Masahiro angled his blade and as soon as she went to feint to his active left side, Masahiro feinted as if he would pull to the left, then shot to the right, his blade dancing perilously close to her wrist as he thrust downward and pushed her blade away with ease, his body twisting into a backstep as he watched her slide low and past him. A thin smile met the Hatake's lips as he drew his blade close and charged chakra through it.
Continuing to backpedal he thrust his sword upwards, creating a burst of raiton that danced upwards into the sky, drawing the girl's attention to it as he began to shift himself slowly towards the right, still backpedaling. His eyes focused through the burst onto the girl, watching her chakra flow as he waited for her rebuttal.

She knew that probably wasn't a normal request, but if her brother hadn't come looking for her when he'd been given knowledge of her whereabouts, and her little sister was in the hospital, she didn't know what to think, and felt like she needed a solid tree to help her remain grounded in the turbulent hurricane of her emotions at the moment. She could remain stone-faced in the face of danger, but put her family in the mix and she was an emotional mess. She looked over at the woman, face and eyes just the same, and bowed to her, clearly, her sensei was close to this woman, that meant that she could trust her, and she wanted to be friends with her anyway, since her female influences were so far from being tangible anymore.

All the young hyuuga could manage to do was grumble to her sensei as she threw another ingot in to the forge. Nanami was confused, why was she feeling this emotion? Why was it that when another person got close to Masahiro she felt unimportant and unwanted and so jealous that it burned a hole in her chest? Was she perhaps possessive over him? If so that needed to stop immediately, her sensei was more than an some object for her to get defensive over. He was free and wild and didn't deserve that kind of set back. Nanami aggressively dusted the anvil off to prepare for another set of gears.
Nanami looked up through the window to watch Nym and Masahiro train while she waited for the ingot to heat up to the point it would be pliable. Why was he so interested in the red head anyways, was there something there she was missing? Perhaps it was the way she held herself? This read headed female, Nym, she held herself like a warrior; she held her head up high and her shoulders were straight. This female was sure of herself, confident; maybe that was it? Or was it her exoticness, that air that the female gave off that she was definitely not from anywhere around here? Nanami was stumped, she had never seen Masahiro show this sort of closeness in all the time she knew him. There was something much different about it, about him now, than she had seen before. It pissed her off.
Nanami shook her head and rushed to the forge, pulling out the ingot she had been waiting to heat up. She had been so distracted by her brooding that she hadn't been paying attention to the metal in the forge, but it seemed that she hadn't left it in for too long. She placed it on the anvil and cut it in to five equal parts once again like she had done previously. She was staring daggers in to metal like it was the source of her frustration instead of the feelings that she was feeling that she couldn't understand. Once she had cut it in to five separate pieces, she set the other four aside and started working on just one.
Nanami couldn't stop herself from looking up every once in a while through the window to watch the two train as she flattened out the piece and lengthened it. But the more she watched the angrier and more frustrated she got, however now it was less anger at Nym and more anger at herself. Why couldn't she just let this go, why was she so stuck on the relationship between these two adults? It was none of her business what Masahiro did in his spare time, she was only his student. The young hyuuga sighed and monotonously did the work on the rest of the gears; lengthen, round, flatten, grind, repeat. Once this set was done, she now had a total of ten successfully made gears.

Nym sprung to her feet, peddling backwards as quickly as she saw her Angel put distance between them. Twisting the Kriegmesser in her hand she charged her chakra until it burst forth. Delivering an Unterhau strike, the chakra would escape her blade and in a pillar of fire, erupt, matching his strike. [1/1 ] As the flames flew upwards and she watched for the brighter light of Angel's electric burst, knowing he would use the pillar of light for cover. Still holding her chakra to bare she would then deliver another strike, oberhau, which instead of fire would send a wave of charged wind towards the elder male. As the winds disrupted and flowed through her pillar of fire, the chakra natures would carry along one another, making it look as if a blade of pure flames stabbed forth along the upper edge of the "Misting Rain" technique and down into the ground only steps before Masahiro. Dancing back the Hatake waited, his eyes scanning forward before he thrust himself forward, an orange light had sprung to light beyond his own diversion, and just as his fell a sudden burst of wind that kicked dirt and debris into the air. Crimson eyes danced along the surface of the diversion as a large line of flames burst forth towards him. He chuckled, she remembered the lesson of combining chakra natures. Good.
Drawing his own blade to bare he would thrust an overhead strike towards hers, but instead of the technique driving through hers as she had done with her own pair, the Hatake focused it as a wall. A burst of stone, dirt, and sand sprung through the air before her combined chakra nature attack. As the flames betwixt them extinguished he laughed, his eyes looking at the stance she had taken. She still fought with the Western Sword styles. She would be different here, a key that would fare well.
His eyes met hers, crimson versus azure, and he smiled, dropping his tachi with a slight flick of the wrist so that it spun. As she handle neared the Hatake's foot he would kick it directly for her, his crimson eyes focusing on her movements and predicting the path of her travel. He saw it coming, she would repeat the same, kicking the Kriegmesser at him as she caught his blade. Planning ahead he turned his body sideways, they would exchange blades then continue on, just as he originally taught her.

As sudden as her flames had arced towards the man, he defeated them with dirt and debris, flinging it into the way of th arc. A bit of laughter broke her lips as she saw Angel sitting at the end of the debris as it all faded away. Then she saw the flick of his blade, the katana, no, he had called this one a tachi before, when he was first training with her. Keeping her laughter she would do the same motion with her kriegmesser, launching it at Masahiro as he launched his at her. [ 1/1 Last Minute Rain ]
Taking a breath, she centered herself, feeling the shift of energy between herself and the man, and matching her breathing to his she focused on his next assault. Of course it came with the kick of the blade. He set it up and executed it flawlessly when their techniques had cancelled each other out, and now she was left to react. [ 1/1 May Wind, October Rain ]
As quickly as she had launched her blade at the white haired man, his blade would be flying at her. Taking a step to the side, she would watch it carefully, and as it moved towards her she would prepare to grab the hilt of the ornate blade. A long slender hand reached out from her frame, grasping the hilt firmly and twisting it around in a circular motion behind her back. [ 1/2 Formless: Hard Physical C-Rank ]
Twisting the blade around behind her back and dispelling the momentum with circular force she kept the smile on her lips, it was fun, training with her Angel once again. She knew he would catch the blade she had flung at him. When he first taught her to fight, the blade trade was a common occurrence between the pair. [ 2/2 Formless: Hard Physical C-Rank ]

While the smile had fallen from his lips as it began and his standard demeanor returned, his armored form would shift. His hand outstretched to catch her blade, twisting the Kriegmesser with a grace unexpected of a man in armor, avoiding the 'nail' on the guard and using it to align the blade properly, then he chuckeled to her as he advanced one step, followed by another.
"You've practiced in my time away, good! Now let's see if you can keep up with this." He would ask as he charged in towards her, his hand shifting the grip on the kriegmesser and brandishing it as he would his tachi.
Bringing a blow to bare on her from overhead he would relinquish his grip on her blade and let it slip past her expected defensive motion. With the blade dropping he would outstretch his left hand to grab it and strike in the opposite direction, raising from beneath her guard, hopefully, to match a strike in the lower torso region were she unable to defend herself.

Seeing Masahiro cross the distance in such short time, Nym would be forced to think on her feet. Welling chakra into her hands she slid back the grip of Angel's blade and waited for him to close the distance. Azure eyes focused on the stark crimson of her teacher, she began to step backwards, attempting to keep the time necessary to build the chakra before he arrived upon her. [ 1/2 ]
As he nearly crashed upon her, she threw an upward strike, the chakra that she had gathered would burst to life in the form of a white raiton shield. Deflecting the first of his strikes, watching the blade recoil she attempted to reach out for the blade with her left hand, moving through the shield of raiton, just in time to see Masahiro do the same with his left, bringing the blade across her at a different angle. Two could play his game, however, and she brought the blade in her hand in an upwards strike to deflect his own. As she collided the blade she carried with her blade in his hands, she would let the strike go, eyes focused on the hilt of the tachi as it spun around the blade of her kriegmesser. The circular motion was mesmerizing, but she knew while she was training with this man she couldn't let herself be distracted, it would be more dangerous now, than when he trained her with wooden weaponry. A cautious hand darted from her side, grabbing the hilt of her teacher's blade and bringing the second strike down towards his body. At this point she believed he had let his guard down and would manage to strike a blow against his armor-clad body. A wry laugh left her lips as the glee of finally landing a blow on the man came across her. [ 2/2 Summer Rain Learned ]
A sigh escaped the lips of the Hatake as he felt their collisions and as she began to laugh. He kept his eyes on her and his breathing would begin to match hers, their heartbeats falling into sync as he stepped forward past her initial strike, stepping around her with the principles of May Wind, October Rain. Leaning his back into hers he would chuckle and tilt his head back so that it rested upon the back of hers.
"Left yourself open Nym. No protection on the rear, assumed you made a successful blow." The Hatake said as he stepped forward and away from her before she could strike in retaliation.
"I would say this is about where I left off in your training before, in Shigure Souen, would I be correct?" He would ask as he turned to face her, kneeling down somewhat as he did so.
"From here comes a lot more taxing end of the style, and you need to learn to focus yourself better. Every technique past this point will take up more and more of your chakra, and drain you more physically and mentally as you use it. So come, rest, and give me back my sword as you do so." He said, proferring hers up to her from his kneeling position.

Nym followed as her old friend instructed her and would offer out his blade in return for hers as he knelt and held it out to her. Kneeling before him herself she would begin to focus on just what he had said. Letting her mind wander occasionally to the gifts he had shown her in the past, she wondered just how much it had taken out of him when he did such, if he was warning her that this was just the tip of the mountain. [ 1/2 ]
Maintaining her thoughts on that matter she would find herself soon entering a deep meditation, and her hands set into her lap after she returned her blade to its scabbard. Opening her eyes now and then to make sure that neither she, nor Masahiro, fell asleep while in this trance. Then focusing inward she let her mind wander a little further, until she felt herself releasing a well of trapped energies within her mind and soul. [ 2/2 Blessed Rain Learned +35 Maximum Chakra ]

Nanami threw another ingot in to the forge and sat, waiting, uncharacteristically silent. The female crossed her arms, watching the forge, the fire reflecting in her pale eyes. Minutes wemt by, but it seemed that she was no longer watching her sensei and the exotic woman train, though her jealousy was still on her mind. She had now moved back to thinking about her father, and all the things she had wished she had done before the explosion in the office.
Had her father been thinking about her before the explosion, did he miss her? Had he died quickly or had he suffered before dying; she hadn't bothered to ask questions to the ANBU so she didn't even know. She should most likely ask Masahiro for permission at some point to ask the ANBU about her father and the explosion, to see his body before it would be buried in the graveyard on the hyuuga estate. And then there was the question of her mother and how she would react in the impending years; her mother was not strong. So was she doomed to lose both her parents because of circumstances out of her control? Nanami could only sigh, rubbing her face with her dirty hands.
Nanami once again took the ingot from the forge and put it on the avil to work it. She cut the one piece in to five equal parts, taking one of them and setting the other four to the side. She hammered the one piece, lengthening it so that she could then make it in to a ring like shape. Once she was sure that the piece was of the right length, she moved it to the horn of the anvil. It was here that she rounded the long piece of metal in to a circle.
Once the piece was successfully rounded the young hyuuga then moved it back to the face of the anvil and flattened it. She did this another four times before picking up a grinding tool and beginning to work on the teeth. Nanami felt herself slowly becoming calmer through her work, as if she was hammering all her emotion in to the metal. She started feeling a tiredness deep down in her bones, but she would continue to work; her sensei ordered it. "That makes fifteen completed gears...."

Alethea walked her way to where everyone had said the hokage was. What's this now? So many doors, how do I know which one?Alethea decided it was best to be loud. Maybe it would get someone's attention right? Eh who cared. She took a sip of her sake and, OI, LORD HOKAGE!!
The sound of blades crashing, parries, and conversation would travel into the building from the right side of the woman, drawing her attention to the room where Nanami sat, hammering away at gears and enviously watching the Hokage and a woman, short of stature, outside sparring. It would be obvious from the sounds of their combat that the Hokage was unable to hear the new student over the din, but it would give her a good place to approach.
Should she approach, she would notice the din of swords clashing had died down, and that the Hokage had just turned back to face the building as he caught a breeze from above. She would see in this moment, the man was wearing a full-plate armour of foreign (European) design.
Another ingot of chakra steel found it's way in to the fire, the heat licking at it like a ravenous beast. Nanami once again sat to watch it for a few moments, the ebb and flow of the heat giving off an almost calming feeling. Here, at the forge, there was no depression or heartbreak. Nanami moved back to the anvil to dust it off, before the sound of a door opening reached her ears. The young female looked up at the person entering the room, her pale eyes meeting with the woman's crimson hues.
Dusting off her hands, the Hyuuga made her way over to Alethea. Coming to a stop in front of the blue haired girl, Nanami gave her a deep and respectful bow before straightening up. "Mmm, hello Miss. Lord Hokage is currently busy with a... cohort; I'd ask of you to wait a moment in till he's available. My name is Nanami Hyuuga, are you a new gennin?" Though her heart was not entirely in it, she offered the female a sort of half-smile.
