At some point, Miyuki had gotten side-tracked and lost track of the other shinobi. Alas, it was not difficult for her to find her way and in not long, Miyuki had found the ramen shop. Her snow headband was also at her waist, but not in an extremely visible manner. One end of the cloth part of the band was tucked into the belt and the other was loose, following down her leg casually. The metal part of the headband was sideways, almost in an unreadable fashion. This was not because she had any shame in being a shinobi of the Yukigakure, but simply because she was still too lazy to think about any other way to wear the article. Her braid flew behind her as she hurried to catch up, but once she neared the ramen shop, she slowed. It was almost as if she could sense some sort of tension. Still, she opened the door in a casual way and entered the room. Upon entering, Miyuki's eyes scanned the room in a split second and understood that the only others were Ayaki and two leaf shinobi (and the waitress). While it appeared as though Ayaki was introducing herself, Miyuki wasn't a total social idiot and could tell that she knew them--or at least one of them. The waitress approached her, and Miyuki kindly told the waitress that she was broke and with the other snow shinobi. Then, instead of saying anything, Miyuki simply waited to see what would happen between the others present. Honestly, Miyuki was a stranger here and whatever social drama there was was not applicable to her. In a way, she was a mood killer, but in another way she wasn't sure what else to do. Speaking of not sure what else to do, in a slightly startled manner Miyuki realized that after Ayaki left to go meet up with Shigeru, she'd be left alone to "wreak havoc" on the leaf village. Of course this was a joke, and she'd probably go "play" with her puppets or meet up with the Kage again if she wasn't caught up with anything. Alas, this was not the concerning matter. Though she did not appear impatient, Miyuki's stance shifted and folded her arms while trying to analyze what little she could of the situation.

Jae held the strange girls gaze the whole time she closed the gap that separated them. There were two ways she could handle this. Be her prickly self or put up her mask. Since this Ayaki was from Yuki then she should probably feign nice. Jae did not want to get on the Hokage's bad side. Instead, as Ayaki introduced herself, still staring, Jae smiled, her eyes remaining cold despite her appearance of being completely friendly. Something clicked in Jae's head then. Keiji had been so weird by the river earlier. Bringing up Yuki before. Now it made sense. He probably knew they were coming. At his comment about Ayaki knowing Jae she shot him a glance that spoke of her confusion without her needing to say anything about it. "Sorry Ayaki, was it? My friend likes to over analyze people sometimes. " Jae said with a little sigh. Keiji was being weird again. Just then the ramen bowls were set before them, Jae nodding at the person who set them before them. She watched him walk away before looking back at Ayaki. I wanna eat so bad...but if she keeps staring at me it will ruin the food mood. Jae thought to herself, trying to fight the urge to eat and stare. Weeks of not eating had made her build an enormous appetite. She wanted to devour everything in sight now.

Ayaki glanced at Keiji as he spoke "Hello, Keiji. I'd say nice to meet you but I don't like Leaf. I'm not sure if you're totally for Leaf so I'll say nice you instead." she replied, her broad grin clearly indicating that this girl was not all here once more. She'd been ok in the hot springs but trying to figure out what was wrong with Jae had sent her back to a strange place "Glad you could make it, Miyuki-san." she said over her shoulder, black eyes once more focusing on Jae "I dunno. Do I know Jae?" Aya tilted her head before leaning in unusually close to Jae and staring her in the face, almost nose to nose "Does Aya know Jae? No. Aya doesn't know Jae. But Carrot knows Jae. Carrot knows Jae very well..." she glanced up as some soup was delivered "But Jae doesn't know Aya...does Jae know Carrot?" her roundabout way of talking might confuse the two but she knew what she was saying in her head. Even if Jae said she didn't know Ayaki or Carrot, who was in fact Ayaki from a previous time, she still planned on keeping a close watch on Jae until she figured out why a girl she had considered a sister was so different.

Silence as Miyuki glanced from the Leaf boy to the Leaf girl to Ayaki. When her fellow shinobi acknowledged her, Miyuki simply nodded and walked over to where Ayaki had been sitting. Miyuki saw that there was some iced tea that had already been ordered. Her fellow shinobi seemed to be in an unusual mindset... Something about the Leaf village was putting her off, this much Miyuki knew. Slowly, the Genin took a sip of the tea and continued to think. As the water slipped down her throat, her face contorted and she put the cup down. After a bit of a gag reflex, Miyuki made the tea go down her throat. Too sweet for Miyuki's taste. A quick gesture to the waitress, and Miyuki ordered in a hushed tone so as not to interrupt the others, "Would you mind getting me an ice water...?" the waitress nodded and slipped away, and Miyuki's gaze fell back to the others. Something was up, but it wasn't Miyuki's business to pry. For now, she would have to let it fly. It would probably never be her business, and thus Miyuki vowed to herself not to ask, as she probably would not receive an answer anyway.

Jae coaxed an eyebrow, as Ayaki went off on a rant. First she dissed leaf and then went on a Cheshire cat type of manner of speech. Whoever this girl was Jae was certain she didn't know her or even want to know her. Jae was not in the mood to eat now and just wanted to get away from the insulting Yuki girl. Smiling at Ayaki she patted Keiji on his shoulder, squeezing it gently. It was her own friendly warning that she would kick his butt later on for giving this girl the opportunity to come over to their area. Maybe it would be better that she left. Besides. She missed Shade and would rather be with her than have to sit over insulting conversation. "Alright. Carrot, Ayaki. Whatever you call yourself; have fun figuring that out because frankly Jae could care less who a Shinobi from Yuki is. You should probably go back to your table now. It's obvious we don't know each other and despite your qualms about Leaf you aren't in Yuki so you should keep your negative comments to yourself." Jae giggled a bit, raising her hand to her mouth in a shy girl manner. The chef behind the counter looked on at them, having caught the tension Jae was emitting. He looked worried.

Aya nodded slowly and leaned back "I understand now. You don't know me. You did but you don't so let me tell you something." she mimicked Jae's hand movement "This is not Jae. Jae never acts like a stupid ditz unless she want's to make someone go away. She doesn't have very good control over her temper which is why she gets in fights with Kages and other genins. She is frosty and cold, two faced and amazing. I know you even if you don't know me. I know you because I remember you. I know you because you were like my sister and I cared for you deeply. My second friend in the world, you've forgotten me but I remember you. I'm sorry you don't know me anymore. I still like you, Jae. Despite your prickly self." she looked sad now, strangely sad, and shook her head "I don't like Leaf because it took you. Leaf takes everyone I care about. I hope you remember me soon...we all miss you." she glanced at Jae's soup "Your soup is cold. I'll pay for a new one." and she did, paying the cook for all the meals ordered to Jae's table "Miyuki? I'm going to leave. I can't stay here anymore. Do you need any help before I go?" she asked, walking away from Jae's table to lean heavily on her own table.

After Ayaki's speech, Miyuki let out a sigh. There were many things that she could say. Many, many things. None of which she could bring herself to say. She stood up and waved off the waitress who returned with some water. "I don't need anything; I was meaning to head back to meet up with Madame Kage. From her experience so far, Konohagakure was as hot as hell and with people about as miserable as hell, too. It is difficult to see the full picture of any situation when viewing it through a narrow lens, however. With a hurried bow, Miyuki said, "I'll be leaving ahead of you, if you don't have any objections. Thank you for the tea." she said the last comment in a strained sort of way. The tea was disgusting; even Konohagakure's tea was hell. With a nod, she quickly left the ramen shop.

He had to learn to not over analyze everyone he laid eyes on. "Please don't let this show alter your opinion about the village. While it's true most of our guys are idiots." He grimiced. "The women and Yun-sensei are good people. Same for the civilians." He then bowed once more, spun around, and walked back to his seat. Once there, he exhaled heavily. He was taking a huge risk here, but as far as the village was concerned, the only one that would be a problem was Ponytail.

Extra Eel."Turning to look at the genin who were talking, Taiki made a happy looking expression, and turned to his tea. swishing it around in it's cup, not really paying attention to it, as his thoughts trailed to his homeland...

Ayaki nodded as Miyuki left and then glanced at the boy, Keiji, as he came over "Jae has not changed at all. She is always this way and always was this way. I'm not insulted." she pushed off the table and looked at Keiji curiously "I am not a genin. I'm a chunnin. And my opinion was altered the minute I came here. It is always that way. But maybe you are not as Leaf-like as everything else." she bowed slightly and turned, stopped and turned back, leaning in to speak softly "I am not the only of Jae's old friends to come here with the Kage." she leaned back, nodded once to him and once to Jae before leaving. She moved past the man who came in, not taking any notice of him.

On her way to the fields, Tsu meandered by the ramen shop. Inside were her instructor, as well as a few unfamiliar faces. She glanced up at the sun, noting the position. It was way too early for dinner, and definitely too late for lunch. She groaned to herself, wondering why on earth Taiki had to be in there. She wasn't going to accomplish all too much on her own, and he obviously wasn't budging. It looked like he hadn't yet eaten, so she ducked into the shop as well, intentionally seating herself an empty chair away from her mentor.

She sniffled, and ran her hand through her hair. So, so sick. She waved over the owner, and placed her order.

"Broth only. I don't care what it is. But, before that, some tea please."

Jae was half listening to Ayaki go on about how 'Jae' was supposed to act. If you have ever had to sit through a meeting where adults tell you what standard you should be meeting and what behavior was exceptionable and what not you would understand perfectly well how irritated Jae was becoming from listening to Ayaki telling her what she was like. What is up with these Yuki Genin? Are they mental? Jae thought to herself as Ayaki said 'sorry you dont know me anymore'. Jae shrugged her shoulders, only saying one thing to it all. "You've got the wrong Jae A-y-a-k-i. I am sure that Jae is a wonderful person but she is not me. " Jae coaxed an eyebrow as Ayaki offered and paid for the ramen that was cold. I don't think so... Just as soon as Ayaki walked away, Jae leaned over the counter, supporting herself on her elbows to get better leverage. "Don't cook up new ones! The food goes to waste! Just return the money i'll give it to their Yukikage or something. " The chef narrowed his eyes at her but did as he was told. Keiji came up then and smacked her upside the head. Jae almost whirring around to smack him in return. Instead she shot him a glare, eyes practically slits. "You are so weird! Why go make peace with that weirdo! I am not her Jae. " Jae said, grabbing her chopsticks and rubbing them together feverishly after having split them apart. She clapped her hands over them, uttering her little prayer and then dug in. The ramen was indeed cold but she liked cold food for some odd reason. Something unsettling kept surfacing while she ate. Ayaki's Jae was a little similar to her. That part was the weirdest. After polishing her first bowl, she pushed it's empty container aside and then slid the other in front of her. She held her chopsticks poised over the noodle broth, her eyebrows knitting together. "Hey if I tell you this, don't get freaked out or anything. For some reason the moment I saw that girl I got this fight or flight kind of feeling. Not even during spars do I get like this." Despite Jae being a little wary she still brought a long string of noodles to her lips and devoured them, chewing with a thoughtful expression on her face.

Fuji appeared the in the shop and she seemed to have a grin on her face. "Oh my you sell sake here too!" she shouted as she put out the smoke in her pipe. "Your finest sake please!" she asked and shouted an the owner got her just that. "Thank you." she said as a he poured her the first glass before heading back to his thing.

As she looked around she could see the Konoha shinobi all rounded up in here and began to closely look at them. She was rather serious in doing this too. As if she wanted to know everything about everyone single one of them. As if Fuji wanted to get every single scrape of information about her soon to be allied village shinobi.
