Sea you later! Username: KandiCarnage Character name: Seren Silver-Mane Roll response: After realizing that he could breathe underwater Seren decided 'what the heck I may as well follow them and see if there is anything i can do to help in this.' Swimming after the two Mers and thinking to himself how incredibly insane and admittedly amazing this experience was Seren looked all around taking in everything he could reveling in all the beauty in the sea when he spotted a treasure map. "Ooh! How very exciting! He said scooping it up to examine it noting that he was not far from the first area on it. "Hey, do you fellows mind if we stop off at these places on the way?" They nodded their agreement and swam on. Roll tally: 6 Link to rolls: 1

Sea you later! Username: Azael_Rose Character name: Dhavan Roll response: Okay, this is getting ridiculous! He thought furiously. A swarm of jellyfish, apparently awoken or changing directions in their aimless swim due to the earlier underwater avalanche, had risen up to block his path. He stalled in the water, waiting for an opening before following after the Mer brothers and the other heroes of the village. Roll tally: -2 Link to rolls: 1 2

Sea you later! Username: AislingJuno Character name: Ilex Blackthorn Roll response: The whirlpool spun them down into the depths of the ocean. An Angler fish swam up to them, investigating if the were food. It's sharp teeth could easily be made out . Ilex and the Mers hurriedly swam away from the fist and towards the ocean surface. Terrible monsters existed at the bottom of the ocean and it would not be wise to meet them. =-1 Roll tally: 5 Link to rolls: 1,2,3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Sea you later! Username: Kaya Wolf Moon Character name: Naos Drekk Roll response: Naos didn't know what he'd gotten himself into. Not in the least. One minute, he's walking along, minding his own business. The next, he's being asked to help defend a Kawani village against some all-encroaching darkness or being. He still wasn't quite sure on that point either. What he DID know, what he fully comprehended, was that the water had come crashing down around him in one massive wave. There was a brief flash of recognition in his mind when it had happened. The very real, very primal fear clenched at his chest that he would die where he stood. But then... Something utterly unbelievable happened. He had not died. No, quite the contrary actually. He didn't merely survive the wave, didn't simply succumb to its power and sink beneath the depths, but rather he kept afloat in the murky waters and...he could breathe. Breathe UNDERWATER! His initial disorientation had been enough to drive him into one of his underwater guides- the Mer stallions that seemed to be part of all the insanity he found himself a part of now. After they managed to calm him, the task thoroughly explained, their journey had begun. Naos promptly found himself fighting against a forest of coral that seemed bound and determined to grab hold of him and never let go. A good solid tug here and there saw the end to that, and he could press onward with the Mers. Roll tally: 0 Link to rolls: Please link your rolls here.

Sea you later! Username: Kaya Wolf Moon Character name: Naos Drekk Roll response: He felt as if the coral forest stretched on forever. The tendrils of it protruding at odd angles, threatening to ensnare him in their sharp grip. His cuts from his earlier struggle with the blasted stuff burned lightly upon his skin. And yet, the coral wasn't done with him yet. Another tug of war ensued between him and it. Strained grunts and groans of annoyance issued from his throat as he wiggled his body all about to avoid remaining stuck. At last, after what felt like an eternity, he freed himself for the second time in less than five minutes. Naos drifted a bit higher in the water, still within sight and hearing distance of the brother Mers, but well away from the coral menace. Roll tally: 0 Link to rolls: [1]

Sea you later! Username: Azael_Rose Character name: Dhavan Roll response: Perhaps if the Alicorn hadn't been so distracted by the tangle of net, and maybe if he was more in tune with the water's changes, he would have noticed the change in currents. The current propelled him backwards, and no amount of struggling was he able to prevent that. It took a bit, but eventually he managed to struggle out of a bend and back into open water. He was one of the last few Soquili lagging behind now. But Dhavan was not one to give up! Roll tally: -5 Link to rolls: 1 2 3 4

Sea you later! Username: Kaya Wolf Moon Character name: Naos Drekk Roll response: Finally out of the forest of coral, Naos felt a flood of relief wash over him. He was certain that the coral was trying to keep him in its hold, weeping for him to stay and die, for him to be its eternal guard or pet. No thank you. Naos harrumphed upon crossing the threshold. If I never see another piece of coral, it shall be too soon. Part of him thought about turning back and telling the others to press on without him. He'd had enough for one day. Yet the other part of him, the curious and adventurous part, wanted to continue and help. After all, when does a land-dwelling Soquili ever get the chance to explore the depths of the ocean without the inevitable drowning? Never, that's when. And so, he followed the brothers further down into the darkness. Except he must have gotten turned around at some interval. To his dismay, he now faced a danger potentially greater than the coral forest. An enormous horde of jellyfish floated all around him. Where they came from, he had no idea. What he did know was that he needed to get out of their midst and quickly. Which is precisely what he did. Heart racing, he swiftly glanced about, seeking out the safest route of escape. It presented itself towards the bottom of the pack, near what would be his left-hoof side. Naos swam with all his might. The stinging tendrils of a few of the jellyfish brushed across his legs, neck, and shoulders as he made his way down. He burst from the mob in a nearly breathless huff, stopping a good distance away in order to catch his breath. Roll tally: -1 Link to rolls: [1], [2]

Sea you later! Username: Kaya Wolf Moon Character name: Naos Drekk Roll response: Down and down Naos dove with the Mer stallions ahead of him. The waters were progressively darkening around them, yet they could easily view one another. That thought gave the purple and blue stallion a small amount of comfort. To see and be seen in this land of mysterious wonders could mean all the difference between life and death. He was continuously being taught this lesson it seemed. After encountering the forest of coral, after narrowly escaping the mass of jellyfish, Naos found himself caught in yet another odd trial of sorts. The trio accidentally wandered into a stone maze without realizing it until too late. Once entrapped, the three had no option left to them but to find the way out on their own. It hadn't been easy by any means. Many errors were made, more yet to come Naos felt. However, the most difficult portion of the maze to contend with had been the poisonous plants. One misstep and surely they would be done for. Fortunately, the brothers appeared to have some knowledge of the plants that strove to kill them. That knowledge allowed them to eventually overcome the obstacle and complete the maze in its entirety. Now on the other side, Naos's faint sense of relief warred with his ever growing uncertainty. What else did the abyss have to throw at them? Roll tally: -1 + 4 = +3 Link to rolls: [1], [2], [3]

Sea you later! Username: Kaya Wolf Moon Character name: Naos Drekk Roll response: And here is that silly mob of jellyfish again! Naos couldn't help the flare of anger that roiled up in his chest. He bested them once. Now it appeared that they were back for revenge on him for it. As with their previous encounter, the jellyfish welled up around him in an instant. Silent but powerful and deadly in their own right. Naos narrowed his eyes, spinning around in a tight circle, glowing orbs searching for his route out. He refused to be beaten by jellyfish. To have his life stolen from him by their venomous stings would be nothing short of embarrassing and improper. There! He glimpsed open water above to his right. As before, he swam like mad towards the faded blue on the other side of the wall of gelatinous creatures. Once again sustaining stings about his front portion of his body. The pain didn't matter, however. For it meant that he was still alive and able to perform the task requested of him...and that he bested the beasts yet again.
