The best book that Chris Wooding wrote is "Poison", followed by "The Storm Thief". The Haunting if Alaizabel Cray is more of a romance story.
You should read books by R.A Salvatore. I love the Dark Elf Trilogy!! He has a lot of books, so he'll keep you busy(like me). His books are epic and unexpected, so you won't get bored with this dark/high fantasy series.

...I have 2 to recommend. They're both very entertaining 8D
Well, first, I defenitely reccomend 'The Call of the Wild' by Jack Landon. It's freakin' amazing, man. Secondly, I'd say 'Epic'. It's very sci-fi, though- a book for the true geek. If you don't mind a few weird words like 'bezant' and names like 'Halfdan the Black', you should be pretty much good. It's by Kevin Costick, just puttin' that out there. Although, I don't think there are too may books called epic XD

I'm a total bookworm, always looking for something new to read...so I know how you feel lol! I loved both the Harry Potter series and the Percy Jackson series. You could try these: -The Hunger Games trilogy -The Demon King -The Red Pyramid (by the author of Percy Jackson!) -The Sword, the Ring, and the Chalice trilogy -anything by Dan Brown (The Lost Symbol, Angels and Demons, the Da Vinci Code) -The Seer and the Sword -The Mortal Instruments series (a lot of girls like this series, but not because it's particulary girlie...it's just because of the character of Jace lol. More guys should read it because it has that epic Harry Potter feel to it, if that makes sense. So don't let the fangirls fool you into thinking this series isn't for guys! xD)
Happy reading! whee
