The collective of rampant fire and heat seared the land. Hot glittering depressions in the along the side of the road and a fallen Commander seared. Death took place of the sweet chill he must have longed for in his last moments.
Her hands were quaking with the last of adrenaline. Who all still stood? Who was left to challenge her? Unki spun herself backwards to gauge whatever she could that was left. Just road, rock, the outcome of carnage, and an eerie sense of calm. On top of just sight of the mess there was the hard fact that Unki was still feeling awfully alone and began show her unease for the collective eyesore with a fidgety shiver. The girl had to hug herself! Shiro never turned up, to her knowledge, and didn't stand beside her just as he said he would. All sorts of questions about Shiro's well being were piling and clearly not being answered right when she wanted them.
Was he even in The Storm to begin with? No. He had to be there. Unki couldn't formulate a reason why Shiro wouldn't mobilize his forces and not be there. Unki's hands were snug and lined up at her waist as her arms were rightfully wrapped about herself. She was just able to awkwardly snap both fans open with the lining of her sleeves in the way and whisk away the noxious air from her person in one flowing, outward sweep of her arms.
Air was just slightly better that she didn't have to hold her breath anymore and puff squeaky coughs between inhales. Anyone who manages a look at the young empress's face can find she really wasn't taking this whole, collective chaos well (and less so on her own). A second whisk of both fans did a little more to combat the squeaking noises for air with a stir of her chakra. Yellow blips form promptly into two yellow balloon like "bubbles" at her hips which shortly, slowly, lift her into the air and away from the casualties she created. A little purple fan fairy bowing on the string carrying her. A good day to be wearing leggings with a long funny split skirt draping over her legs.
Unki inadvertently gave herself a nice, unsettling, aerial view of the charred commander and the red remains of her attack but frantically fanned herself away and back in the direction she came. Everyone, the dead, looked the same in a way. The remaining late kogarashi had their uniforms, members of the Imperial force had their distinctive garb and Storm reinforcements were coordinated. This wasn't a pretty sight, would have made her sick if she hadn't kept her thoughts as "clear" as she could, but the chunin could take a stagnant tally of the forces lost on all sides. One stood out plainly because one was moving. Walking? Yes, the bright red unknown which Unki couldn't place in the slightest was weak and wobbly before slumping over. Unki couldn't spy and black on the figure's form but their bright yellow hair stood out well. Odds were favoring that this sluggish somebody wasn't a kogarashi but a singular soul from the Storm. Said odds were high enough to lead the woman to descend and investigate.
Despite the concerning dead-to-the-world state of being this bright red man was in there was nothing delicate about his person. He was huge! Unki was just hovering high enough to easily sway side to side over the man. She tilted her floating self forward just enough to giver an initial pat below his neck. His response was probably nothing more than a grumble but enough to convince Unki he's still alive. A good look at his... lack of... half arm had her reaching the conclusion that giving this guy help was a task almost too big for one Unki on her own. On her own. No way a single Unki could lift him and no way she could effectively patch up or even stop the bleeding. He'd probably be dead by now if he wasn't so much of a giant!
"Okay. Okay. Okay. Uhm. " She say almost chanting her weird vocal thought process. Her purple hand holding her fan and tapping it to her cheek, thinking. Was there time to think? Probably not. But Unki managed a quick conclusion and exploded her energy into a couple clones. Why not three Unkis?
One Unki conjured a second and the second conjured a third. They start easy: one clone lifts the strapping strong man's head onto her lap speaking to him quietly, "don't worry mr. Strong Man. ". Her second clone began to hurry through her own pockets and pouches for anything that would work for bleeding. The second Unki huffed and puffed at her double: "You dippy dot, tare off stupid sleeve!""B-but it's new!The third said, pausing to whine before going back to her search. "T-then when I'm gone it's gone!"
The real Unki follows into her next instinctual act. A loud, piping cry for "MEDIC! MEDIC! MEDIC!" She frankly had no idea what her cries would bring about but it stood on the hopes of lingering Imperial forces to hear her. Last resort? Makeshift cauterize.

As. He kept an ear out after finishing fixing up the first soldier that approached him, Hiruko would hear someone calling for a medic. Turning to face the source of the noise, he would sweep in front of him with his staff as he walked quickly over to the source, “Hiruko Kentaro, here to help, what happened?” He would kneel near the person calling for help.

When some responded the real Unki collected herself and began to speak. She sounded less jumpy than she did in her call. "Oh! Whew! You're a medic. Great." Sort of jumping to assumptions. "I can't say for sure. Mr. Strong Man here is bleeding out at his arm. Well. What's left of it." The Unki clone at Karuto's head and was very much delighted to see Hiruko. and gently pat Karuto's cheek. The second clone stopped searching and sort of rolled out of the way as the real Unki fanned herself over to the side of injury. "This arm. Are you able to stop the bleeding? I didn't pick up any first aid kits!"
The real Unki then hurries to drop a third clone. Her newest Unki landed and looked unimpressed at her flying counterpart. "Nobody ever said how to get back up at Arashi. But we'll find a way! Getting him back up to the hospital will be his best hope."

Hiruko would nod at what the woman said as he waved a hand over the large man in front of him, “Yea, he’s losing blood quick...” He would place both hands on the stump of an upper arm the man had left and put his weight into it as he focused his chakra to stop the blood flow to the gaping wound. He would then place his hand over the opening and focus on the veins and arteries, working to sew them all shut to prevent further bleeding. “I’m just a rookie, so I can’t really do a lot, but I think I can get this guy stable enough to not die in transport to the hospital back in Arashigakure....” he would finish up as a green chakra shone around his hand on the end of the arm stump, and the skin started to grow and knit itself together. It wasn’t perfect, but it would hold up for now. “There, that should keep his from bleeding out... he’s probably gonna need a blood transfusion if he’s been lying here a while though...if you need, I can try to help you move him...I can’t see, but he seems like a pretty big guy...”

It felt odd for Selina to return to solid land again after being in the air for five years. The air was naturally more dense with minerals which made breathing a whole new experience. While she felt elated to be on the ground, the young woman could not waste too much time here. With Obei behind her, time was of the essence to arrive in the land of fire. It was up to her and her dearest friend to arrive and stop the issue before it became a problem.

▱▰▱The airship would be seen rapidly flying in the open sky over the Land of Floods as Satoshi continued accelerating as far away from Arashigakure as possible. The lad grabbed an intercom and spoke over the PA system to everyone onboard the skimmer. "We did it! We be away from Arashigakure now. I be takin' us to the land of the crows and out of imperial airspace now." After he spoke with a thrilled tone at the exciting announcement he released the button and continued flying the ship out of the area.
Personal Attributes • Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. A masked man would be seen walking along the road through the mountainous regions of the land of floods. He wasn't going anywhere in particular from what anyone could tell he was just walking. At first glance it may have seemed like he was by himself. A dark brooding figure walking along the roads seemed normal, probably the most normal thing in a world like this in a place like this. However it would soon be changed from the normal brooding hooded masked figure walking alone through the world as the sound of children piped up from behind him. The figure paused, and turned to look towards the sound. Seeing two children coming up behind him, one fairly quickly and almost dully...like he was bored with the mountainous area while the other was moving slowly and looked almost scared....in fact looked terrified of falling.
The male child seemed to simply, find his way to the hooded figure...look up at him with his single eye then turn around and cross his arms. As if waiting, silently for the other child to hurry up, foot tapping. The female child slowly made her way along the path, holding on to the wall for dear life almost as if she would fall at any moment. Eyes tearing up from fear it might have seemed. The masked man made no noise, no indication he was going to do anything as threads crept up from his cloaked form and made their way over to the child. Wrapping around her and then lifting her off the ground and pulling her over to where the other two were. The look of fear on the child's face calmed and she smiled at the two. The boy rolled his single eye and then began moving ahead of the others. The threads would place the girl close to the masked figure, and then recede back beneath his cloaked form with the exception of one. Which remained out and nearby the girl, who quickly took it into her hand as if holding it, smile on her face as the words escaped her mouth. "Tha You" Her way of thanks as the figure began moving, and she did as well. The young boy ahead of them also seeming to move along pretty quickly. This small group of misfits so to speak just...continued on their aimless journey.
Kameyo landed on the ground with a gentleness she didn't feel. It came from habit rather than conscious thought as she was still strangely possessed by the images she saw when her eyes were closed. She wasn't going to be able to rest if she didn't go to the place she saw in her sleep, however, and this motive kept her feet moving as she moved from the village.

Kameyo felt much calmer than she had in a long time. The rising stress and unsettling sensations that came from her internal struggles were finally put to rest and she felt renewed from Katsuyu. It seemed like a new start in all sorts of ways, and for a woman who had the hearts and the means to avoid attempted endings to her stories, it felt like mercy.

He looked over the massive tracts of land over the area that Evergreen revealed to him was where Byakko was. He was searching for the hachibi's chakra which he knew was sealed away into somebody. That somebody would have to be this sacrilegious heathen named Byakko. As he looked over the world for the hachibi's chakra with the pinnacle of ocular power that was the tenseigan he would finally engage Kameyo in conversation. "We're looking for a man named Byakko, he's the jinchuuriki of the eight-tailed demon. Years ago I helped seal the hachibi into the twin Arashikages. When they disappeared the demon went with them. I was concerned about the loss of such a powerful asset in Gyuki being lost to Arashi and what sort of security threat this would post but it was just gone without a trace. We need to execute Byakko for his crimes to our village and seal the demon into me with as little collateral damage as possible." He paused to allow this synopsis of the mission to sink into Kameyo's understanding before continuing. He was apprehensive to continue despite his naturally stoic and composed demeanor. "The goddess Evergreen told me that when the Sun was blackened that Utu died. When that happened, Jashin was strengthened and he plans to strike at Evergreen's universe next. The demons are his key to this dimensional door, so to speak. There was no time for dwelling on the past, however, so she simply gave him a curt nod after he finished everything he had to say. "Is execution the only solution? I don't... I've come a long way from who I once was. I don't want to take any more lives." Her tone was solemn as she processed the mission at hand. Her healing journey had mostly involved Katsuyu and the slugs, and not so much any religion, and as such, she was a little lost in regards to the cosmic battle that was imminent.
"I understand that we'll be extracting the demon and inserting it into you. It... I've been told it isn't an easy process. It could kill you. These seals are constants but you don't know what someone is made of - what they can take - until you're dealing with it. And I can't stop the process, once it starts. Are you okay with that?"

▱▰▱Kenshin continued walking and finally found the location where Byakko resided. The bijuu chakra was a loud blip on his visual radar. Additionally, the area seemed to be the desecrated temple of Evergreen that was described to him. He would respond quickly to Kameyo's concerns as he tried to keep focused on the rogue's location. "It's best to follow the law against violent rogues and use lethal force before he kills you first. However, all I expect you to do on this mission is protect yourself and take care of the sealing when it's time." As a ninshu follower, he also preferred peace but he doubted that such an option would present itself. He nodded confidently when Kameyo outlined the risks of such a challenging and dangerous sealing operation. "I'm prepared to assume the consequences." Kenshin answered dutifully as he continued to walk. They were beginning to approach the country where the temple resided. As they entered the outskirts he would ask Kameyo further questions. "What do you mean that you've come a long way from who you once were?" He asked because he was curious as to why Kameyo was behaving so differently. He supposed that every person had the opportunity of enlightenment as he witnessed in his own life through intensive meditation but he was curious about the nature of such events for Kameyo.

This means that strikes involving the blade cause physical damage including stab wounds as well as seal tenketsu points and any other effects of the technique used through the sword. An additional 5 chakra can be applied to the blade to prevent it from causing physical damage from thrusting but instead seal tenketsu points and inflict pain similar to a stab wound in the area struck but slashing attacks can still cause damage. Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. The initial activation of this technique consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not.
Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
