The flames illuminated the darkness, the silhouette of the enemy now present in the distance. The Munna floated weakly, bobbing chaotically in the air as it tried to stay afloat.

"Mu... na... na..."

These bastards... In his home, his people. These humans, and their pets, their slaves, they were... Torturing...

Meanwhile...

Henrietta was helped to her feet by Eunmi. A nightmare? The teen was right, it had been a nightmare. A hellish exaggeration and recalling of events and times and... and...

Henrietta looked at Eunmi and then looked away.

And exaggerations..

"H-hum."

It was a good question. How DID Robert get there? Several halls later they'd found no light, and behind them at the end was a giant room with a hole in the ground where the tree had previously fallen on Henrietta and collapsed the roof, sending her down into this pit in the first place. Recalling it made her forearms ache.

Meanwhile...

Munna was prepared for another assault as he floated from the room to face for the group.

[D-damn... h-humans... I-i'll.... pay... you back.... s**t...]

He prepared another Psywave when a headbutt caught him from below, launching him into the ceiling and he bounced him it to hit the ground below.

[D-damn...]

Over him stood Darumi, eyebrows flaring brighter than ever. Never. Never again would he let Henrietta down.

"MUNNA!" the thing shrieked, so loud that the entire Dream Yard must've heard it.

Darumi stood over it as it lost consciousness and the sound of something down the hall(he's at the end of the hallway where it curves so he can see down it, no one else can) caught his attention. When he turned to look he saw them.

An army of pink eyes.

"D-daru-

BAM! His body smashed into the wall as the multiple psywaves plowed into him. His body, broken and beaten, bounced form it and hit the ground with a thud.

The chanting of the name, Munna, became audible, slowly, quietly, it rose as they approached. The first, feet ahead of the pack, like a leader, floated into view to float over Darumi.

[Pathetic pet. Die.]

"Darumi!" Henrietta cried as she saw this and she began her sprint toward her Pokemon when-

-a man clad in armor, a ghostly figure, smashed into the Munna, sending it to the ground with a thud where it lay, unconscious.

And floating from the wall was Melty, the Litwick. The knight in armor? Nightshade, an attack that manifested the target's fear into form and struck them with power.

[M-melty..] said the weak Darumi.

[Kid, you should let the strong deal with these guys.]

Henrietta reached the duo and then she and Melty turned, for the first time acknowledging the army of Munna.

[Never mind, all yours, kid.]

Henrietta quickly snatched up the heavy Darumi and, despite her fatigue from taking a Dream Eater attack, or had it been Nightmare? It had been something horrible, either way, weight slowing her down, and Melty following quickly behind, she fled back toward the duo.

"Th-th-there's m-m-m-more!" she cried as a chunk of the army reached the end of the hall, now visible to all in the small area.

((And now we begin the Revenge of The Munna.))

"There are way too many," Eunmi said. She could tell even by D-Vee's expression that this wasn't going to end well.

"They want what, us to leave, right?!" she asked the Smeargle. "We invaded their territory somehow, yeah?"

The Smeargle nodded.

"Alright," she pulled Henrietta back. "Then tell them that and let's go!"

Robert grit his teeth at the sight of all of the Munna. At least, that's what he could tell by their cry. Pokemon always use their name as part of their speech unless they are trained to communicate through telepathy or aura to speak with their trainers and others. While the strange ghost Pokemon managed to take down one, there was now almost hundreds.

"This is bad. I was able to get here because my Lucario found your auras and led me here, but now she's napping." Robert quickly explained before he turned and looked to Garnet and Beatrix. "Sorry, but I highly doubt they'll let us leave peacefully after we just fainted that Munna. Garnet, get in front of us. If they try any attack, then use Overheat. Beatrix, If we have to fight, then I want you to follow up and give them a taste of their own medicine with Hypnosis. If they by some miracle do let us leave peacefully, then just try and guide us out of here." Robert spoke to his Pokemon before pointing towards the direction he came from. "I came in from that way. I just hope it's a straight path and not a labyrinth. I couldn't tell with all of this mist." Robert called out to the other two trainers.

Robert waited for his Pokemon to get before the group. "Now then, I apologize for this intrusion. We were wrong to trespass. If you let us leave peacefully, we will leave and not return. If you attack us, we will be forced to defend ourselves. Your friend already did enough damage to these two travelers as it is. I do not want to resort to violence if it can be avoided." Robert called out to the army of Munna.

Henrietta felt herself pulled by Eunmi. The girl, she'd sworn to protect her from creepers and the dangerous of people, or something like that, right? So, now, she was playing the role of the guardian, right?

Henrietta looked at her and then at Robert. She was tired and the weight in her arms was going to make it difficult to run. Which left the other option, she recalled Darumi.

"W-we need to r-run," she said.

What hypocrisy these humans had. Did they think, did they honestly believe that they could request to leave after what they did? What their kind did this day?

Pink eyes glowed and release Psy Wave at the pompous humans who would dare to play the role of the 'better man'.

How, how she was right. Henrietta was tired, her mind foggy. Dodging? How was she going to do that? Melty hid behind her as the dozen attacks spiraled down the hall toward them, kicking up debris.

A simple Overheat wasn't going to stop this.

The smug look was wiped off Saden's face as the pansear was still standing. He had lost the battle. He returned Flurry back to his pokeball and turned to leave the building. However, he saw the gym leader pull out a badge. Saden slid across the icy terrain to claim his badge, well accustomed to this type of environment. He accepted the badge, "Thanks, nice job training that pansear. Once my journey's over, expect a rematch." Saden smirked as he put the badge in his case and slid across the ice once more. He calmly walked out the door of the building, relieved after getting his first badge.

He reached inside his bag and pulled out a revive and a potion, quickly healing his spheal. He showed him the bage, "We tied it!" He decided to leave out the part about the wave not hitting pansear, wanting to make Flurry happier about the victory. He sent out Xavier and Santa as well. He needed to train them all better if he wanted to win the next seven gym battles, and he knew the place to do it. The group walked to the Dreamyard, ready to train for the many challenges to come.

(Edit: Sorry I forgot about that. Edited to revive and potion.)

Robert watched at the multitude of Psywaves collided with Garnet's Overheat. The fire attack slowed the attack down a bit and weakened it a bit, but the psychic attacks ripped through the fire attack. There was no time to recall his Pokemon. Instead Robert jumped out in front of Beatrix and Garnet, crossing his arms in front of his head as he prepared to take the full brunt of the attack in order to protect his Pokemon from the fate they would suffer if he allowed them to get hit. It was just like he did when the Geodudes were attacking a helpless and weakened Riolu back on Iron Island, only this time, even he wasn't sure he'd survive.

Beatrix's eyes grew wide. She remembered when she first met him. He was a trainer she had stolen food from. But when he confronted her and defeated her in battle, he didn't try to catch her. He took what she stole from the other trainers and left what she took from him. She decided to follow him for a while. Her former trainer treated her like dirt, and when she failed to beat another trainer's Rattata, he smashed her Pokeball and left her, calling her weak and useless.

Yet when she talked to Freya, the Lucario had nothing but praise about her trainer. She found this very difficult to believe. And yet now, this human was risking his life to protect her. And she knew if she did nothing, he would most likely die.

She felt a new and strong energy in herself with a desire to protect this trainer because of his selfless heart. While she was still wary of humans in general, she felt that she could truly trust this trainer. As she lept upwards, her body began to glow. She became larger. Just as the attack was about to strike, she flung her hands out towards the oncoming attacks and used Protect to deflect them away. Her new, matured voice called out as she used the move.

"VOOOIR!"

Robert opened his eyes as he saw Beatrix floating before him, putting everything she had into the Protect, her eyes squinting, pushing the attacks away as best as she could until she could hold the defensive attack up no longer.

Robert caught her in his arms as she fell from her float. As he looked at her, he smiled, and a new idea came into his mind. He rushed back to the others. "Grab a hold of me. Beatrix, I need to you to use Teleport and get us away from here!" Robert said as he recalled Garnet to her Pokeball. They would have to act fast before another attack came their way. She helped him cheat death once, and he wasn't going to gamble a second time. Of course, he'd have no idea where she could take them. It was the first time he had her use it. All he could do was hold onto his Gardevoir and hope she was strong enough to take them all someplace safe.

((Okay, ******** posting from my phone.

Also, we-don't-wanna-teleport...))

The Munna's attacks weren't coming from a single Pokémon, and therefore, just because there was a momentary lull in attacks, it didn't keep them from stopping. D-Vee had not run back like Eunmi and Henrietta had, instead standing his ground.

"D-Vee, c'mon!" Eunmi shouted. She suddenly realized she didn't know what happened to Dali either.

"I'm not leaving without them," she insisted, stepping out of range of Robert's outstretched arm. Another barrage of attacks, coupled with the mist, sent a cloud of debris and purple smog clouding their vision.

A large x glowed in front of D-Vee, having used Endure on the second blast of attacks, and he stood wearily looking at the army of Munna.

[We didn't attack you,] he stammered. [We may have intruded into your territory, but we didn't start this fight. Let us go, or more of both our sides will suffer.]

[Your kind invades our home and attacks us even now. Do not tell me lies so that you may regroup,] spoke just one of the Munna.

The others were chanting for the death, the purging, of the humans in their home, and their deluded pets.

"E-eunmi, w-we n-need t-to g-get a-away," Henrietta said, though she had almost no ideas.

[Heh, you look like s**t,] Melty said as he made his way next to D-Vee. [You plan on negotiating with them or fighting? Because it doesn't look like negotiating will get you anywhere. Collapse the ceiling.]

When the questioning was over, Robby was left with many possible decisions about where to go, and the apparent mist in the distance as he stared towards some nameless(as far as he cared to learn) place was tempting to investigate. Unfortunately for anyone his lack of power could have helped, the youth decided on the path that Bacon probably would have decided on. They would go to the gym. But he had to make this dramatic, that was how they usually did things in the shows when someone needed a rematch or was going to confront someone.

So, the obese lad released Bacon, and the two would spend some time going over what would be done. When the time came, they were outside of the gym, ignoring any who left, and the obese lad began working himself up by muttering under his breath. Finally, his foot rose, and the tepig tackled at the door at the same time the obese lad kicked, though they were sure to make sure that the door was party opened and opened that way. To assume they could bust it down was ridiculous.

The door would slam open at the force and the two would barge in, making a scene as Robby's voice called out to the gym leader who had defeated him before. "We have returned and demand that you face us again!" [Unless you're wusses!] Both yelled in the most dramatic tones they could manage, and Robby would wait for the response he assumed would be proper. Evil laughter, some taunt about him not standing a chance, and an acceptance filled with arrogance. That was how the shows did it.

After cooperating with the EMT's and answering a mess of questions, Dave healed Cicero and Goliath best he could with the items he had on hand, then recalled Cicero into his ball. He let out an irritable sigh as he headed into the Dreamyard for some stress relief, Goliath at his side.

((Yes, it's me. biggrin Hi Artemis. biggrin ))

A few hours had passed since Luka's first win. He had successfully navigated the Pinwheel Forest and came out the other side on the road to his hometown of Nacrene City. Along the way he had had a couple of Pokémon battles and his Pokédex told him that Tayla and Kai were about the same level, with Squirt being a bit higher.

It was as he looking for more Pokémon in the grass in the Pinwheel Forest Outskirts that a youngster confronted him, waving a stick around like a sword. "Thou shalt suffer for your crimes, fiend!"

Luka smiled and ruffled the kid's hat, before letting a sardonic "Aww, how cute" escape from his mouth.

The youngster hit him in the back with the stick, "I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle for your crimes, thou monster!"

Clearly shocked by the youngster's audacity, Luka turned around and queried, "Are you light of brain? Respect your elders, kid." He started to walk away again.

The youngster ran in front of him and jabbed the stick into the ground, "Thou shalt not pass without a Pokémon Battle."

Putting his hand to his face, Luka thought for a moment. "Fine. I accept your challenge." He plucked Kai's Pokéball from his belt.

The kid sent out a Venipede and Luka sent out Kai. That was one thing Luka had started to learn. It was possible to figure out what Pokémon a trainer was going to use depending on how they looked and by listening to the rumblings of the balls on their belts.

This was his second battle and he was going to win. Simple as.

((Tk will meet up with the under ground group this post))

Takamaru entered the dream yard, his skates long since put away.
"so this is the dream yard huh?" he said aloud as he wandered around a bit, the small amount of wandering was more than enough to get him lost in this new environment. the young boy looked around somewhat worried at this point, what with all the dangerous machinery, weekend structures and that terrifying mist that long since coated his entire beings in its misty embrace, making it entirely too difficult to see anything in his path.

"Ah! what the hell!" screamed the kid as he backed into a long wall, just as he did this a cry of a 'Munna!' followed. "wha....what is this place? i don't know why its called the dream yard, its more of a nightmare grave yard!" stuttered the frightened boy.

After a few more moments of frantic thinking Takamaru let Spike from his pokeball, "Spike, i need you dig a tunnel under ground and lead me some where safe, think you can do that?"
[who do you think your talking to kid?] grunted the drilbur
"i take that as a yes?" replied a confused Takamaru
[sigh, it would so much easier to insult you if you would understand poke-speech] mumbled the mole pokemon with a nod.

After gripping the mole pokemon Takamaru ushered the command to 'Dig!' and off they went under the dream yards terrain with ease. moments later though the two were flung into an open space, on one end were several humans accompanied with pokemon and on the other... well on the other was certain death by munna. Both spike and Tk were barely missed by a barrage of psybeam.

"what are those!?" asked a panicked Tk After a hurried retreated towards the group of humans and pokemon partners. Spike hot on his trails.
