Because your question automatically invalid since I already told you I haven't met my roommates before dinner time" he asked him. The thought of not meeting his roommate puts him at ease because he doesn't have to worry about first impression.

He figured it should understandable since he keeps his inventions well hidden and a secret. "Ok, let's go to my room then" he said smiling before leaving the kitchen and head upstairs to his bedroom.
