Veo led Akalia around the demon palace. They passed through the kitchen and into the dining hall. All the while, Veo talked enthusiastically about meals (some of them would be what humans consider 'gross'). Of course, bat wings, blood, cat livers and seasoned souls aside, there were pastries and foods that were "sinfully delicious" too. He tugged her along to the dining hall -- a vast space with an incredibly long table used to seat demon nobles during meals. He described the rich (and treacherous and hilarious!) history of the noble bloodline with ease as he pointed out some architectural designs in the corners and ceilings that made the room seem wider still than it should. He looked at her to get a reaction.
((OOC: If rescue plans aren't going to go ahead soon, how about timeskip to around the end of the week? =3= ))

((Hmm that sounds fine by me. The end of the week would have the most possible time lapse for the humans to get there. What do the others think?))
Akalia listened quietly with vast fascination. Wonder seemed to cross her eyes as they went through the kitchen and dining room. "So you dine with other nobles?" She asked. Her curiosity getting the better of her.

((I do believe that a week should be sufficient enough time. Though it might be a fairly good idea to go over at least a couple of the things that might have happened during the time of that week. Nothing big maybe just like agree some of the big points that would affect the rp. We could do it over like pm or just OOC. Just a suggestion.))

"Of course!", Veo replied immediately as though it were common sense. Veo slid his fingers across the top hardwood frames of each dining chair as he continued walking slowly and pondering what to say to one who could not understand, not that he usually took the time had it been anyone else. "You see, it's best to keep up appearances. And my father is quite a powerful demon. The demon nobles are often chatty, quarrelsome and uncontrollable but as soon as he steps foot in the room, everyone stops and pays respect. There's no other demon like him", Veo said and stopped, remembering negative things about his father. His temper took a one-eighty and he began spouting abuse. "Well, that is... For an insufferable, slimy coward!" ((OOC: Well, the could have fun throughout the week, and the humans could come in at the last second, leaving Akalia to decide between the dude she sparred with for like... two minutes or the probably treacherous demon with whom she was somehow able to get along with xP Also, Veo's last request to Lucretia. If it did push through, then the angels would believe Akalia is in the dungeons of the human palace, mind you =3= ))

((Hmmmm I think I have an idea.... Let me start that there then!!!))
a week has passed. The human prince and his group have just arrived in the demon world where a party is being thrown before the wedding. They have endured the Cerberus guarding the gates of the demon kingdom and have not been questioned as they walked past the gate afterwards. As for Veo and Akalia, after a week the princess is feeling strange. Having been successful in her attempt to tell her guardian where she was, she had been enjoying herself otherwise. With the man with purple hair starting to slightly fade from her thoughts at how busy she has been, she is unsure if she is so against the marriage. Lucretia was successful in the request her prince gave her. The angel army has started with a rage towards the human palace where the princess is 'being held'. We start at the beginning of the party smile
Akalia sat in the chair of the room she had been in the past week. Looking back at the last week, she had few complaints. Veo was some of her complaint but to be honest with herself, she enjoyed his company and enjoyed what they had done. This party she had hoped would never happen. She was waiting on the demoness that was to help her with the gown she was made to wear... She thought on how he hadn't been completely horrid in his week of 'wooing' her. She wondered what her father would think, which brought her to the thoughts of her battle with the purple haired warrior. His face started dissolving from her memory...

((What i was trying to say... Even though my phone is a piece of crap... >.< Anyway, I was trying to make it sound like they weren't messed with after the 'incident with cerberus' because they would slightly smell like demons but also would be probably seen as slaves or servants to a demon noble If that makes any sense))

((ah, okay then. I was just curious. And yes that makes perfect sense.))
James looked around as he tried to figure out where the angel girl would be at right now. He had heard a couple of rumors about her being married to the demon prince, but he hadn't heard about a time or a place. "Of course this couldn't be easy. That would be too simple." He mumbled just loud enough so that only he could hear.

((Awesome. Whilst I wait for Ayame)) Demons were running around determinedly.passing by without looking at James or the other humans. Festivities were being set up. Two demonesses were conversing nearby. "Did you hear that the angel was smitten? Almost as if the prince had put a spell on her. Of course he would do such a thing. I mean we have all seen how many women he's 'carressed' in his time haven't we?" "Oh you are right. I wonder how long this is going to last before his guardian slits her throat during the night." The demonesses started laughing. A third joined them. "Well at least you two don't have to dress the girl. She looks terrible in any of our royal colors. I mean, what am I supposed to put her in? White?" She said and they all shivered before laughing. The one who was carrying different fabrics said farewell and started towards the palace.Akalia sighed before heading to the window once more. She looked out, wishing she could stretch her wings ever so slightly. Wondering what her father might say, and where her loyal guardian was. She started wondering if she even had the chance had she found her purple haired warrior.Probably not... Maybe Veo would be perfect?

Veo quite enjoyed his week with Akalia as well. Even though many demonesses would attempt to allure him on his way back to his room, he would brush them off coldly if only because he always ended up too tired to do anything but sleep after the days of endless activities. It was probably his own folly but he taught Akalia a few more spells whilst they were practicing magic. In all their activities, he was very much a prince and a Renaissance man. His behavior was still pretty childish but most of the time, he was amusing to watch. For example, during the week, while Akalia was preoccupied with sewing, he came over to observe and eventually, was holding thread and needle in hand as well (And having quite a difficult time). "What is this?", he would say and he would either get dizzy from trying to get the thread through the needle eye or he would get the pattern wrong and put down the needle with a frown, looking at Akalia. At this point, Veo stopped minding the marriage. Up to now, he still found Akalia's face and name to be quite mesmerizing. And occasionally, he would call her by her first name when there was only him and her present. If he could just keep up a good game as always, then maybe sex wouldn't be a problem. After all, they got along just fine, it appeared. And the wedding was tomorrow. Can't second guess now. Woe to the traitor that would steal her away from him.
"Are you ready?", Veo asked, knocking on Akalia's door.
"Don't peek, naughty prince!", teased one of the demonesses as a trio of them moved in front of them towards the door and came inside to help Akalia dress.
Veo frowned and put his palm to his face as he watched the teasing succubi slip into the room. Still, he listened if Akalia would give a response.
((OOC: Hey, when did James confirm that the angel was really the princess~? ))

((Honestly I'm not sure if he didn't know he was fighting against the princess >.<))
Akalia jumped up when a knock happened on her door. She had been expecting the demonesses and fabrics. She sighed as she heard Veo's voice and the demonesses cooing at him not to peek. "I'm dressed if that's what you are asking. The demoness who was making the dress had to go get fabric. So no I'm not ready." She said towards the door as she sat on the bed. She didn't think she was ready for the wedding either... Which was the next day. Perhaps she only enjoyed his time. Even if it was because he wanted her. She could see it everytime he looked at her or said her name. He seemed like a lost puppy to her... Smitten by the first... Pretty face he saw. She snickered silently though as not many of the demonesses were in her definition of pretty. As the demonesses came in she looked up to see they were going to compare fabrics again. Which color? No no white. She sighed.

((well I figured that if the demons were leaving ze humans alone, it would give them a chance to eavesdrop on demon conversations. Demons know that they angel is a princess and that she is to be wed. So I figured that would be a really big deal and that they would be talking about it. So I just thought that maybe James would overhear one of them talking about the maraige between the demon prince and human princess and put two and two together. Though if you do not find this satisfactory I shall edit my last post.))

Veo leaned his back against the door. "Oh? I would imagine you could make some lavish dresses yourself. You have a quick hand." He said, recalling the time she was attempting to teach him to sew. He could hear the ladies fuzzing inside and chuckled with the tug of the lip and a raise of an eyebrow. After all, for a demon, he himself wore a lot of white. Then again, for a demon (not to mention prince), he was quite scandalous and outlandish in nature. To him, nothing was sacred. And as a child, he would do certain things just to piss demons off (perhaps, a shard of that remained in him). And sometimes, he would trick people by not lying to them. What irony in the demon kingdom.
((OOC: Kayz. I've already explained before that Veo had heard about and seen images of 'Princess Akalia' before but didn't get interested until he saw her while watching the angel-human battle ))
