" Okay, Float, it's show time!" Lilly called out her Floatzel. " That's no problem with me. i like a good challenge." She said happily. Finally she was getting her first battle in the Kanto region she was ecstatic.

(( Is it alright if we continue tomorrow? I need to get to bed. Sorry sweatdrop ))

"Sounds good to me!" Exclaimed the famished youth. "I haven't eaten all morning so I'll be happy to take you up on that offer." As they reached the road house Raskal unhooked the four pokeballs from his belt and called out to his team. "Come on out everyone! Lets get aquainted with our new friends!"

As the pokeballs popped open one by one, the tell-tale lights bursting from each ball began to take shape. First to arrive on the scene was Raskal's Scizor with it's crimson steel armor plating shining brightly in the morning sun. It punched the air a few times as it's wings buzzed with excitement. Second to arrive was the Eevee he had recieved from his grandfather back in Jhoto. The off-colored pokemon shook it's shimmering coat and let out a joyful cry of "Eee!" upon finding it's master ready and waiting.

Next to come out of it's ball and always a bit slow to start, the massive blue scaled Feraligatr slumped lazily to the ground and rolled onto it's back, obviously feigning disinterest with the whole affair. "Come on now Chomp," Raskal bade his pokemon. "You can't sleep at a time like this."

Finally out sprang a small dinosaur-like pokemon with a bone club and skull helmet fit snugly over it's head. The Cubone stared up blankly at the rest of the party and took a seat on top of the dozing Feraligatr, beating it's bone club on Chomp's stomache like a drum. If Chomp cared though, it sure didn't show it, not flinching in the least as the always-feisty critter beat away on it's belly.

"Well this is the team," Raskal stated. "Now lets see who you've brought along!"

"Sure," nodded Raine, then, backed away as he noticed Jace take out a few Pokeballs himself. Releasing his Pokemon, Raine was amazed at the assortment and diversity that Jace had in his team. He wasn't a trainer who would choose a type, or prefer a type over another. Unlike Jace, Raine had a knack for raising Water Pokemon, thus, pinning his attention to a drowsy Feraligatr at first.

"Wow! What a cool Feraligatr! All your Pokemon look like they're in tip-top shape, and I can tell, they're pretty confident to have you as their trainer," complemented Raine. "Okay, then, everyone, let's meet some new friends,"

Raine braced himself, bending his legs and retrieving six Pokeballs from his bag, then, throwing them towards the sky where they opened. One by one, Raine's Pokemon began to come out on the field.

The first was the forever bouncy Azuril who was very courteous enough to bow before the rest of Jace's team. It bounced to the side, and then, Raine's side. Next, was the heavy contender, Onix, who rumbled the floor as he appeared and roared behind Raine. Then again, it was glad to be out of its Pokeball, so much that it caused a minor quake by hammering its rock-hard tail on the ground. Next, is the dazzling Shuppet who hung on to Raine's back, and jumped up to his shoulders. The playful Pokemon waved at the rest.

Next was Staryu, and Prinplup, the duo, who stood before Raine, waving to the others as well. And finally, falling from the sky, was Feebas. Raine looked up, and when Feebas was about to dive down, it fell into Raine's arms.

"Feebas," [Hello!], it said weakly. It's oddly colored scales of toxic purple made it a hard thing to look at for long, but nevertheless, Feebas was a Pokemon not inferior to the others. It just needed somebody to make it feel confident about itself.

"Well, here you have it. My team. This is Feebas right here, and from Azurill on my right, Shuppet on my left, Onix behind me as you can see, and both Prinplup and Staryu right here," he said smiling.

"Now, I believe we should all proceed to the Road House and chow down!" called Raine raising his fist into the air. Afterwards, all of his Pokemon happily cheered and aplaused.

Kage smiled at everyone as Slowking walked up beside him. He recalled Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan as he and Primeape and slowking sat on the ground. "Wow, a charizard vs. Floatzel." Kage said "This might end soon"

"Don't assume an outcome by the pokemon Kage. You of all people should know that." Slowking said and gave Kage a smirk.

Float exited his pokeball with an aqua jet high in the air and landed on the ground in a`graceful stance.
"Haha, Float, this isn't a contest. But I'm happy you are practicing your entrance." Lilly giggled.

Lilly looked at Czar. "You might seem at an advantage, but everyones got to remember, just because there is a type advantage, doesn't mean they are going to win."

"Float, Aqua jet, go for it." Lilly exclaimed.

Float jumped in the air, and plumeted down with aqua jet "Floooat...zelllll!!"

Czar

"Wait for it. . ." Czar told his Charizard as he waited there for his opponent to come closer to him While Musashi stared at Float, he waited for the opportune moment to lay out his plan. Once the Floatzel was in close counters with Musashi, Czar yelled out ". . .Now!" Musashi nodded and jumped in the air. "Now Musashi, surround the opponent using Fire Spin!" Musashi focused his eyes at the Floatzel as he lays out a ring of fire to surround Float.

After sending out his Pokemon to meet the others, Raine nodded, giving approval of Jace's comments to his Pokemon. "Yes, indeed, though," he replied, after hearing a praise of somesort to his Water Pokemon, "I have Onix over here and Shuppet, who are Rock and Ghost types respectively. Having Pokemon other than Water Types doesn't really matter, you see. I treat them all equally, as friends," he said, reaching up for Onix. The rock Pokemon then lowered its head, allowing Raine to give it a head rub.

"That's settled then," said Raine rather assertively. The young man turned around and began marching towards the Road House. It wasn't pretty far from here, it would be safe to let out Pokemon, since the guard stationed at that certain spot was practically a few steps away. Onix stood a good two-stories before the two-story building, the Road House, itself. It could peak right through the window, and rest its head upon the roof top, too.

Once there, Raine had instructed Onix to go to the shores and wait for him there. Onix was too big to fit in the door, anyway. Onix nodded, and with Staryu, Shuppet and Azuril riding on its back, the happily made their way towards the sandy beach.

"OOOOoon!" [Let's go!] roared the gigantic Onix.

"Az-zu-zuzu-rill, Azzu-ri-ril," [T-too bb-boun-c-ce-cy,] said Azuril as she stuttered, shaking as Onix descended to the beach.

Staryu and Shuppet, however, did not find it difficult to follow the big Rock Snake Pokemon. In a few moments, they disappeared from sight. Going past the guard, who, by the way, greeted them a fairly good morning, he opened the door and from the glass sliding doors on the side of the shoreline, he could see Onix and the others swerve into view. He smiled.

"Prin-plup!" [ Look there!] cried Prinplup proudly, tugging on Raine's shirt and pointing towards the glass sliding doors. There they were - the rest of the team.

"I see them," said Raine, "We'll join them in a while after we get you guys some food. "Jace should be letting his Pokemon settle with the rest as well, too. So we don't have to worry if that's where you're getting at, Prinplup, okay?" he explained, then smiling at the young and protective Prinplup.

"Prinplup," [Okay,] called Prinplup, and it seemed to be fine for now.

"Feeeee...bas" [I feel strangely hungery for a poffin] called Feebas.

"Uh-oh," uttered Raine, "I sense that Feebas is hungry. Come on, Jace, Prinplup, let's take a seat, and I'll order for us before I make you guys some poffins. I'm sure that they have at least a cooking area for poffins here, or a Berry Blender of some sort,"

The group then took a seat, with Jace following them with his Pokemon and with Feebas and Prinplup right by Raine's side. The Road house wasn't populated at all. Hoenn routes didn't have Road Houses - probable because half of the traverse-able routes were on water, where Road Houses couldn't be set up. This was fairly new to him, but of course, there had to be something here that would serve them some grub... and there it was - the counter.

Raine raised his hand, and asked a few questions to a person who looked like a waiter, attending to them. "Yes, they serve food, obviously," he said. "I'll have a Cream of Big Mushroom soup please, and some ground pepper on that, together with some bread. My friend decides on what he wants to order. The bill is on me. Would you happen to have a berry blender here, or do I have to borrow your Kitchen to make a poffin? How long would it take for the food to be done? Could you please kindly bring us a few food bowls for Pokemon?" - yes - a few questions... Amazingly, as Raine had blabbered away with his words, the waiter was sharp and had keenly remembered each and every question, and had written down the answers inside his mind already.

The waiter took a pen and a small pad of paper, and began to write stuff. "Yes, of course," he mused, "-and yes, sir, we have a Berry Blender upstairs. Poffins may be ordered here, and may be made according to your preference. A special request has to be made if you wish to keep a poffin recipe private and borrow a kitchen - though it is rarely granted. Food bowls for Pokemon, yes. May I help you with anything else, sir?" asked the waiter, looking quite sternly at Raine.

The young man, on the other hand, left his mouth open in surprise. The waiter was SO good at doing his job, he merely nodded and rose from his seat. "Alright," he said in a very odd tone, looking from the waiter to Jace, and then, to Prinplup who also wore the same expression. Prinplup shrugged its shoulders and then, slowly shook its head.

"Prin-plup," [Alrighty-mighty] it uttered.

"Well, okay!" cheered Raine, I'll just get that special request in the kitchen, then. I'll be back Jace," he said to Jace, "-and with food for your Pokemon as well. Don't worry, my cooking only works for Pokemon, not humans, so just be thankful that it's not me who's going to be cooking our food," claimed Raine as he walked away, slightly laughing, into the Kitchen with Prinplup and Feebas in his arms.

As Raine disappeared, it would now be time for Jace to give the man his order. The waiter waited on him, the Menu was already placed on the table, before him.
