It suddenly all fell into place. All made sense. She knew that he looked familiar somehow. They were related. Perhaps not directly, but at any rate it felt good to actually had some family in Suna, instead of just being alone all of the time. She couldn't wait to tell Deidrith! But right now she moved over and sat down on the sofa. Near to, but not right next to him. "Well it's certainly a relief to find out that I'm not the only one here. My name is Hitomi. How long have you been living in Suna anyhow?"

“Hmmm, I was born in Suna so 18 years now,” he said picking up a cookie and eating it, “There aren't many of us that I know about, those that are have been scattered around or when into hiding. Or so my mother use to tell me before she passed away.”
Drinking some tea Manfread smiled into his cup, having been along for so long it felt good be be able to talk to someone like him. Recalling his academy years he remembered getting into a lot of fights because of his eyes and how rare the Hyuuga were around Suna. Not that he didn't enjoy beating those kids up...
“What about you, how long have you been in suna? Do you know of any others?”

Hitomi shrugged slightly. "Only a couple of years. I moved here from Konoha after a few things...Happened." She didn't feel like telling anyone about the whole being half Hyuua thing. She didn't really know this man quite as well as she could do. And all of the seemed to hate her for it.

A few things happened eh? Manfread thought getting curious, but he didn't press the issue when she felt like sharing he would listen. Finishing his tea Manfread ate another cookie then clapped his hands.
“Right! Next topic, are your parents in Suna as well? Are you making friends? Do you want me to beat some guy up?” he said cheerfully, passing the plate of cookies in her direction “And how many of our clan's techniques do you know? Better yet you can show me how many you know. They say you get to know someone best after sparing.”

Hitomi thought about it for a few moments, taking a cookie and taking a few bites out of it. "I've made a few friends. But, only one really. Or rather I should say he's more of a...Boyfriend." Her pale cheeks flushed slightly before she decided it was better to move on to a different topic. "Every one that I can learn as a Genin. I'm waiting to be promoted before I go any further. Nothing good can come from over exerting myself. What about you? What rank are you?"

“I just hit Jonin, and as for our clan's techniques I know most of them, except for the more advanced ones, I am also well versed in a few other combat styles,” he said pausing and going over what she had said. A sudden realization that she had said 'boyfriend' hit Manny in the face like a ton of explosives and he nearly flew over the couch, imagining some nice big Hyuuga genin that sparkled in the light.
“Kinda want to meet this mysterious...he is a genin right?” Manfread asked in a calm tone, but really he was jumping for joy at the thought of 'fresh meat' and an excuse to spar with it.

Hitomi smiled at his comment that he just made Jounin. She didn't really know him , but that was quite an achievement none the less. She nodded again. Not really so embarrassed to talk about it if he really wanted to. "Yes. He is a Genin. He moved here from outside the village too. We both graduated around the same time. But both of us are already quite close to being promoted to Chuunin. I can just feel it!" She said, with a slightly excited tone in her voice.

Manfread remembered all the genin he had graduated with. Some had dropped out of Suna's military to settle down and start a family, others were on mission or had become M.I.A, and finally some had been K.I.A.. He closed his eyes and his mind wandered back to the Wave Gate where he and the team he was with fought with the Omni-clone. They had lost some nice potential on that soil. Tearing his mind away from that thought Manfread smiled, it was also the Wave Gate where he had become Chunin.
“That's good to hear, becoming a Chunin,” he said pausing then added happily, “I'll take you guys out for dinner as celebration when you get promoted too.”

Hitomi nodded and smiled a little at his offer to take them out for dinner. "I'd like that. But it's only fair to warn you that Deidrith could eat a horse. He's a pretty big guy." She paused, pondering what other things about herself she could tell him about. Suddenly figuring it out seeing as he seemed to be the sort of person who enjoyed fighting. "I'm mainly a Taijutsu user. I'm still trying to decide what other styles of fighting to learn because I've already gone as far as I can with the clan techniques."

“Yeah, I like the clan techniques they're very handy, but I find when sh*t hits the fan the Hachimon and Iwagakure no taijutsu are useful. Although I might take up Kaiser fist too,” he said scratching the back of his head. He had always been very fast and these styles complimented his aggressive nature.
Manfread glanced over at Hitomi then ate a cookie.
“Do you specialize in speed or strength... or both? What are you thinking of learning? I'm also a taijutsu specialists so I might be able to help you,” he asked curiously, in truth he would rather test her strengths out in a spar but one can't have everything. Or so people kept telling him.

Hitomi paused for a moment. Having long since finished the biscuit/cookie thingie that she had been offered. For someone not so large in stature, she could eat pretty quickly when she wanted to. She hadn't eaten since that moonlight picnic with Deidrith after all. "Speed. Definitely speed. I'm not really all that strong, but most people of my own rank have issues catching me." She wondered where Deidrith was. "Did you see Deidrith on your way here by any chance? I know you've not met him before but he isn't easy to miss. He's nearly seven foot tall. He's an Oni so he has horns, and he has red skin." A bit of an odd description really. But it was all true.

“Never met him, and if I had seem a seven foot red skinned Oni like person I think I would remember,” Manfread said glancing over at Hitomi. Actually he would have fought the thing as soon as he laid eyes on it. And the thought of this Deidrith intrigued Manfread and he found himself wanting to spar with the genin.
“Well why don't we go meet this Deidrith,” he said cheerfully, finishing his tea and standing up “Besides I need to do some warming up before I go train.”
“So your confident in your speed? Well so am I,” Manfread said heading over and grabbing his great sword before he headed for the door. “I was one of the fastest genin in my generation.”

Hitomi paused for a moment. "Ummm....I kind of don't know where he is..." She said, with a slight hint of sadness in her voice. Considering he was her boyfriend, and she had run off and left him and now he was gone somewhere. She'd really have to apologize for it afterwards. Bringing her attention back into the room. "We could look for him though I suppose."

“We are two Hyuuga in a city looking for one big red guy,” he said as if it were nothing, “How hard could it be with our eyes?”
He opened the door for Hitomi and would soon follow behind.
“Umm, any ideas of where to look?”

Not waiting for a response Manfread dashed off, it shouldn't be too hard to find a BIG red demon like person especially with his eyes.
