i like the series and i'm still trying to finish the manga

I watched the first episode, and based on that i perfer it more than the book.

I seriously hate the anime.
It didn't stick close to anything in the manga at all which annoyed me.
The manga however is really interesting and goes much more into depth with everything, plus I think it should be ending pretty soon. T.T

Full Metal Alchemist is AWESOME!!!!! If you love to watch the anime you have to read the manga ...... there is SO MUCH MORE to the story that you dont get in the anime biggrin

So I've heard that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was supposed to go more along the lines of the manga. Is that true? question

I don't know but from what i've seen of Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood there is a far more complex storyline, far more action, and still Major Armstrongs purple stars!!!!!!
