I don't consider myself "religious". I'm a Christian, but to me it means I have a relationship. I don't practice rituals or condemn people for thinking differently than I do. It's not my business what they do or don't believe. My best friend is homosexual, and many of my others are hindu and jewish and whatever my personal journey, I don't see that I have the right to intrude on other people's choices. Nobody is perfect (least of all myself) so I'm in no position to judge anything.
"Religious" people are annoying because they try to force their opinions and their beliefs on everyone else and that's unfair.
I know ya'll had (mostly) finished discussing it, but I thought I'd let myself say that...
As for Pizza! Oh man! LOVE it.
And writing too. I love to write and read almost any fantasy story.

I'm a christian, but a strange one since I'm NOT religous in any way, I love yaoi/bondage (I'm an adult, get over it), I cuss a LOT, and I don't really believe in god. Niether do a lot of my friends. Actually, I don't believe in any form of god, just that we exist and evolved from something. I believe in the evolution rule and not so much that god stuck us on earth. Kind of hard to believe...
I know a few people who are over religous and it annoys me to the point where I've told them to f*uck off. One of those people being a friend of mine who new I read yaoi and all of a sudden got religous about it in my face. I'm an adult and I don't need to be told to stop reading it if I enjoy it. 3nodding

I always love listening to athiest's only excuse to religion.
"It's unbelievable"
That's the point, an almighty creator shouldn't be a believable possilbe thing.
It should be a gigantic space man who made everything.
It creates paradoxes and defies logic.
And such as many people have said here, many religious people are way too uptight with stuff.
Be good, simple enough?

ConcreteAngel Alright, my turn to answer lol. I am religious. I am LDS (aka mormon). I was born into this church but that is not the reason I follow it. Even when I was young, I had a strong belief in it. I can't really explain why but I do have my reasons and experiences. And yes, overly pushy people annoy me, even those of my own faith. I don't think it right to try to force someone to be a certain religion. It has to come by faith and such. Though, I do still support proselyting to let others know and learn for themselves about us. As for pizza, the cheese actually makes me sick sometimes so I can only have it once in a while (like once a month or 2) depending on where its from. That, or I just take off the toppings and eat the dough with the sause lol Concrete Angel rocks have pretty much all of this in common. Except cheese. I LOVE cheese and DON'T like much sauce! HA! But I won't really steal her post. Here's mine...
Are you Religious? Yes, and trying to be MORE so. At least when, by "Religious" I mean strictly following a religion because I believe it's teachings to be true. Why? Because if the gospel is true, if God truly has a plan, then I want to follow it. Because he is our Heavenly Father and he loves us and wants us to be happy. That's why. Do you think overly religious people are annoying? I think people that try to tell other people how to believe are annoying. A relationship with God is a PERSONAL thing. While I will always answer questions about my belief as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, if someone doesn't want to talk about it it is NOT my place to ram it down their throats!!! That's not being religious. That's being a self-righteous jerk. Oh, and the same goes THE OTHER WAY (in case some of you were plotting to have a not so subtle chat about how Mormons will burn in Hell.) Do you like to eat pizza?Yes. Canadian Bacon, Deep-Dish, light on the sauce, please. Mmmmmmm blaugh

I beleive in God. I go to church 3 times a week. I do not like people who push there beliefs on me or anyone else. I beleive so don't try and make me prove it!!!!! If you don't beleive then don"t try and change me! I pray for everyone. If anyone needs prayer I'll pray for you. heart wahmbulance

Why? Because Reason is just Logic without Faith in the content of premises.
Do you think overly religious people are annoying? People who are "overly religious" (as much as I desagree with that sort of tag because it implies a certain acceptable quantity of religion in a person which is a ridiculous notion since religion is a quality not a quantity) believe in what they believe. That doesn't annoy me.
Do you like to eat pizza >:3 I LOVE TO EAT PIZZA!!!
