"Wonder if I can get it to explode or something." He muttered to himself. He gathered some of the bits and pieces of his ingredients and tossed them in. But no explosion, not even a small one instead the temp. began to rise again.

Without even a second thought Monty quickly snatched up a few more bits of his ingredients and dropped them all in the cauldron at the same time just as before, and once again to his surprise the temp. quickly went up again.

Monty quickly grabbed up a few more of his ingredients and just as he reached his hands over the cauldron to drop them in something shiny on the floor got his attention. As he stared at it trying to figure out what it was and if it would be any use to him, he just held his hands over the cauldron and didn't drop anything in it. By the time he figured out that it was just a reflection off someones earring or something his temp dropped even more as he finally released the ingredients and watched them disappear into the mixture.

After watching his heater for a few minutes and hoping the temp. would go back up even though it never did. Monty pushed all of his ingredients together in a large pile, scooped them up and went to drop them all in the cauldron at once. But just as his hands got near the heater the temp dropped again. "Stupid thing," he mumbled again as he let all the ingredients fall into the cauldron at once. He wasn't sure what to do now his temp. wasn't going up he was out of ingredients and his potion looked more like a thick mud with a little shimmer on it, and smelled like dried meat most likely from the chameleon tail he had chosen. He pushed his chair away from the table a bit pushed his goggles back on to the top of his head and pulled his gloves off and leaned back. Not much he could do now but wait, and hope he wasn't the only one to have issues.

Smiling to those around him, the kitsune set's to work. Sticking his tongue to the side of his cheek he wiggles upright and starts to mix his ingredients, being as careful as an eager boil could be. After putting the first bit of ingredients into the cauldron he peers to the ghoul at his side then to Zel and Rosy to see how everyone else is doing. Remembering the professors words he quickly checks the temperature and wiggles happily when it seems to be increasing steadily.
Potion
Kirinni Bones. Small and dainty, these are perfectly preserved and relatively rare. Treat with caution, as they break easily. MAIN Preserved Brown Leaves. Easily crushed and they smell of Halloween. Frog's Breath. Contained in a tiny little vial. Very rare and very hard to keep track of.

"There are some memories we try to forget..." He answered as he stared at the ingredients, unsure what these items would even do to provoke memories. He tried to think back to memories he tried to repress, but a futile attempt. They were repressed for a reason, he wasn't going to remember them easily. Perhaps with the potion, it wold ease that ability. The professor gave the instructions on heat. Looking about, he found the kettle and a small burner beneath it.
"100 to 110 degrees..." If he used his own flames, it'd just make it colder. Without much thought, he turned on the burner to see the reaction. However, with a nudge to his side, the dial went a bit too far the wrong way.

Adding the Hound's Tooth prior to the proper time apparnetly caused the water to boil over the kettle. Casually, he turned the dial the other way as if that would stop the water from bubbling. Yet the hellhound held a blank face as he stared down at the little metal pot. Potion making wasn't as easy as he thought... Checking the temperature, it was ten degrees lower than what he started with and thus twenty from what the professor had wanted.
Kirinni bones, check, Preserved brown leaves, check check! Tavi rubbed his chin then peered to the last ingredient, frogs breaths. A wrinkle over his nose appeared as he eyed the little vial, he was really hoping it didn't smell horrible. The last thing he needed was a stinky potion. Stirring the spoon around in the pot he gets a bit excited and starts to slosh the potion inside, swirling it around and around and grinning as the strings colorful liquid start to merge into one solid color.
At the solid color he nods to himself and moves from stirring to take up the vial of frogs breath.
Nose wrinkled once more he carefully leans over the cauldron and bit by bit starts to drop the continents of the vial into his still semi-swirling mixture. A puff of smoke rose up from the pot with the first drops, a cloud of slightly pungent aroma lingering in the immediate area around the kitsune and causing him to cough slightly. Whoa. Tavi sneezes and wipes at his nose with his gloved hand, promptly sitting the empty vial down with the opposite. After a moment of fanning his tails about the boil peers back into his pot and crackles happily. "Hah ! Look I did it!" Wiggling in delight he announces his victory to those around him, grinning at them all and pointing to the strong-smelling, light brown potion in his pot.
What luck, maybe potions class wasn't so bad and he didn't even need a partner! Tavi beamed proudly and pulled his gloves up, feeling like a champ as he checked the temperature one last time.

Feeling the side of the pot, Uru noticed that the temperature was cooling faster and faster.... perhaps this is what he got for being a cold-aligned demon...
"Tus od..." he muttered, glaring at the pot. "Kdubot 'ud'n"
Turning the dial a smidge to the right, Uru added the warm scale which instantly caused the water to brighten with the shimmering piece. The metal kettle felt warmer too! He smiled beneath his scarf, keeping a close eye on the ingredients. Only one left, hopefully it won't blow up in his face and his luck remains the same.
The hellhound placed the last of the ingredients, the arbor root of a local tree. The temperature seemed to increase with it's addition to the mix generating a great deal of comfort for the canine. He was hoping he'd be able to finish and get to where the professor wanted him to be before moving onto the next step of the memory potion process.
