Zapmon, who had seen the start of the whole commotion when she was leaving the restaurant, finally sidled over once Digitamamon was securely contained to avoid injury since she hadn't been with Crystal at the time. Crystal, upon spotting the small dragon, immediately waved her over.
"Oi, Zapmon," she called out. "You've still got my wallet, don't you?"
"Why would I have--" Zapmon trailed off trying to feign innocence in front of Taiki, but then decided that defusing Digitamamon's rage was more important than her own self image. "Sure, I've got it." She held up a leather wallet with the Flamel cross insignia popularized by Fullmetal Alchemist decorated onto the front and withdrew a wad of bills. "You want me to pay off the money monger for whatever Guilmon and his unwitting accomplice Gabumon might have stolen from the kitchen so he can get back to work?"
"That would be ideal," Crystal confirmed.
Taiki blinked, still not fully comprehending the situation with Digitamamon, but glad it had ended without too much violence. "Do you really have enough money to cover all that?"
"It's a bit complicated, but there's this trick I learned from a rather good book called The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy involving another restaurant with obscenely high prices situated at the end of the universe. Naturally, it recommended sticking a penny into a back account in your own era so that the effects of compound interest would mean that the fabulous cost of your meal would have been paid before you got there."
"Isn't that supposed to be impossible?" Taiki inquired.
"Well, the advertising slogan for Milliways is if you've done six impossible things this morning why not top it off with breakfast at Milliways, the restaurant at the end of universe," Crystal answered with a grin. "But I've found that if you look hard enough you'll always manage to find a universe that hasn't yet conformed to our economic standards and by that point it is, in fact, very possible."
"Since we're pretty much dimension hoppers and time travelers by occupation, we've had more than enough time to test it out ourselves," Zapmon responded. "How else could Crystal afford the sheer volume of pizza that it takes to keep me satisfied?"
Taiki had to wonder if what they had told him was meant to be taken seriously or if they were only joking about it. Judging by the huge wad of American dollars Zapmon was handing over to Digitamamon, he was going to guess that there might have been some truth to it. Perhaps he was beginning to seriously lose it.
"Alright, let's get back to the onsen," Crystal decided once Digitamamon's payment was taken care of. "I still need to put on some clothes."

Meanwhile, V-mon was still running after Shiro in pursuit of Guilmon and Gabumon. Somewhere down the line the group of Chibimonz that had been vying for Shiro's attention back at the onsen had caught up with V-mon so that they could also follow after Shiro.

Shiro of course heard that, sighing lightly and shook his head, calming down, before glaring at Gabumon "Guilmon i can understand being filching from Digitamamon, but you should know better."
Gabumon shook his head "i hadn't stolen a thing Shiro! i used some of that bait you and Jake helped bake in case Guilmon was in trouble or about to be to lure him away, unfortunately he decided to make a ruckus which got Digitamamon's attention."
Shiro blinked, and facepalmed "right... he would squeal like a happy baby when shown Guilmon Bread." he just lightly motioned for Gabumon to head over and get on Dorulumon and all, while glaring at Guilmon "who let you into the portal room, much less anywhere near this world's portal?"
Guilmon blinked, tilting his head thinking "i think Jakemon did, Shiromon." he said, while looking down "i'm sorry for causing trouble though..."
Shiro just sighed, shaking his head "i'll have crystal kick Jake's a** later." he muttered, before looking to Guilmon "as for you... i accept your apology, however, you still need to be punished, you'll be inside my Xros Loader, no coming out unless i let you out personally, and no Guilmon bread for a month. it's time for you to grow up Guilmon, you can't -always- act like this."
Guilmon just winced, and closed his eyes, before disappearing a a flash of green light into Shiro's Xros Loader, not mentioning anything for now.
Shiro just walked over to the rest as they were getting ready "yeah, and i probably need to fix that divider more thoroughly than just a traced patch." he said, blinking when he saw not only V-Mon but the small group of Chibimonz fighting over his head earlier trying to catch up to them and all "eh? V-Mon?" he asked, a bit confused.

Shiro nodded lightly as he chuckled a bit "it's alright, we kinda had to stop him fast before he did more damage." he said, lightly looking to the caged Egg, and snapped his fingers, the swords disappearing after shoving the rock slab away from hurting digitamamon, and he knelt down to lightly pick up the chibimonz as they were heading for him, chuckling "i didn't think i was really popular, i guess being around Crystal so much is a good thing." he said while moving over to Dorulumon and idly sat the Chibimonz down on the digimon's body, recalling Tsukaimon to give them more room while hopping on himself and looked to V-Mon "coming? might as well head back to the onsen to relax a bit longer before getting something to eat."
Gabumon meanwhile just shook his head sighing as he saw how friendly sihro was to both V-Mon and the Chibimonz, sure it made him a bit jealous, but he mentioned nothing while idly moving a bit to give shiro and the others some room on Dorulumon, lightly sighing a bit to himself. ~this is not my day.. it feels like my connection to Shiro is growing more and more distant...~

"Heh, I'd race ya, but I think we've already proven that I just can't keep up with the likes of Dorulumon and Gururumon," V-mon conceded as he hopped up behind Shiro. Having significantly shorter legs probably had something to do with it.
Meanwhile, Digitamamon began counting up the money that Zapmon had given to him as he was released from the cage and started making his way back to his restaurant to get back to cooking. Zapmon decided to accompany the big egg as an escort just to make sure that he made it back alright and that there wasn't any further trouble upon his arrival what with Shoutmon and his party still probably being passed out at their table. Zapmon flipped open Crystal's wallet to see what she had left. "Guess I can afford another pizza so long as I make it a small one and cut back on some of the toppings..."
Elsewhere, Xros Heart's Dorulumon decided to catch a nap by the courtyard fountain since it provided a calm and soothing atmosphere beneath the gentle glow of the full moon. After that whole ordeal he felt that he deserved some peace and quiet.

When Taiki returned to the boy's side of the onsen he noticed that the young digimon who had arrived with V-mon were now accompanied by Team Epoch's Ryuudamon and Yuki Agumon who had arrived separately after ditching Gabumon and Guilmon with Digitamamon. Unbeknownst to him, this probably wouldn't bode well once Shiro came back.
The fact that Taiki was looking a bit flushed and frazzled didn't go unnoticed by Zenjirou. "It looks like you got into something a little more interesting than just chasing down a rampaging digimon."
"What are you even talking about?" Taiki just stopped and stared at him. He didn't seem to realize just how flustered he had been about the awkwardness of riding around with Crystal while all she had on was a bathrobe. Possibly because it accentuated the fact that, despite her usual attire and tomboyish demeanor, she was still very much a girl and he had no idea how she might react if he had touched something inappropriate by accident. He'd seen a lot of other guys, most commonly Zenjirou, take quite a beating for it.
"Let me guess," observed Yuki Agumon. "Crystal must have rushed out of here without putting her clothes back on so that all she had on while she was chasing down Digitamamon was a bathrobe again and you were nervous about what might have happened if it had accidentally fallen off."
"I'd say that's a reasonable assumption given that Digitamamon was definitely coming out on a rampage when we left Gabumon to handle Guilmon," agreed Ryuudamon. "Crystal must feel pretty comfortable having these guys around not to be concerned about the accidental perversion potential that could result from running around like that."
Taiki glanced at Kiriha. "I think they just included you in that assessment."
"Perhaps," Kiriha responded. "But I'm not the one who was out there with her."

Crystal literally pounced on the Tokomon as it tried to run off with her clothing, startling it enough that it finally let go and scampered off without them. Crystal could only assume that someone else must have put the little digimon up to it, but who would pull such an obvious prank remained to be seen. Just the same, Crystal snatched up her clothes and went back to go get changed so it wouldn't happen again.

Shiro chuckled while nodding a bit "no problem there." he said, lightly letting dorulumon take them back to the onsen quickly, after they got dropped off Shiro (with Chibimonz on head) and Gabumon slipping off (V-Mon as well) and dorulumon went to head back to his nice little flowery hill to rest on, while Shiro went back inside and got changed back into towel and trunks, before slipping into the Onsen, keeping quiet as he let a golden bracelet form on his arm, and after somewhat dispersing the tracing, while firing a blast of data to literally re-fix the wall before anyone noticed, and made the bracelet disappear.
Tsukaimon and Patamon both poofed out of the Xros Loader and landed in the water relaxing as well "that was interesting." Tsukaimon said while Patamon just shook his head "what can i say, at least it wasn't digitamamon trying to kill Shiro." Tsukaimon just shuddered "still, it's a good thing you swiped Shiro's wallet."
Shiro of course froze and turned a calm face to the two of them "hand it over." he said, Patamon quickly flying over and putting the wallet in hand, while SHiro checked it, seeing most of his money still there he nodded and put it nearby while relaxing "so what did i miss?" he asked Zenjirou and Kiriha given he was paying no mind aside from once in a while petting the Chibimonz on his head.
Gabumon had idly wandered into the boys side, and when seeing Ryuudamon and Yuki both chilling in the Onsen he glared at the two and cleared his throat" is there any reason -why- you two abandoned me when you knew i'd need help getting Guilmon out of there alive, and left me to nearly be flambé'd by that cray egg?" he said in a cold voice, but one that had a slight edge to it.

Gabumon merely got in the water and made his way over to the two, and kept a calm face, before suddenly bringing his clawed hands up and grabbing both Yuki and Ryuudamon's heads before pushing them down underwater while twitching an eyebrow "not good enough." he said while of course trying to drown the poor Digimon.
Patamon just sweatdropped at Gabumon's anger, and shook his head" he should've known -no- digimon would be sane enough to want to face Digitamamon, especially when hungry."
Tsukaimon just shrugged calmly while smirking "either way things were definately interesting, especially with how Taiki was acting like a flustered boy out there." he said pointing out his obvious nervousness about being around crystal in a bathrobe.
SHiro just rolled his eyes hearing the quip and mentioned nothing about it given he was relaxing, and letting his eyes wander to the skies ~hnn... wish i could be like those clouds sometime, able to be carefree... but knowing my luck i'm going to be going through an uphill battle..~ of course a voice spoke out calmly in his mind ~how right you are, Chosen one of Mana and the Void.~ Shiro of course suddenly flinched mentally and unbeknowst to him physically ~and whom might i be speaking to?~ the voice giggled a bit darkly, but not answering his question. ~my identity shouldn't concern you, Chosen one.. what should consider you is that due to your bullheaded death wish against Duskmon, as well as losing your reasons for fighting.. you currently have -no- abilities to help your allies except what you have in your base form. you can't even perform Shinka.~ Shiro of course frowned hearing this, but narrowed his eyes lightly despite them being closed ~what do you mean?~ the voice would have cackled if it wasn't serious ~are you really wantign to get yourself deleted? as it is, i'm here to help give you a second chance for at least part of your powers: the Elemental Spirits. you're on your own with the Digivice/D-3, and D-Arc, they're not my territory.~ Shiro just let his face slacken, and look a bit depressed as he thought lightly ~great... they're probably hating me for how reckless i was in that battle..~

Yuki Agumon and Ryuudamon spluttered and flailed about in the water trying to escape the wrath of Gabumon. V-mon, meanwhile, decided that he had been smart to stay out of the confrontation and, while swimming around by Shiro found the boy to be behaving somewhat strangely, at least based on his general lack of knowledge pertaining to typical human behavior. V-mon wasn't sure, but it looked to him like Shiro was caught up in some kind of bizarre waking dream so that he was no longer aware of his actual surroundings and was instead reacting to something that only he could actually perceive. Whatever it was, he found himself hoping that Shiro was going to be okay because V-mon honestly had no idea what he could do for him in his present state. So, V-mon made his way over and perched lightly on Shiro's knee, looking up at him with a concerned expression waiting for him to hopefully snap out of it and come back to reality.
"Come on kid, you can't go losing yourself on us when we've only just met," V-mon remarked wanting to get through to him.
"I was just trying to stay out of trouble!" Taiki protested in exasperation. "I've already had to cope with Akari getting mad at me today. The last thing I want is to give another girl a reason to be upset with me!"
"But if you weren't worried about her getting upset with you, then it wouldn't have been a problem for you, am I right?" Zenjirou was leering at him.
"I don't--" Taiki started, but then stopped himself. "I wouldn't--" He was struggling to find the right words. "Why would you even ask me something like that?!"
Kiriha didn't even attempt to conceal his amusement as he just sat there and chuckled at Taiki's increasingly obvious discomfort.

Shiro blinked as the voice had silenced itself when he felt the weight on his knee, and just smiled to V-Mon lightly "ah.. sorry, just thinking about things that happened before we came to the resort is all." he said, glancing over to the three other humans he sweatdropped, before shaking his head "don't see what the problem is, i would be nervous too about such a predicament." he said, lightly looking over "then again i can't help but think Taiki -might- feel something for crystal, if only because of the fact he seemed very conscious of trying to offend her, i do agree women are scary when angry... Crystal is usually fairly laid back compared to most i know."
Gabumon blinked, before shrugging and just let go of Yuki and Ryuudamon, having enacted his vengance, and returned to relaxing as well while chuckling "well, i guess things could've gone worse, i mean, it could have been a digimon attack or something."
Shiro glanced to his original partner while tilting his head to the side a bit "you know, that's true, we did get out of that without actively fighting Digitamamon."
Tsukaimon just shrugged lightly "i wonder how Taiki would react to being with crystal in nothing but a bathrobe, alone?" he said, wagging his non-existant eyebrows.
Patamon just looked over to Tsukaimon and just wing-palmed at his dark counterpart's antics "you can be such a pervert Tsukaimon!"

Once Gabumon let them go, Yuki Agumon and Ryuudamon spent several minutes just sitting there coughing and gasping for air before they finally settled down again. Of course, it probably wasn't going to change their attitude about the situation given that they were still more afraid of Digitamamon than they were of Gabumon. Not that they were going to say anything else about it at the moment. They happened to like being able to breathe, thank you very much.
V-mon suspected that there was more to what Shiro had told him than he was letting on and decided that, from now on, he was just going to have to keep an eye on him to make sure he was really okay. Besides, V-mon felt that Shiro really needed to cheer up more since he was clearly under a lot of stress and decided that he was just the digimon to help cram some more optimism into his life. "Alright, if you say so, but I'm still not letting you out of my sight."
Did he feel something for Crystal? Taiki really wasn't too sure. Aside from feeling confused and disoriented by the events of the day, he didn't think he felt any differently about her than he had all along. They were friends. They made for a good team on the battlefield. And sure, maybe he was a little bit curious to know what she looked like without the bathrobe, but he suspected that most guys would have had that kind of a reaction to being in such close proximity to a girl like that.
"You do realize that, at this point, if Taiki were to end up alone with Crystal in nothing but a bathrobe, Crystal would probably just come after all us for setting him up like that," noted Ryuudamon once he was able to speak.
Yuki Agumon sighed. "You might be right about that. Even if he does feel something for her, the fact that we've been meddling so much might just lead her not to believe it because she'd think we pushed him into it."
"Yeah, well, it's Zapmon's fault for having such a big mouth about it," noted Ryuudamon.
Taiki sighed heavily in exasperation. "Do you mind?"
"Sorry," Yuki Agumon apologized hurriedly.
"We'll be quiet now," added Ryuudamon. The two of them went silent as they continued to lounge in the onsen.
Kiriha chuckled and placed a hand on Taiki's head. "Well, at the very least, now you know that she likes you so I guess we can just leave it at that."

Shiro blinked, and chuckled a bit while patting V-Mon on the head "you honestly want to stay with me? i get into more trouble than probably Taiki does on a daily basis." he said lightly, figuring that the Chibimonz were probably going to stick with him given how much they've been wanting to stay near him, though he wondered if it was just those five, or any others from that type joining in on following him, as he thought to himself ~maybe i could use some laughter in my life again..~ he thought quietly, before starting to get up, putting V-Mon on the edge so he could get out and then grabbed a nearby towel to dry off "nothing wrong about staying in the onsen but i don't feel like acting like a wrinkly old man, so i'll probably get something to eat, later!" he said to the other humans, and lightly headed off to get dressed and go hit Digitamamon's restraunt and all for food.
Gabumon just chuckled a bit, sighing as he relaxed "well, hopefully things will be easy going while Shiro travels."
Patamon just nodded "i hope it's fun and adventurous!"
Tsukaimon just snorted" i want to fight, so count me out. besides, has either of you noticed that SHiro's been acting odd ever since that underground village?"
Patamon frowned a bit "i have... but if he doesn't want to talk about it yet then he'll tell us when he's ready."
Gabumon sighed "something tells me it's more he's thinking about his life in general now that Warmon's been purified, and most enemies after him or crystal are pretty much leaving them alone for now."

Shiro had gathered up his own digimon, putting them in the Xros Loader, though he was tempted to ride on DeviDorulumon he knew that it would probably be best for now to ride with crystal, though he left V-Mon out so he could ride with them much like Zapmon probably would. once they were off he lightly chuckled a bit "well, you seem to know more than me.. besides, are you -really- considering our digimon's ideas of having Renamon around to try and glomp me or something?" he asked playfully, while also fearing for his life, since he didn't know if he could handle having that many digimon wanting him more than just being a general and all.
Gabumon spoke up from the Xros Loader "actually, i will say for most of us, sans Dorulumon, the kiddies, and Guilmon that would be a resounding 'yes'."
Shiro just glared at his Xros Loader lightly "Traitors, the lot of ya!"
Patamon just chuckled from the loader "aww don't worry, we're just joking around with you."
Tsukaimon had pondered on saying something to crystal, but decided to leave it be.
Guilmon was currently laying in the Xros Loader, somewhat asleep, and somewhat thinking deeply.
Dorulumon.. was lazing about. with the Chibimonz on his head also asleep, inside the Xros Loader that is.
