ALWAYS watch what you say around children! ESPECIALLY your own regardless of how old they are! They'll pick up on what you say in no time and it'll be ingrained into their heads for life. That includes swearing, cussing and cursing which is obviously disrespectful and rude. Teach them to use CLEAN words instead of dirty words. NEVER use profanity around your own children, you're basically literally encouraging them to do the same as you and pretty soon they'll be thinking that it's okay when it's NOT! Profanity is called diarrhea of the mouth disease which Satan loves, but God hates it. You can't be trying to teach them not to and at the same time you still do it all the time in real life, online or both plus being totally flippant constantly. It's seriously literally being a total hypocrite. What does God say in His word about it? Romans 12:2(NIV) 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The modern American replied, "Sin, what's that?" Romans 12:2(NIV) 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

In other words, DON'T be like the world i.e. using constant profanity and being really flippant every time, etc.

Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don't have to compromise convictions to be compassionate.
