Amy didn't do what Helkaril told her to straight away. She watched as the forest was set on fire and then turned and walked back to the others. As she passed Caecus she took his hand and pulled him with her, back to the others.'We have to meet Helkaril in the forest,' she told them, once back at the pizza parlour.

Caecus didn't really have much choice but to follow Amy. He was going to have to follow directions for a little while now. " What now?" Caecus asked.

(( Who exactly are "the others"? It's getting hard to keep track anymore))

'We all have to meet Helkaril a mile into the forest,' Amy told him.
(however left with you and Helkaril when you decided to split into a mini flock, I dont know who it was)

Rika and Aly--who had somehow gotten into a conversation about how many tacos one could eat without puking-- got the message and flipped their wings out and followed Amy's directions. Half way through the flight Aly started to sense something--due to her powers with darkness/shadows-- that wanted to...hide? run? She wasn't sure but she knew that it wouldn't hurt to help. She covered the part of the forest she was getting the feeling from in pitch black darkness.

Orin smiled--it was more like a cat-like grin-- "It would, very much so." Dezzie and Blue stepped up on either side of Orin and asked simultaneously, "So are you going to help us?"

Helkaril felt the heavy darkness settle over the forest. It was not a natural darkness, as of the night; rather it was pitch dark, and warm, and whole. She slowed, and stopped. It was so pure... That feeling of utter darkness, utter completion, utter silence, utter peace. Walking slowly forwards, she felt the bark of a tree, and climbed up, feeling her way through the branches. Closing her eyes, she froze a trail through the forest, which she hoped would glisten in the light of the fire. It wouldn't melt. She wouldn't let it.
She knew she couldn't escape the flock. It was impossible. But she could cherish the darkness that she found, or was given. The light would make the darkness greater. She could close her heart to Caecus, and to the world. She knew she must. She had done this before; she could do it again.
Guessing she was about a mile into the forest now, Helkaril sat back against the tree to wait. But she was restless; time was being wasted. They needed to find the rest of the old flock members, and set up a camp somewhere. Then, perhaps, they could live peacefully. But until then, they could do nothing without the threat of Erasers.
Just to kill some time, Helkaril lit a small silver flame in front of her eyes, in her palm. It was pooled there, almost as a liquid. She froze the liquid flame into a tree, sending crystal branches shooting about six inches up from the base. She held it, making the branches sway gently, as if in a breeze.
Helkaril shivered, though not from the cold. No, that never bothered her, for she was part of ice. It was all of her. She would wait there for the rest of the flock, and they would set out soon. They had to return to the rest of the flock.
Yes, those who you abandoned. How do you think they will receive you? Not well? You are a traitor to them, and to everyone. They will not forgive you. You know this. You wouldn't forgive yourself. You haven't. You are a murderer and a traitor. You don't deserve them. By returning, you'll be a coward as well. The same will come of running away. You're doomed, she thought.
Suddenly siezed with hatred, she threw the tree up into the air. It spun in a silver blur, and shattered on the ground, sending sparks ans light dancing across the undergrowth. Helkaril closed her eyes against the display, and made the flames die quickly. She didn't want light; didn't need light. Didn't need emotion. Didn't need love, or compassion, or anyone. She only needed the icy darkness. She sat back and sighed. She was the darkness, and the darkness was her. It would be with her forever.

Amy flew through the air, keeping track of every one esle through the medium of their thoughts. She landed at the base of the tree Helkaril was in, waiting until they left.
Taka flew through the night sky, searching for Amy and the others. When he didn't find them at their agreed meeting place he was worried, and set out to look for them.
Amy looked up at the sky as she felt the thoughts of another hybrid, on she knew."Taka," she whispered, sending out her thoughts towards him, telling him where they were.
Taka landed beside Amy and knelt to hug her.

Helkaril saw that Taka had arrived. She stayed in the tree, keeping a respectful distance, but lit a silver flame next to them, announcing her presence and giving them a little light to see by under the trees. She wanted to say something, but instead she stayed melted into the shadows, her face hidden in darkness, and waited for the rest of the soon-to-not-be-mini-flock. She sighed inwardly, not making a sound. It was time for them to be off...

"I'm glad you're safe," Taka said, talking to Helkaril as much as he was talking to Amy.

Helkaril nodded stiffly. The words could mean anything; they were neither an accusation that she would have been safe if she hadn't left, or genuine relief. She couldn't be sure yet. She stayed in the tree.

Taka and Amy sat at the foot of the tree to wait for the others.

Caecus didn't have any idea what was going on. He had entered into some kind of trance where his body was functioning but his mind was blank. Comming out of the trance Caecus found himself with Taka, Amy, and Helkaril. " What's going on? Did I miss anything important?"

((Ugh, hate school. I've had no free time, even over thanksgiving break. THANK YOU FOR CHRISTMAS BREAK xD))

"Ok then. What now?" Caecus asked. ((Idk where to go. and What was happening with Krystal and the cat trio?))
PostPosted: Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:10 pm
"We have to wait for every one else before we go meet Joker and Vyking," Taka told Caecus.
(The cats asked Krystal is she was going to help them)

"Ok, then I guess all we can do is sit and wait," Caecus sighed.

" I would be glad to help you in any way I can!" Krystal gave a dazzeling smile. "So, what are we going to do?"

((Thanks, I hope didn't screw anything up xD )
