Well, I am going to post all of my cosplays to date (don't worry there aren't that many) even the epic fail ones.
First cosplay EVER, Ruki from Digimon Season 3:
I was one of those Cosplay horror stories that went out to a thrift store and threw something together... at least it was only for Halloween and not an anime convention.
First attempt at a real cosplay, Trowa Barton from Gundam Wing:
It was worn to Anime Evolution 2003. I was rather upset that no matter how hard I tired, I could not get my hair to gel straight. Oh, and I made that mask, was stupid to bring it to a con though, I dropped it and it shattered beyond repair.
Seguchi Tohma from Gravitation:
This was yet another "Thrift shop throw together." I suppose it shouldn't really count, should it?
Kuronue from Yu Yu Hakusho: Poltergeist Report - Version 1
The first costume I ever really "made" so to speak. I did the vest and the little white wrap around thing. I also made the hat... it looked like s*** that year, but i did feel rather accomplished for actually doing it.
Kuronue Version 2
This was done 2 years after my first attempt. I got it in my head that the cosplay would look better in pleather... it kinda does, and kinda doesn't. I know if we are going for accuracy though, this material is a poor choice since Kuronue is a thief and would need to be able to MOVE in a hurry, pleather is not good for that. I fixed the hat though, and made the buckle look better, the first one was just a bunch of gold beads glued in a cluster.
I am not sure I should really be posting this one, I had a seamstress make the base of the costume for me, all I did was put in the battle damage detailing and style the wig... I was very sure to tell people that fact too when they complimented me and asked for my picture.
I omitted my Edward Elric Cosplay because that was ENTIRELY purchased and I modeled it for the website I got it from.
