There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Revolutionary Roniel Who are you entering with? Antillas Link to the RP you're using: n/a Prompt response: Antillas squinted into the sky. Through the hazy clouds, he could see a single star. One, out of the whole entire sky. He sighed and sank a little deeper into the water. He didn't know how it had happened, but he'd gotten turned around. He thought he was on his way to the reef, now he was on his way to nowhere. Night hung dark around him, and in the darkness he had no hope of spying the land. He could navigate by stars... but only if the stars chose to appear. "Come on..." he muttered, trying to make the clouds part with force of will alone.
A breeze blew. A patch opened near the horizon, small, but enough to see a familiar constellation winking out. "There!" he shouted, joy returning. He swam off swiftly, direction returned and on his way.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Revolutionary Roniel Who are you entering with? Mornidian Link to the RP you're using: n/a Prompt response: The stars hung above her, heavy in their silence. Mornidian smiled to herself. A little bird had told her that the Wishing Star might soon be appearing. She'd often wondered about the Wishing Star. Her analytical mind would have considered it mere folklore if not for the many tales of those who had gotten their wishes granted. Her interest had been cold logic before she'd worn the angeni charm. Even now, it still mostly was that, though a certain amount of curiosity tickled at her. Wishing Stars wanted nothing to do with skinwalkers, but what about those wearing an angeni charm? Would it answer her wish now that she was abased in the eyes of the spirits?
She smirked to herself. She didn't feel particularly abased. She still felt like herself in fact, maybe even more so. She wasn't particularly kinder than before, just in possession of more options and variation of emotion. She didn't think that'd be good enough for the wishing star.

Username: AislingJuno Who are you entering with? Kaderin Link to the RP you're using: Prompt response: Kaderin gazed up at the beautiful stars, reflecting on the beauty of the universe. Her first and foremost love would always be Gems. She was rather like dragon from the legendary stories. She had a fascination with shinny objects. Like a dragon, she hoarded gems and other objects that caught her fancy. Kaderin was very protective of her "shinnies' . Kaderin did not view the world in a manner most soq would perceive as a normal perceptive. Kaderin judged the world as what was beautiful and what was not. What she perceived as the most beautiful was anything gem like or shinny but she did enjoy the natural beauty of nature. Natural colored soq however were boring to her and did not hold her interest. She however could be polite to them but her personality tended to be cold and her tongue could be quite sharp. With soq she didn't consider beautiful, she didn't bother to curb the bite from her tongue and her words could be quite mean though kaderin did not consider herself evil she knew she could be quite spiteful and cruel. A dark voice inside Kaderin made her acknowledge that she could do evil deeds if she desired a Gem. Kaderin would do many things some quite evil for gems.
However the stars were a gem that Kaderin could never reach out and take. The stars were free to do as they wished, never to be captured by anyone.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: whoan Who are you entering with? Isaak Link to the RP you're using: Prompt response: The lights were in the sky again. He had left his mother's and went north looking for the colder waters his uncles had spoke of. The stallion lay on the bank of the sea looking up at the sky that was splashed with color. The same color he had on his hide. His mother and uncle Kinak had both come from here. And it was here he was trying to find his strength. But he was lonely save for the lights coloring the sky with rainbows.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: whoan Who are you entering with? Savva Link to the RP you're using: Prompt response: It was time for him to travel down his mountain to the grove where his love lived. The giant's heart beat against his chest. He did not like leaving, but none would dare enter his territory during the blizzards that pounded the mountain during the time he was gone. But the giant needed the cold. To live and to leave. He kicked up his hooves, the large giant going into some swirling, twisting dance to expend some of his extra energy and rid himself of nerves before heading down. The snow billowed around the kirin as he danced in happiness. He would see his love come nightfall. He would just have to brave the frost.

Username: tefla Who are you entering with? Castor's Lament Link to the RP you're using: N/A Prompt response: He came from the stars, wished for by loving parents. He and his brother were both welcomed into a family that seemed to be named after the celestial heavens that shone down from above. Castor's Lament gazed warily around the horizon before ascending the hill that the altar of the Wishing Star. It was here that months ago he'd been set upon by a purewalker and rescued by a mare that was quickly becoming someone of importance in his life. He needed to do this alone though. This trip was needed to banish the "bad association" with this place and instead remember the wish that gave him life. He was wanted by most and seemingly that was what he needed to remember. Staring at the sky above Castor sought out the Wishing Star and sent a heartfelt wish that would see him and his siblings safe.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Rein_Carnation Who are you entering with? Poetry Link to the RP you're using: N/a Prompt response: They glittered as her eyes sparkled looking upward curious to their identity. Small in stature her wings already growing past her, Poetry realized she was finally growing up. Her smile soft watching them twinkle perhaps a wink in return for her. Shaking her mane released the softness of chime as her star accessories made music in the night. Moving softly along the ground she wondered who they were in a past life. It was rumored that stars of course were souls passed on watching over those that still walked upon this land. Whatever the truth she nodded her head in thanks knowing they would always be watching - watching over her.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Rein_Carnation. Who are you entering with? Aiden Link to the RP you're using: N/a Prompt response: It became so bright changing the darkened water to a mysterious hue. "Oh! The stars are really amazing tonight" a playful dolphin exclaimed leaping upward then back into the darkness again. This time he made his way inland noting two turtles stranded near the shoreline but not close enough to follow inward. Swimming toward him he chattered in a greeting so they wouldn't get scared.
"Hey there" he introduced himself floating on the waves, "Are you two lost?" After hearing their response he frowned but smiled excitedly learning the wishing star was possibly on the rise. Being by Amarintine's side on that last adventure he hadn't even realized there was a storm present that had blown through the ocean like a giant bird splashing through.
"If you two are right then this could be fascinating news indeed" he responded wondering if there was anything he could do to help. They seemed so set in their ways on gazing upwards at those stars he doubted he could really do anything. Still he wasn't one to just speed off without saying his farewells, "May the stars carry you both homeward safe. If you still need help I'm in the area just give a call and I'll bring my companion to help out. Take care". With that he chattered a bit then leapt upward in the brightened light of the stars before splashing downward like a torpedo into the rolling waves.

Username: AislingJuno Who are you entering with? Briar Rose Link to the RP you're using: Prompt response: Briar Rose gazed at the night sky, with a smile curving at his lips. He loved looking at the moon and the stars that blanketed the night sky. His brother Dusk Rose was a creature of the night and he preferred to sleep during the day and be active at night. It was unusual for a member of his family to be nocturnal but Dusk was an unusual stallion. While Briar Rose was a diurnal animal, he adjusted his sleeping pattern to be able to spend part of the night with his brother. However it had been some time since Briar Rose , had last seen his twin siblings. Several moon cycles had passed since their parting. He missed Dusk Rose and his little sister Blush Rose. While Dusk was a creature of the night, his twin sister Blush was like the sunshine when the sun first made it over the mountain range, pleasant and warm. Blush was all heart, kind to others and sweet in nature. Both her brothers adored and doted on her. She also dearly loved her brothers and was very protective of them. She often insisted that when her brothers started looking for mates she needed to approve the prospective mares. Briar winced as he reflected on his sisters words. He had bonded himself with a mare, who he adored. However their bonding happened fast and he had no time to inform his sister. He knew that when she found out she would feel betrayed and would be quite angry with him.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Anderleit Who are you entering with? Cornick Link to the RP you're using: n/a Prompt response: Cornick gazed up at the sky as if those plentiful stars had the answers. As long as he could remember, there had been one basket, and one letter. The letter, he had heard about a million times - courtesy of the native girl who had raised him. And his basket, lavishly decorated with the vibrancy and love that the letter entailed. It would be a beautiful thing, if only he understood any of it.
The native girl said that his basket had come with a tall, pale elder. His father, Cornick presumed; with the straight hair, pale hearts and stoic demeanor that he had passed on to his son. It was he who had her take down the letter, and pin it gently to the top of the basket. He was patient with her, just woken up and bleary-eyed from sleep. He was understanding of her surprise, although he wouldn't explain anything. All he left her with was the poem-made-letter, and the basket, with her assurance that she would care for it like the precious gift that it was. Then, as she told it, she turned to attend to him - tuck him away in her home, warm the colored wicker with blankets and furs. When she emerged again, he was gone, melted into the forest like so much smoke.
So what had happened to his father? Cornick snorted with frustration, watching his breath billow white against the stars. Why had the old stallion only seen fit to leave him with a poem, of all things? The words held nothing like what he would expect a father to leave his colt, either. No warnings about what not to do, or what to look out for in life. Nothing like how to fight, or when to flee, or how to deal with others like himself. All that, he had to learn on his own.
No, the only thing dear old dad thought worthy of mentioning was beauty. Waxing on about some mare he had known, by Cornick's best guess. He hoped, at least, that the poem was about his mother - but who could say? Had his father been the type to be so preoccupied by one's appearance? It would give him no joy to come from someone so shallow. But he could think of no other reason for the poem, wherein beauty had clearly moved the author to distraction.
He had to assume that there was a reason that his father had left him the poem. Perhaps the beauty it mentioned was his father's version of the ideal. Maybe that was the most important lesson that he felt Cornick could learn. It was a ridiculous thought, and one that actually incensed the male. He was grown, now. Surely he could make his own determinations about what was beautiful. As a matter of fact, he could think of no better way to figure out what that poem was all about. He would set out on his own, travelling until he discovered beauty on his own terms. Perhaps then, he would find some deeper meaning in his father's words.
If not, he could dismiss them - and him - as irrelevant entirely. Either way, he would finally be able to stop wondering.
Cornick arched his neck, another derisive snort spilling out of him. He liked this idea. The more he turned it over in his mind, the more he realized that he liked his idea a lot. He pawed at the earth, carmine hooves leaving deep gouges as the thrill built up in him. Before he knew it, he was whinnying his excitement to the night sky. It was settled then! Come dawn, he would bid farewell to the native girl. In the light of day, he could begin!

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Strifeling Who are you entering with? Orion Link to the RP you're using: N/A Prompt response: Orion gazed at the starry night sky in wonder. The stars gleamed like his sleek feathers and shimmered like the stars in his hair, teasingly tangled in the cool summer breeze. He could feel it in his bones: the earliest touches of autumn, and the scent of something ominous carried on the wind.

There are billions and billions of stars!Username: Dea and #Teddy# Who are you entering with? Aiyana Link to the RP you're using: N/A Prompt response: Aiyana looked up at the stars, they seemed brighter tonight for some reason. As she laid in the meadow, her mind drifted to when her and Xara had gone to make an offering to the wishing star. Stars had always been special to her, since it was her favorite part of nature since she was a little filly. Now it seemed to have more meaning to her, when it made her think of her mate, Star Blayze. A smile came to her lips, thinking how he had come into her life, when they both needed each other. Then the wishing star had added even more to her connection to the stars, thanks to that wish. Her and her sister had wanted their mother back, wondering if it was possible the older mare was still alive. Lo and behold, the Wishing Star had come through and their mother had returned. So any love Aiyana had for those twinkling lights in the star had just grown more and more. She would make sure they were honored in her herd, it seemed only fitting to her.
