Personality:
Samsara is keenly aware of the mixing of kalona and unicorn blood in her veins. She knows what is said about unikalonas, that they are often insane creatures rendered incapable of controlling either side of their personality. Though she is not nearly so dramatic as some other unikalonas, she shows a little bit of this bipolar nature. Most of the time she tends to be emotional and moody... and more than a little disquiet as she wonders what the fate of her conflicted mind will be. She can be cheerful when the mood grips her but it is still often muted and quiet. There are other times when seemingly the kalona blood takes over. During those times she is just as quiet but possessed with a strong sense of hunger.. a hunger that can sometimes drive her to do things that she later regrets.

Cursing:
Samsara grew up in a loving family, even under the shadow of the kalona blood that came from her father's side. She was growing up a normal, if a bit shy, filly when she met her sister for the first time. Adour had grown up away from the family and, unlike Samsara and her siblings, had learned to hunt. Though Samsara was initially repulsed by the idea of eating meat her sister slowly wore away her reservations and eventually managed to get Samsara to take her first taste.

That first bite of meat seemed to awaken in Samsara feelings and cravings that she had never before acknowledged. Though she was still morally opposed to the eating of meat she began to indulge herself from time to time when her willpower wore thin. These slip-ups began to haunt Samsara and drew her away from her family and most of the rest of soquili-kind.

Perhaps Oyohusa would find her in one of these moments of weakness where Samsara was tearing into an animal she had just killed. Impressed by her ferocity, he might curse her so that her bloodlust could be nurtured and heightened.

If Samsara became a skinwalker, it would be a whole new awakening for her. She has always been ashamed of her occasional bloodlust, but now she would be free from those shackles and would rejoice in the self-expression of violence. It would be the first time in her life she hadn't felt repressed and withdrawn. She would feel that she finally could be herself... and that new self would be ecstatically violent for the first burst after becoming a skinwalker.

In the meantime... at some point her father Hayagriva would find out. Haya believes that he already has lost one daughter and he would view Samsara's transformation with shock and grief. It would shake him to the core and to him, Samsara would be as good as dead. He would recognize that she was not the daughter he had raised anymore and would take it as a personal mission to drive her away from the Padmapani herd. Still, he would never be able to bring himself to kill her. He would even fiercely protect her if necessary. He would always want to be the one to deal with her if she showed up and would even fight a member of his own herd to protect her if he thought her life was in danger.

Samsara has had a growing problem in her life with resentment toward her father. Haya always treated the kalona blood as something to be ashamed of and taught his children that any kalona urges they had should be repressed. This caused Samsara to hide when she would make kills, and feel massively ashamed of herself when she did. When she became a skinwalker and saw her father treating her with even more sad disdain and rejection, it would spark a rage within her. Samsara would suddenly come to the conclusion that her father was the cause of her unhappiness before she was cursed and that he was determined to continue it after she was cursed. This would incite her into a personal vendetta against Hayagriva. She would stalk him, attack him, do her best to lash out at him in any way possible. She'd try to kill herd familiars and leave them places for him to find... or even foals or adult soquili, if she thought she could kill them.

She would do her best to destroy and break Hayagriva, out of rage and despair over a feeling of unacknowledgment. This would naturally cause great problems in the Padmapani herd. Haya would do his best to drive off Samsara but with her grudge against him she would keep returning. Haya would refuse to kill her and not let anyone else in the herd kill her... yet he and the herd would realize that every time she returned for another attack it meant that their lives were in danger, and that Haya was perpetuating that danger.

In the end, it would come down to one great decision for Hayagriva and the rest of the Padmapani herd. Would Haya be able to either kill his own daughter or drive her off in a permanent manner? Or would Haya, an elder and the next protector of the herd, have to leave the herd so that his battles with Samsara would no longer threaten the soquili he was sworn to protect?
