Penny sighed as she sat up against the wall and watched the others. She kinda wanted to join in, but she was too scared about getting hurt or making the others mad at her. She decided to stay out of the way for now.

Molly raised her hand to ask a question. "How do you know which guardian goes with which student?" she asked.

"Good question. Answer is: we don't." Eva said with a smile. "The truth is, when a guardian is in the presence of their partner, it will feel like they must be apart of their life no matter what. When they find that person, both the guardian and partner will find their special talents." she said and smiled at Sophie. "For example, Sophie has a very special healing power that was intertwined with her psychic ability after we were partnered together. Some talents will appear instantly, others come later." she said.

"Well then I must be with the wrong kid." Loki said then yelped and winced when Molly hit him on the head.

Koyuki saw a girl sitting against a wall and liked the idea she had. She decided to join her and smiled as she sat down next to her. Maybe she could get out of gym today without doing anything.

Yu saw Koyuki move and tugged at her pants, trying to tell her to stay, but it was useless. He sighed and followed, thinking that she was going to get in trouble if she wasn't in line with the others.

((I hope the "girl" you're talking about isn't Xandra, Hikaru. 'Cause Xandra's one of the guardians.))

Xandra watched as the girl with the lioness guardian went up to try her luck again, but her attention was drawn more to the student who'd just gone. She got to her feet and padded closer, feeling like she needed to be close to him. When she reached him, she lightly butted her head against the side of his leg. "Hi there. Nice punch."

with a smirk, the lioness walked up to the dummy she'd hit before and stared at it for a moment. Now that she knew the thing hit back, she knew what to expect. With a deep breath, she ran at the thing and hit it as hard as she could. This hit was better that her last. This time she tuned her ears and focused through the slight throbbing that still pounded in her head. When the dummy retaliated, it went straight for her side. She jumped and as she flipped, she felt the familiar tingle as her body shifted into a pale lion. The thing just hit her tail, but it was better than it hitting her legs and throwing her off balance. As her hind legs hit the ground, she pushed against the momentum as hard as she could and it launched her hard. With all the running she'd done the past few months, those were her strongest muscles in her body. She shifted back, hitting it even harder this time and crouched in a quick shift as it came straight at her face. That was her strategy. Dodge and hit. Pleased with herself she looked back at them in her lioness form before shifting back without saying a word to them. Would they just call her strategy idiotic? Or did she actually prove herself to them.

What he said had hit Amia kind of hard. Her brother always told her not to let her confidence swell. With a short nod she walked back and didn't bother speaking the rest of the time as she thought of her big brother.

Flying in circles she watched as the lioness fight more harshly with the dummy, she glanced between her efforts and the teacher as time just kept floating by. It seemed to be another slow day, maybe just slow to start, Amil was waiting to see what was up the magician's sleeve .
