“I will not bow! I will not break! I will shut the world away...”Eris let the girl pull away since she had no real reason to hang on to her in the first place. A small, humorless smile appears on her face as she watches the boy. "You're willing to endanger passerby's just to prove you're not a boy by fighting? I believe you just proved just how much of a boy you truly are." She made no move to draw her sword or various daggers, but could easily get to them if the need arouse. “I will not fall! I will not fade! I will take you breath away...” -'I Will Not Bow', Breaking Benjamin

The boy wasn't paying attention as he stepped through the water. As he did, the water slashed onto his pant leg and seeped through, alerting him of its existence. Looking at the pool, and then at the woman, he smiled and sat down. "You have to teach me how to do that." He cupped his hand and scooped up some water. It didn't spill because of his limited control of power as he brought it to his lips and drank.

Rand bristled at her comment, the implication that he didn't care about the lives of the civilians uncomfortably settling beneath his skin. "How are we endangering them? It's not like either of us would be using weapons. At least, I don't use them without good reason." He shrugged before he turned at the incoming footsteps of the guards from before, a smile rising to his lips. "Well, at least I won't be too bored for now."

Shechina wandered through the town, enjoying the day while looking for her cousin. Avani was staying with her for the week, and, even though the other girl seemed to hate her guts, Shechina wanted to get along with her. It wasn't too long before she heard raised voices and saw a small group of people who looked like they were about to come to blows. "Is something wrong here?" she asked, stepping up to them.
Avani was actually nowhere near the town. She was actually back near Shechina's home, talking to an old weeping willow.

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress watches him silently, gold eyes flickering to check their surroundings every so often. "You... Don't realize what or who I am, do you..?" “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

“I will not bow! I will not break! I will shut the world away...”"The fact that you are showing aggression towards another can mean a possible threat towards innocent lives, especially if the one being shown aggression doesn't take it as well as I do.", the assassin calmly responds. Her single visible eye flickers towards yet another new comer, though she chooses not to speak to the girl. “I will not fall! I will not fade! I will take you breath away...” -'I Will Not Bow', Breaking Benjamin

The boy looked at her, still drinking. His eyes still held the innocence of youth and his heart was still soft. Not hard like a grumpy old codger. "You don't look or seem dangerous, so there isn't any wonder there. Sense you are mentioning it though, who are you? I'm Valiant, a Guardian, the one of Water."

The Guardian to be had to admit it was a fair point that his wish to fight her wasn't at the best time or place. "...I stand corrected then. Is there some place we can go for me test your skills then?" he admitted, turning his head towards the inclusion of Shechina in their midst. "Also, hello random pretty girl I do not yet know. Though I would be certainly amenable to fixing that arrangement."

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”"Have I truly faded that much from the memories and lore of man..?", the white haired, golden eyed woman asks, though she didn't seemed overly bothered by it, "Humans have only ever known me as the Huntress." “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

The boy looked her over. "You don't look like a demon killer amazon." He tilted his head and grabbed one more drink before standing. "We don't hear much of you from where I am from. Just rumors. Anyways, why stop and help me?" She had peaked his curiosity.

“I will not bow! I will not break! I will shut the world away...”Eris shakes her head slightly as the flirty nature of the boy. "I don't have time to play.", she informs him. “I will not fall! I will not fade! I will take you breath away...” -'I Will Not Bow', Breaking Benjamin

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”"Rumors are often wrong, especially when it comes to me. As for why I'm helping you...", the Huntress says, pausing briefly as she suddenly turns to look at the town. After a beat, she turns back towards Valiant, "I'm simply fulfilling a promise I made." “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

Val frowned and his brow furled. "I would be happier to know who you promised?" Her roundabout answer raised suspicion in him. Moaning in agitation, he set off towards the city.

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”"A previous Guardian.", the pale woman responds. She keeps pace beside him, though there was a bit if a distance kept between them. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

That relieved the boy a good bit. Val watched every so often as they walked. "One more question. Why the distance?" Did his breath smell? Did he smell? He had went from suspicious to a little self conscience.
