him for 6 damage.
With the exception of one mage who continues to bind Corsica's feet, all other soldiers focus their attacks on Revenge after witnessing him heal Corsica. Revenge manages to block two of their attacks but stills gets hit for 22 damage total and remains immobilized.
Seraphina show to true power of a dragon as she manages to stay conscious despite being attacked by seven soldiers.
Illya shoots S52 with a crossbow bolt.
With the shield finally down Ramona flies over and throws fireball at the soldiers moving Fumiyo. S53 and S56 are both hit and are knocked back by the force of the blast but manage to keep their hold on Fumiyo.

An ideal situation would have been if they all uniformly focused on him, but Revenge had not expected that to happen. However, it did play out like he expected it would, that all but minimal attention would be turned from Corsica for a moment. A moment that he had been banking on.
... but it didn't come to pass. When he had been immobilized earlier, one mage locked down one boot. He had banked that it took that many mages to keep Corsica down between of her many legs in that form, and that a single mage casting that spell would keep but one leg pinned, perhaps something she might be able to escape with assistance.
But a single mage was able to maintain the lock on all of her legs at once, meaning the rest were there in case one of their number's concentration broke. Revenge made a gamble, and he had lost.
Closing his eyes, he would brace himself for the next wave of attacks.

As the span of battlefield in front of her was suddenly cloaked in darkness, Twyla suddenly found herself without her bearings--until she heard the unmistakable sound of Ruin trying to sound cool. So that was the direction to go in!
She headed to her right, Tinsel at the ready, and saw the battlefield loom into view. She was astonished to see the protective magical aura was gone--but there were too many there for her to strike out on her own, so she stuck close to Ruin.
She rushed at the Arian that was between Ruin and the centipede girl, slashing at him with splendid precision.
"Your death is now within your view! See, I can say some cool stuff, too!"
((Move to T57. Charge 54, ending in space S55. 32 vs. AC, 10 dmg. Ruin gains 5 temporary hit points.))

Despite Ruin's bluster, the Arian blocks his attack. These soldiers appear to be no slouches. The dark cloud the Hexblade created then fades away, revealing the battle taking place behind it. Twyla and Ruin both notice S56 seems to be casting some sort of spell on Fumiyo while S53 is dragging her along.
Revenge buckles down for the worst as Twyla dashes forward and slashes at the side of a soldier.
Ying wraps her long centipede body around S51 and begins to crush him with her strength. She stammers out to her friends "I-I'll take care of this guy. We can't let them get away with Fumiyo!"
Though Revenge had closed his eyes, he hears Corsica's voice. "I appreciate your sacrifice, Paladin, but I won't let you die for me... Abby would never forgive me." Revenge then feels the sensation of two enormous vices close around his body. Their grip is firm but not painful. He then feels himself being hoisted into the air as the earth binding him crumbles away from his feet. If Revenge were to open his eyes, he would see Corsica had just picked him up with her enormous pincers and broke him free from the earth binding him. With her immense strength, she sends him flying a good 20 feet though the air. He lands prone on the ground with a thud, outside the circle of soldiers attacking Corsica. The scorpion girl then yells at him. "Go, help the others. Sylvia might have something to fix you up, she's the plant girl. I should be fine for a while now thanks to you. Now go, get out of here!"
Sylvia ruins up to Illya and hands her a potion from her bag.
Abby attempts to grab S52 once again, but he fends of her tentacles with his sword.
S52 then attacks Abby and plunges his sword deep into her side, giving her a grievous wound. Abby shouts in pain.
S54 attempts to fend off his attackers, slashing Ruin for 12 damage. Luckily Twyla's magical words make the blow not feel as painful.
S55 shifts north, trying to block off Valac's advance towards Fumiyo and slashes the barbarian for 8 damage, bloodying him.
S53 and S56 drag the unconscious Fumiyo further away.
Petra rides the wagon off the edge of the map.
Arthur moves up and attacks S52. He lands one of his blows but is unable to finish him off.
"Kuori up!"

Kuori continues to kite the warriors away. "Yeah boys, keep coming my way so that the Paladin can kill the mages unimpeded. Genius!" She moves 30ft east, then does a nimble shot at the mage holding Corsica, moving another 5 ft east as she does. Unfortunately as she went to shoot she stumbled and managed to shoot the ground between her and the warriors.
Valac gets frustrated at this man's insistence on impeding him and once again raising his mighty sword high the flames more intense than ever brings it crashing down on the mans other shoulder.
"S'ES LAER'T ESAEU BUED GIA!"
Dealing another great blow of damage Valac also sets the man alight.

Valac lands a tremendous blow against S55, bloodying him.
With Revenge no longer next to Corsica, the soldiers return to focusing on the scorpion girl, pelting her with radiant energy and keeping her locked in place.
The two plate mail soldiers move and charge Kuori Stabbing her with their long swords, however they can only land glancing blows against the goliath's tough skin, dealing only 2 damage to her.
Seraphina continues to get beat with spells the soldiers cant seem to bring the dragon girl down.
Spells continue to fly back and forth between Shi and the soldiers attacking her.
Illya drinks the potion given to her by Sylvia and moves up and shoots a salvo of bolts at S52. Only one bolt finds its mark.
Ramona flies closer and throws a fireball at S53, knocking him back with the blast.

"Twyla, I would suggest falling back and seeing Syliva... " Ruin said before rushing off to catch up with Fumiyo's viziers, hoping the soldier would follow him instead of attacking her.
Minor action: Armor of Sacrifice (daily) Spend a healing surge. One ally within 5 squares of you regains hit points as though he or she had spent a healing surge.
Move Action: Move to P52 (HBE +2 vs OA)
Standard Action: CHARGE to M57, Soul Eater ....13(added the -2) vs S53's AC...

Armor of Agathys: If an enemy that starts its turn adjacent to you takes 1d6 + Constitution modifier cold damage(plus bonus damage for being a Warlock power).
