Ludique blinked again, pouted, and then.. well: "It wasn't even something to get angry at!" She yelled, stomping her foot, hands balled into fists at her sides. Who was this human to get so angry with her, so offended by such small, slightly true statements?! She glared back, eyes shifting from the green to their natural color; a dark red, unnatural to humans. The demon knew that one of them was wrong, maybe both of them, but she wouldn't admit it was her. No, Ludique was just laughing, not even being snide or nasty or rude! She was just playing around, stating something that could be easily shrugged off! And then, oh, then he had to get angry and twist around and face his home. She didn't even care that some people were glancing at them, curious of the fight between the two. Had she been as she was a moment ago - calm, merry, uncomfortable with everyone and everything in the sun-world - well.. She would have cared a lot for all of the people watching them.

Rin turned around, infuriated at her. He knew it was nothing to be angry about, and he didn't want to come across as a moody child, as he knew he did, but really. His temper had been dangerously short ever since the demon came to his house, and this time it had really cracked. "You can get your own stuff, demon, because I don't want anything to do with you!" and he headed back home. He felt guilty that he was being such an a**, but he really didn't like all this. Somehow, he still felt like he was in a dream somehow, though he knew he wasn't.

The demon glared, watching. She slowly stood straight, watching still for a moment. She forced her eyes back to green, and waited for a moment before trotting after him. She slid in front of him, and embraced him about his ribs, her face against his chest. She was still angry, still ready to rip his throat out, but she couldn't be alone out there. They might burn her! The might lock her up somewhere! She muttered, very quietly, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry.. please forgive me," She sniffled, and held a bit tighter. She didn't want to be alone in the big, bad sun-world. Maybe after she got set up at school and got used to it, but she wouldn't dare try it now. She knew he was still angry. But she was a girl, she was pouting, and she was admitting - lying about - being wrong. This, even in her society, was means to forgive a girl.

Rin was so stunned by her apology that he scarcely remembered why he was angry in the first place. How could he be mad when she apologized so nicely? He grudgingly nodded, and told her, "OK, OK, I forgive you, but you've got to be nicer to me in the future." He said it like he was lecturing a child, very condescendingly. He then pushed his anger back, and asked her, "So... you never answered my question from before, do you have a car?"

Ludique sniffled, pulling back, and rubbing her eyes. "No. But it's getting really bright, and I'm not used to it.. We could use, um," She dried her fake tears, and looked like she was calming down for a minute, as if she was thinking. "Your mom's car tomorrow, okay? And you can teach me how to drive!" With the demon, she never had to drive. She always used magic, or she walked. It didn't matter to her. But to Rin, apparently it did. Why should it, though? He liked smelling like sweat and hard work. She pouted for a moment, and looked up at Rin, her eyes glossy. "I don't know how to be very nice," She mumbled, looking as if she was admitting something very hurtful to her. She wasn't, but she wouldn't let him know the truth. Sure, Ludique could be nice, but only if she was going to gain something from it.

Rin blinked stupidly, he hadn't the slightest about how to drive, either. Damn. But he couldn't look dumb in front of the demon, either, so he nodded like he knew what he was doing. "Alright then, let's head back. I'll get you all set up to drive us to your street. And, look, if you can't start being nice, then I'm not going to help you, and I know you can charm me or something, but listen. I will never go with you willingly, until you dumb me down to that of a puppet's intellect, and do you really want to do that?" He couldn't imagine being a puppet; he couldn't imagine not having a will of his own.

Ludique watched, staring up at him, and then shaking her head, liquid streaming down her cheeks. Once she stopped shaking her head, she looked at him again. "No.. I want you to be yourself with me," She murmured, rubbing her eyes. They were fake. The tears were completely fake. But it seemed to be real, at least. They seemed to be perfectly real, her eyes bloodshot, pink around her eyes, the fact that there were tears streaming down her pale cheeks. She looked away suddenly, rubbing her eyes, sniffling, "Zut! Je suis desole pour pleurer," Shoot! I am sorry for crying. She was forcing herself to blush, to look embarrassed. "It's just, I really like everything about you," Lie, "And I don't want to upset you," Lie, "And I don't want to use magic on you," Lie, "And.. I'm a bit scared of this sun-world. I don't know anything about it. My books claim it to be entirely different to this place. And I don't know what to do, and.. and well, I need you," Truth. The demon didn't look to him, still trying to calm her fake tears.

Rin was stunned by the demon's sudden outbreak of tears, and then her spilling of her heart. She liked everything about him? She didn't want to upset him? She didn't want to use magic on him? She needed him? Well... if she put it that way... blushing slightly, Rin pretended not to hear, but grabbed her wrist, perhaps a bit more gently than before, and pulled her in the direction of his home, which could only be a few blocks back. "C'mon demon, let's go get the car. Don't worry, I won't abandon you if you aren't mean to me," he told her, his tone also perhaps a bit nicer than before.

The demon watched him, being pulled along by him. Ludique kept his stride, if just barely. She didn't mind. He was falling for it. He was blushing. He wanted it. She didn't really care. If she needed to, she would pretend. She would have him care a love her, but she wouldn't return such feelings. No. Ludique planned on nothing of the sort. He was nicer. Oh, Ludique was getting so much closer! The demon sped slightly, so that she was close to him, and talked quietly, even adding a little stutter, "T-tomorrow, though. It's too bright," She mentioned again. She didn't like the sun. Not one bit. Ludique slipped her hand away, then held Rin's hand, uncomfortable with her wrist being grabbed. She squeezed a bit, to make him think he comforted her. She was easily a conning woman.

Rin flushed even more then the demon grabbed his hand. Why were her affections for him so strong all of the sudden? Surely, there must be some kind of trick somewhere. But strangely enough, he didn't want to believe that. He kind of liked believing that she liked him, even though that was probably a lie. However, he didn't want to seem like he was giving in to her girlish charms, so he yanked his hand out of her grasp and walked quickly back toward his home. "Fine, whatever. I don't care," he told her, very quickly.

Ludique followed, a bit hurt by his sudden movements. She had to nearly jog to keep pace with him, and once they were back to his house, she was breathing just slightly heavier than normal. She calmed after a moment, and suddenly looked to Rin. "Will you wrestle with me?" She asked, trying to be very sweet. He was seeing through her. She'd have to convince him that she liked him. That she wanted to be with him. Maybe a kiss would have him head over heels for her. Maybe bonding. Ludique could refrain from making him smell nice, just to have a guide for the human world.

Rin make a puckering face for a second as he glanced at the ground. Why did the demon want to wrestle with him? Was that part of sine conniving scheme to make him her eternal slave or something? Surely the demon had something else up her sleeve. But she just looked so goddamn sweet right there, with her loose curls draped over her shoulders, and her face warped into such an innocent façade. Scrunching up his face briefly, he slowly agreed to wrestle with her. "OK. Fine. I'll wrestle with you, but you have to promise not to let my mom see, because she'll think we're... doing it or something. Not cool," he informed her.

Ludique laughed, something that sounded like bells today. She nodded excitedly, "Your mom wants grandchildren anyway, so even if we were," She tilted her head to the side, "Doing it, she wouldn't mind. Not that we're going to right now or anything," If she sounded like she planned to, she didn't mean to. The demon smiled. Getting to wrestle with Rin was probably one of the few things she actually enjoyed about her stay. She grabbed his hand, pulling him over and having him sit on the ground. She seemed to pause, as if unsure for a moment, and then she looked around. She looked as though she was sensing something. "No one's here," She said in a matter-of-fact tone, and then looked back to Rin, "That means we can wrestle without thinking yours mom is gonna be here!" She seemed very excited about this, suddenly tackling Rin. She was straddling him, practically in his lap, and she had grabbed his wrists. She didn't pin them, though, just held them, as if to test the human's strength, even though they had wrestled before.

Rin gulped nervously as she told him that his mom wanted grandchildren. Surely she wasn't suggesting anything... right? God, she sounded like the planned on it... no way. If they like, DID it, who knows what the baby might come out as? A morbidly ugly half-demon? He would be known as the dad who produced a wretchedly ugly baby, and then what kind of real girlfriend he might have would want to f**k him then? No, doing it with this demon was not going to be happening. Just then, she started to wrestle him. She grabbed his wrists and held them down, as though to test his strength. But he lost appetite for it all, really, thinking about mutant babies, and he didn't put up much of a fight.
