Lena walked deeper into the forest. She let out a sigh. She began thinking about Eric. "I hope what i said earlier didnt worry him..." she said to herself. She had noticed the look on his face when she had mentioned that little children were being killed also. She wondered if he had a little sister or brother.

Eric was tip toeing around the house up the stairs, careful not to wake anyone. He walked up quietly to his mothers room to check on her, she slept silently as if nothing happened tonight. When his sister wasnt anywhere to be seen he checked down the hall in her room, but she wasnt seen there either. Eric jumped and his heart skipped a beat. Where was she? He hurried over to his room and saw that she was asleep on his bed. He sighed in relief and kicked off his shoes, and jumped into bed. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

The sun came up slowly, inviting all of the creatures of the day time to come out of thier nesting places and come out to play. Even in the morning sun the town looked as gloomy as ever. Some of the towns people woke up earlier then most to open shops of all sorts. One of these people were Erics mother.

"Errriiiccc! GET up already! I need your help in the shop this morning! You can get some sleep later!" his mother shook him wildly.
"Ughhhh! Ok...OK MOM! Im up, im up..." he mumbled but his eyes werent opening one bit. His mother noticed this. "Oh c'mon now! Its time for up! Get up!" she ordered once more. And this time Eric forced himself awake. He stumbled over to the washroom and rinced his face with ice cold water. He looked up into the small mirror and saw the bags under his eyes. He definatly needed more sleep. He changed his clothes and put on his muddy boots from last night and walked out. The air had cleared of its eerie fog and turned into cold, fresh morning air. Eric breathed it in and stretched his arms to the sky. The thought of last night came back to his mind and so did that girl....Lena, her name was. He blushed silently and a smirk appeared on his face.

Lena slowly opened her eyes as the morning light shined through the window. She squinted her eyes and rubbed them. She got out of bed and walked to her dad's room. He was still asleep. She went down the stairs into the kitchen. "Darn.... i need to get some food." she said. She walked backed upstairs brushed her hair and put it back up. Changed her clothes. She left a message on her dad's bedside and walked back downstairs and out the door. She took a shortcut through the woods and soon she was in the town.

Lena noticed a little shop that she never seen before. [the one Eric works in]. She walked in. She didn't see anyone "Uhh.Hello...is anyone here." she called out

Eric sat in the back room of the shop. He slept silently on a chair with his feet up on his mothers desk. He flinched and sat upright when he heard the bells on the door ring. "Oh a costumer...ill get it!" he called out to his mom, wherever she was.
Eric took his time walking out, all he cared about for now was getting some sleep. At the corner of his eye he spotted his kid sister messing around with some string. He rubbed his eyes mumbling, "Hello? Can i help you with anything?" Eric looked up slowly and jumped when he saw it was that Lena girl.

Neon walked past the store that the two were in.
