The door was bigger than he remembered it, but for Zar that was frankly the least of his troubles as things went even stranger than they normally did. This was saying something given the ambient levels of strange which were part of everyday life in Halloween.

It felt somehow sinister and not at all in the good way. The way the windows moved felt alive and he didn't like it at all, his tail flicking angrily behind him as he sought around the strange room for ...

He couldn't remember who he was looking for, and this evoked a panic in him that was almost overwhelming.

When the crystals were presented he snapped them up hurriedly

The last one gave him the context of family. Sand made sense. He had a tail, he could move through it without too much trouble. He couldn't remember what had happened to his brother though.
